Where we last left off... Our protagonist Akihiko Suzuki and his group of idols the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, have just released their first group song through a promotional video. This video has caught the attention of the idol world and has put Nijigasaki on the map.

However, that song was written to be performed in front of thousands at the now canceled School Idol Festival.

Akihiko is happy for the video's success, but is frustrated that things didn't play out how they were supposed to be.

Through this frustration, Aki has found his true calling in life. To become a Professional Idol Producer. To bring light to an industry that has been plagued by scandals from corrupt producers towards their clients.

However, a position of power like that is not easily given. You have to earn it. Which is why Akihiko's first step on that ladder is to save the School Idol Festival from becoming canceled.

He has yet to break the news to everyone about his new dream. BUT later that night another call from μ's' leader Honoka Kosaka and Aqours' leader Chika Takami has arranged a secret meetup between the three leaders.

Aki is allowed to bring one of the girls to the meeting. And who better to choose than his childhood best friend, Ayumu Uehara?

We now join them outside of Homura Bakery, waiting for a certain energetic mikan lover from Uchiura to arrive...
