Harmless Antics (Nahyuta Sadmadhi x Sister! Reader)

I sat in my quarters with Rayfa. We were planning a small joke to play on Nahyuta. Apollo was with him, so we'd get his reaction too. Rayfa held up the bottle of men's cologne we bought from the bazaar. "Let's do this." She sprayed me with just enough to produce a noticable smell. "Alright. Done." She hid the bottle and we left the room.

We walked through the palace, talking and laughing. We eventually reached the library, where Apollo and Nahyuta were going over case files. We stopped in front of their table. I smiled. "Nahyuta, Apollo, getting through those cases?" Apollo sighed tiredly. "We're trying our best."

Nahyuta nodded. "The case load increases each day." I leaned over and hugged him. "Don't overwork yourself, alright?" He hugged me back. "I won't." He paused and I could see Rayfa hiding a smirk. He pulled away from me.

"Why do you smell like men's cologne? Where have you been?"

I stepped back. "What do you mean? It's father's old cologne." His eyes narrowed. "I know what father's cologne smells like and that clearly is not it." I bit my lip. "I saw Datz earlier. Maybe it's his." This time, Apollo spoke up. "Not possible. Datz and Dhurke used the same cologne."

Nahyuta stood up from his seat, green eyes narrowing. "So then, this is not a cologne any of us know. Who then, were you with?" When I couldn't produce an answer, he turned to Rayfa. "Do you know who she has been with?" Rayfa immediately straightened up. "I have no idea where she's been, braidhead."

Nahyuta closed his eyes and muttered a prayer before speaking. "Why do you smell like you've been around a man? You are not to leave the palace unless one of us is with you. Have you been sneaking off?" I rose a brow. "And just who would I be sneaking off to see?" He looked at me with his piercing eyes. "That's what I'm asking you. As a princess you cannot just do as you please with a stranger."

I tilted my head. "Ok, fine. I'll tell you." He sighed. "Who is it?" A small smile made it's way onto my face. "It's a prank!" His face turned confused. "A prank?" I nodded. "Yeah. Rayfa and I bought some cologne from the bazaar and she sprayed it on me." He sighed in relief. "Good. You won't be wandering outside of the palace unsupervised anymore."

I gasped. "B-But!" He smiled. "Maybe you'll think about not pulling these silly pranks anymore." I glanced at Apollo and he shook his head. "Don't look at me for help." I huffed. "Come on, Rayfa. I think mother's done with her seance now."

As we left the room, I could just feel the smug smile on Nahyuta's face.
