AKI: "Oh, Hanayo! Looks like it's finally time for your turn. Are you ready?"

HANAYO: "Y-Yes! I want to show everyone what school idols can do!"

YOU: "Looks like you've got this, Hanayo!"

HANAYO: "I sure do, though it will be difficult to follow up a performance like yours, You."

YOU: "Come on, you're Hanayo! I know Ruby has been waiting to see what you can do solo."

HANAYO: "Ruby has?"

YOU: "Sure, you're her favorite school idol after all."

HANAYO: "W-Wow! I never thought that I'd ever be an inspiration to someone..."

YOU: "I know you'll do great. Full speed ahead... Hanayousoro!"

AKI: "She's right, y'know?"

HANAYO: "Then I'm ready to make everyone proud! Do you still have that pamphlet I handed you?"

AKI: "Of course, I've kept it safe right here."

HANAYO: "Great!"

I wish I'd have thought about doing something like this for the Nijigasaki girls.

When I saw Hanayo this morning handing out these pamphlets, it made me realize the difference in the levels of preparation between us.

*THAT MORNING*

It's the day of the Joint Solo Live Show! I hope everyone isn't too nervous.

The least I can do right now is help the others hand out their items at the door.

HANAYO: "Good morning! Please take one of these booklets with you today!"

AKI: "Hey, what're you handing out, Hanayo?"

HANAYO: "Morning! I hope you enjoy the show today."

AKI: "I totally will! But what were those papers you were handing out?"

HANAYO: "It's just a little pamphlet I made up. It has my profile, what I like about school idols, and tips on how to become a school idol. I also included a rice ball recipe!"

AKI: "Whoa, you really did. Can I take a closer look?"

HANAYO: "Of course! I'm not good at public speaking, so I thought people would get to know me better if they read this pamphlet. What do you think?"

AKI: "Um... The drawings on the rice ball recipe are really cute. I love how this pamphlet shows so many things that you love.
It really shows how much you want everyone to know more about you. I want one of these little pamphlets for myself!"

HANAYO: "Thank you! Of course you can have a pamphlet. I've got one ready just for you."

AKI: "Thanks! This is so cool!"

HANAYO: "I'll have to do a proper job of performing if I want people to be more interested in me and school idols."

AKI: "You've practiced hard for this, Hanayo. I know you'll be fine!"

HANAYO: *Giggle* "I can't say I'm not nervous, but I want to express my feelings the right way. Wish me luck!"

Hanayo really has this under control! I'm excited about her solo debut!

For her to be this prepared, I have no doubt that she will make this performance an inspiration for aspiring school idols everywhere!

Her pamphlet is so informative and does most of the talking for her. So this will let her go straight into her new song.

HANAYO: "Hey, everyone! Thank you for coming to the show today! Did you like my song?"

*CROWD CHEERS*

HANAYO: "Thank you! *Giggle* I'm so glad.
I'm guessing that since you're all here today, maybe you're fans of school idols?
I also think maybe some of you want to become a school idol or you want to express yourself in some way, or you have something you love to do or that you're really good at.
But maybe you don't know how to become a school idol, or you have doubts if you can really do it. To those of you who feel this way, I want to share something with you.
I, myself, was really worried about whether or not I could perform all on my own."

Hanayo...

HANAYO: "But I'm so glad I didn't give up and am able to stand before you today.
So if any of you are interested in becoming school idols yourselves, please don't be afraid. I want you to stand proud and take that first step towards the stars."

Is she...improvising? No... These are all words from her heart! She's leaving it all on the stage!

HANAYO: "Oh, also! I hope you can all have fun making rice balls at home! Thank you, enjoy the rest of the show!"

*CROWD CHEERS*

HANAYO: "Phew... I was so nervous. I wonder if I did okay?"

AKI: "You did! Your performance was bang-on, and I think everyone's going away tonight liking school idols even more than before!"

HANAYO: "Really? Do you think I actually got some people to be interested in becoming school idols?"

AKI: "I'm sure of it!"

HANAYO: *Giggle* "I hope you're right. Thank you so much for all of your help leading up to today!"

AKI: "You're welcome! Your debut was a big success!"

HANAYO: "So... What about you?"

AKI: "Huh?"

HANAYO: "Did my performance today make you think about becoming a school idol?"

AKI: "I..."

Was that part of her intention?

AKI: *Laugh* "If I became a school idol, I wouldn't have time to help you all create wonderful shows like this! *Laugh* Right?"

HANAYO: "Right..."
