On the next day of the assembly ,everyone was anxiously waiting for what happens next , a soldier who has been working with Hurianah and Fiona on their reports was brought up before the students , Huria explained to him what he had to do , the soldier gave her a condition that if the curly girl was to be around , he would do whatever she wants . Huria promised him to see the curly girl among the students watching .

She helped him get on to the podium , after standing next to a microphone, she gave him his crutches to support him before a microphone and just when he was ready . Alfonso welcomed him and thanked him for his bravely ,thanked him for agreeing to be around with them to clarify a few things that were bothering them as a university.

"As you see sir, we are gathered here for a common solution to the idea of former guerrilla militants attending schools." Alfonso added . "This university is a medical school, we teach students here how to become better doctors in future , so I would like to ask you a question sir , a person like you who has experienced the wrath of guerrilla militants unlike anyone of us here , a person like you who lost your leg because of them , would you let former guerrillas  attend schools ?"

"First I will tell you my full story right from the beginning when my unit received an Intel that the guerrillas were to attack , we got this Intel late , the guerrillas surrounded my unit and killed everyone , my friend and I managed to survive in the exchange of bullets and grenades , the two of us ran as faster as we could ,the guerrillas weren't willing to give up till they had us all killed , so they ran after us , we slept in mad trying to hide from them ,lucky enough we managed to lose them but a tragedy happened during that moment when we were wandering throughout the jungle ,i stepped on a landmine , it blew my leg off ,my friend got his only jacket in that cold weather and tried to stop the bleeding ,the sound from that landmine alarmed the guerrillas ,they came back , because my friend was the only standing , he was visible to them in that thick surrounding ,they thought he was attending to his landmine wound , they shot him with a full magazine before me and he died , it was absolutely brutal . I can never forget that moment .I keep on seeing that in my dreams ,it's still tormenting me ." Tears streamed down his face as everyone wore a sad face around him.

"Sir ,i see you've been through a lot and I feel so sorry for your loss but the question is ,would you allow people who did that to you ,people who killed your friend to attend school?" Santiago couldn't wait to get an answer from him .

"Would I allow people like that to attend school?" He glared at Santiago . "Is that what you're asking ?"

"That is my question ." He replied .

"My answer is 'yes' . I don't have a room for grudges on people like them , hating them won't bring back  my friend ,hating them won't bring back my leg , hating them will only make me suffer and suffer more ,am glad since I came here, the two girls who have been helping me out in my recovery have helped a lot  on how to get rid of those bad dreams , all I can see now is a bright future ." He stood firm on his point .

"If I may ask one more question sir." Hurianah also had something to say . "Would go back and serve your country despite what happened to you ?"

"Of course , if it weren't this leg ,i would go back and serve my country , serving this country it's what you can love most , killing those who are trying to disrupt the peace of this country it's like a doctor saving lives , you do it with passion ."

"I'd like to thank you sir for sharing your experience with everyone here ." Alfonso stepped in . "There is something for us to learn and to let you all know , all this that have been happening lately have really changed me as a person . Huria will you help you back to your room and for the rest of you students here , this university isn't only for academic excellence , we should look at life from a different perspective ."

"We should vote on this ." Santiago took the other microphone realizing that this was getting out of control. "If you lose the vote doctor Alfonso , you resign and if you win which isn't going to happen , your favorite students will stay ."

"I have no problem with that Santiago ." Alfonso agreed to the challenge . "So now everyone should go home or to your respective classes ,tomorrow it's a big day , make sure you vote with understanding and honesty ."

After dismissing the assembly . Alfonso thanked doctor Tatiana for bringing her students in the project once again at the university, there presence had been of a great help too in solving the matter . Tatiana asked him not to be thankful , the students themselves are the ones who are grateful to him , he had given them an opportunity to share their stories with the rest of the world ,stories which usually they don't want to share with anyone , they felt like a weight has been taken off .

Doctor Caroline came and joined him , she applauded him , thanked him for a wonderful speech he gave out there ,he acted like a true university Dean .

"However I still wonder ,who will win tomorrow's election ? whom will these students vote for ,are you staying or you're leaving ?" She sounded sarcastic .

"I think you're really desperate for this position doctor Caroline ,why don't you just wait for tomorrow's result ? but before I go doctor ,i was planning a party to welcome you at San Pedro university at my house ,you know it's a culture for us here , whenever we have a newcomer , we organize a party to welcome him or her and I hope you show up ."

"Of course I will be there , it's such a honor ."

Manuel who had been with Fiona throughout the assembly had to leave , he was worried that now he managed to speak out about who he really is and what he had been through , student would start getting suspicious of Fiona for hanging around with him ,probably she could lose her job as the assistant to doctor Alfonso ,he promised to come back and pick her later , and just when he had left the university campus , he received a call from Adriana, she desperately wanted to talk to him . Manuel hurried back to his apartment ,getting there, he asked her what was so urgent that couldn't wait .

"Manuel . I'm getting myself a job in Ecuador ,all my papers are already ,i will be working as a model something I always wanted and am leaving with my child ."

"You can not leave with my child , how can you even trust these people who are taking you to Ecuador ? they might be crooks taking advantage of innocent girls , what if it's not actually a modeling job but prostitution ? I don't want you take my child ,things might get worse for you there and it will be my child who will be suffering ."

"Manuel , did you expect me to sit around here and wait for you to come from your girlfriend and see us whenever you felt ? I can give my child anything I want the moment I get this job ."

"Okay ,let's do this , the child will stay and when you settle there and things are looking better for you there , you will come back for the child ."

"Well." She thought about it for a second . "I think that will do ."

Adriana said goodbye to her daughter , left the house to go and fill in her papers that were to help her leave for Ecuador. Manuel disturbed as he was about the issue ,went to doctor Tatiana like always to seek for advise . Tatiana asked him whether he was sure that the baby was his . Manuel wasn't sure whether the baby was his , after a year and half without seeing Adriana, she came back and told him that the baby was his . Tatiana told him to use the opportunity that Adriana was moving up and down to get her visa and her passport ,to take the baby for a DNA test and that was the only way he could prove whether the baby is his or not .

Back at San Pedro university, when done talking to doctor Caroline . Alfonso met his daughter before she could get to her class , asked her to join him in his office because he wanted her to help him with something important , asked her if she could help him prepare a party to welcome the second dean. Huria was shocked that her father had a second ,realized it was her fault that the administration had to put a second to him and in order to catch up with the damages she had made to her father , agreed to organize the party .Alfonso asked her how much it might cost for her to prepare this amazing party inside their house, the two agreed on a certain amount and after agreeing on how much it might cost . Alfonso told her to invite any friends of hers she wanted .

While talking to Huria , he received a call from Helima .Huria had to leave . Helima was congratulating him for a wonderful speech and asked him if she could come over to give him a massage .

"It's okay Helima, am not that tired , tonight I might be a bit busy, maybe next week ." He felt like it wouldn't be convenient to have Helima around on a party like this .

As Huria came out of her father's office , she ran into Santiago , he asked her who she was to vote for , Huria didn't say a word to him , continued asking her the same question as the two went to class, inside the class he asked her to sit next to him as they've been doing it for the past semesters , before Huria could refuse and sit next to Victor , she told him she couldn't vote against her father .

"But you know we've been in this together , it's you who started this by telling me about Fiona , we both want the same thing , the fact that Alfonso is your father ,it doesn't mean you should vote for what isn't right ."

"Listen to me Santiago , when I told you about Fiona . I didn't ask you to expose her , you're a disappointment ,now I know what's right and what's wrong , so don't expect me to collide with you ."

"I think it's better you leave her alone. " Victor intervened and asked Huria to sit next to him . "She is crystal clear ,she doesn't want to be a part of your mess ." He added .

Susana came and sat next to Santiago ,asked him what was going on ,why he was fighting with his friends , advised him what was going on shouldn't separate him from his friends .

"You know what Susana ! am sick and tired of these ungrateful friends of mine , they're ganging up against me , they're protecting a wrong person ." He whispered to her.

"What are you talking about Santiago ?" She became curious . "Who is this person ?"

" It's Fiona . "He continued whispering . "Fiona is the center of all this that has been going on , these people are trying to protect her .Fiona is one of the former guerrilla militants in this university."

"No , you're kidding me . Fiona is one of the nicest girls I've ever met and she's also a hard working girl , she's someone I admire ,she's doing well in class than anyone of us ,she can not be a former guerrilla militant ."

"It's the truth but please if anyone ever ask you where you heard this from , you didn't hear it from me, you're on your own with this information ." He opened his book as Susana went back to her seat .

Huria thanked Victor for defending her and asked him if he could help her in preparing a dinner party at her house .Victor was delighted ,at least something good was about to happen after the chaos that has been going on , he promised to bring all the necessary fruits ,flowers and vegetables ,promised to ask his mother for more information on how to make a perfect dinner party , he then thought about the people who were be on the party , asked Hurianah about it, she told him she had invited everyone she knows apart from Santiago but she wasn't sure whether Fiona could make it since they hadn't settled there differences yet .

"Don't worry about Fiona , you really did hurt her a lot but give it time ,the two of you will talk, wa.a.it , how about Natalia ?" Victor asked .

"Natalia ? I don't know where Natalia is , haven't seen her since the assembly ."

Natalia was worried about her mother and who was to take care of her . Rodrigo had told her that for her mother to recover soon , she needed someone who could take care of her all the time , thinking about her studies and her mother who couldn't now move or do anything for herself . Natalia couldn't handle all that and the only option she had was to approach sister Lucracia when she came to attend to Ms Belinda .

"How are you sister Lucracia ,you know I've heard lots of good things about you from Fiona , so with that I decided to come to you with a proposal ."

"A proposal for me !" The nun wondered . "What is that ?"

"You know sister . I have a mother who is trying to recover from an accident ,she needs a 24/7 care. I should be one doing this , but as you know sister , my studies, and the sad part of it ,lately haven't been getting good grades , so I thought I should hire you so that I can focus on my studies too , you don't have to worry much about it ,i will take sometime off and help you as well ."

"Oh child . I'd love to help you out but my hands are tied here . I only help people in the hospital, there is nothing I can do for you unless you talk to mother superior, it's only mother superior who decides where we go and who we meet ."

"Mother superior ! that's a long process sister , just pay a visit to my house at least for once , you will find that it's a fine house ,you will love working in there , please sister ." She nearly knelt down with her hands folded before her .

"All right child . I will see what I can do for you after talking to mother superior ." Sister Lucracia had no choice but to agree to the corny girl .
