Love Potion Commotion (2)

"Oh? Who's the girl you're going to set him up with?" Kokichi asked.

"Nyeh...it's a secret," Himiko replied with a devious grin. "I'll tell you tomorrow after school."

"Uuuggghhhh...I don't wanna wait that loooong!" Kokichi whined.

  "Patience, Panta Bear...patience," Himiko replied.

"Okay, but it better be good," Kokichi pouted. Himiko gave him a small kiss on his cheek.

"Nyeh...it will be, I promise," she said.

The next day at Hope's Peak Academy, Himiko waited outside the math room after third period. A flood of students came rushing out. Some of the girls, Sayaka, Ibuki, Mikan, and Maki exited the room, waving and smiling to Himiko as they did. Another one of the students was Celeste, who Himiko was waiting for.

"Nyeh...Celestia!" Himiko called out. Celeste turned around.

"Yes?" Celeste asked in her usual demure manner.

"I was wondering...would you like to sit with me at lunch today?" Himiko asked.

"Oh, dear, what an odd request," Celeste replied, raising her eyebrows in surprise. "Why me?"

"Well..." Himiko mumbled, trying to think of an excuse. "I just like your dress, and I was hoping that maybe you could tell me where you got it, and what types of lolita dresses would look good on me!"

"Ah, I suppose I could give you some tips, Himiko," Celeste admitted. "But what about Kokichi? You usually sit with him, do you not?"

"Yeah, but...I think it'd be awkward with him around," Himiko answered. "After all, he is a boy, and he might feel uncomfortable in case we happen to bring up...our measurements."

"That seems rather unlikely, but...I have to admit, it is rather amiable to consider his feelings," Celeste replied. "If it is a lunch date you want, Himiko, I will be happy to join you."

"Thanks! See you then!" Himiko replied, waving goodbye to Celeste. Then, she giggled mischievously to herself. "Hee-hee-hee...all according to plan," she murmured to herself.

"I think you would look best in either gothic lolita style, like me, or sweet lolita style," Celeste said as she and Himiko were looking at pictures of lolita styles on Celeste's phone. Though, Himiko had lied about wanting to know which lolita style would be fitting for her, she had to admit that she was having fun with Celeste, and was now genuinely interested in Celeste's input.

"Ooo...I do like this dress!" Himiko cooed, pointing to a pastel pink dress with frills.

"I suppose it is cute, but not for you," Celeste replied bluntly.

   "Nyeh?"

"I think this dress would far suit you better," celeste replied, pointing to a light yellow dress with strawberries on them. Underneath was a large, white petticoat. In the picture, the girl wore a large, lacy, white bow in her hair.

"I think you're right!" Himiko admitted. "That's a cute dress, too!" Celeste smiled at her.

"Would you like me to order it for you?" she asked.

"Y-You...you'd really do that?!" Himiko exclaimed incredulously.

"Normally, I wouldn't, but as a thank you for allowing me to give you some advice, I do not mind at all," Celeste replied with a dainty, polite smile. Himiko was about to accept, but she remembered her task.

"Um...I would accept, but...it just wouldn't feel right to me," she muttered. "Besides, you should save all the money you have for more important things. I guess I can always have Tsumugi help me make that dress."

"That is true," Celeste sighed. "Such a shame. I'm not always willing to do things for others. This would have been a rare moment for one to witness."

"If it makes you feel better, you can buy it for me some other time," Himiko pointed out.

"But, I might not feel as generous then," Celeste replied.

"If that's the case...again, there's always Tsumugi," Himiko said.

"Hmhmhm...so true!" Celeste replied with a giggle. She turned around to place her phone back into her purse, just what Himiko was waiting for. She looked at Celeste's dress, finding exactly what she was looking for. She quickly snatched it off Celeste's dress just as Celeste turned back to her.

"Well, this has been fun, Himiko!" she said, getting up. "Perhaps we can talk more about this some other time."

"Okay! Bye, Celestia!" Himiko said, waving goodbye to Celeste. Smiling deviously to herself, Himiko held up a long strand of Celeste's hair. "Nee-heehee...perfect!"

Later that afternoon, after school, Kokichi met up with Himiko in her secret magic room underneath the gazebo in Casa V3's backyard.

"Ta-daaaa!" Himiko announced. She was wearing her Supreme Lady outfit. "Nyeh...I'm dressed for the occasion!"

"I can see that," Kokichi replied with a smile. He gave Himiko a quick hug and a kiss. "Hey, what were you doing with Celeste at lunch today?"

"A-ha! I'm glad you asked!" Himiko replied, showing him a baggie with the strand of Celeste's hair. "I need to put this in the potion, so that when Ryoma drinks it, he'll fall in love with-"

   "CELESTE?!?!" Kokichi exclaimed incredulously.

   "Exactly!" Himiko replied triumphantly.

"Why her?! " Kokichi asked, throwing his arms up. Himiko's smile faltered a little.

"Well...because she's polite and dainty, and I think she'd listen to Ryoma's feelings," she replied with a small shrug.

"She's also a conniving, spoiled brat!" Kokichi added. "She wants people to do things for her. Ryoma's not gonna let Celeste walk all over him!"

"Well...I didn't wanna match Ryoma with someone who might remind him of his girlfriend," Himiko said. "He might get too sad!" Kokichi tilted his head with uncertainty and lifted a brow.

"And Celeste was the best you could come up with?" he asked. Himiko hung her head.

"Well...I guess I should try again," she mumbled.

"Nuh-uh, don't do that," Kokichi said. Himiko lifted her head and gazed quizzically at Kokichi.

   "Nyeh? Why not?"

"Well, even though Celeste isn't the perfect match for Ryoma, I still wanna see what happens," Kokichi admitted. Then, he looked closely at the strand of hair. "But...are you positive that's Celeste's hair?"

"Well, yeah, I found it on her dress," Himiko answered. Kokichi examined it further for a few moments before shrugging.

"Okay, then! Proceed, Monkey Buns!" he said with a cheeky grin. Himiko gathered the ingredients for the love potion, and poured them into her cauldron. The ingredients created a bubbling, bright pink liquid. Lastly, Himiko added the strand of hair and stirred for a few more minutes until the bubbling settled, and the strand of hair dissolved into the potion.

"Nyeh...all done," she said. "I just need to pour it into a bottle and give it to Ryoma."

"I don't think he's going to accept it so easily, HimiCocoa Bean," Kokichi warned.

"How should I give it to him, then?" Himiko asked. Kokichi tapped his chin in thought.

"I think I know a way!" he said, taking the bottle of love potion from her.
