Kokichi and Himiko Fifteen Minute Power Hour

*Read this story as if you're watching a youtube video*

"Gooood morning/afternoon/evening/night to you, fellow munchkins, wherever you are in the world!" Kokichi announced, looking at the camera. "I'm Kokichi!"

   "And I'm Himiko!" Himiko announced.

"And we're...the MischiefMunchkins!" they said unison.

"So...Himiko and I decided to add a new show to our channel called the 'Fifteen Minute Power Hour,' where we do all sorts of wacky stuff," Kokichi said. "We kinda wanna add more to the channel than just gaming to spice things up a bit."

"Nyeh...Kokichi thought up the idea, and I was nervous when he said 'wacky stuff,'" Himiko said. Kokichi tossed his head back and laughed.

"Hahahaha...what are you so nervous about?" he asked.

"Becaauuse...every time you mention doing something wacky, there's always a mess involved," Himiko pouted, twiddling her fingers.

"Noooo..." Kokichi assured, giving Himiko a small hug. "You'll be alright, HimiCocoa Bean. Besides, today, we'll start with something fairly easy!"

  "Okay, I'm ready," Himiko said.

   "Sooo, Himiko..." Kokichi began.

   "Soooo...?" Himiko asked with anticipation.

"Have you ever...been to America?" Kokichi finished. Himiko thought about her answer.

"I have...on one of my magic show tours," she answered. "But...it was when I was younger, so I don't remember much about it."

"By the way, for those of you who are new to our channel, Himiko here is a..." he paused to look at Himiko. He smiled as she rolled her eyes and sighed.

"You can say it," she said.

"Nee-heehee...Himiko is a magician," Kokichi said.

"But I prefer to be called a mage!" Himiko said. "My magic knows no bounds!"

"Hahahaha, that's right," Kokichi said. "Unless you want your head to be ripped off, call her a mage, not a magician."

"Nooo, I'm not gonna rip their heads off," Himiko said.

"Well, how else am I gonna get the message across?!" Kokichi exclaimed. "I can't just tell the munchkins in a babyish way, or else it won't strike fear into them, and they're not gonna take you seriously!" Himiko turned to the camera with narrowed eyes.

"Nyeh...take me and everything we do on this show seriously...or else," she joked in a raspy voice.

   "Hahahahaha!" Kokichi laughed.

"Why did you ask about America?" Himiko asked.

"Because..." Kokichi said, reaching underneath the desk, and pulling out a large box of snacks. "We are going to try some...American snacks today! Ta-daaaaa!!!" He lifted the box and dumped the snacks onto the table.

"Ooo!" Himiko squealed. "Nyeh...where'd you get those?" Kokichi turned to the camera.

"So, a friend of ours...Rantaro...he, um, travels around the world sometimes, and he actually just came back from America not too long ago," he explained. "I asked him to find some snacks for us there."

"Oh, that's why you asked him!" Himiko said. "It's for today's show!"

"Mm-hmm...and now here they are!" Kokichi said, tapping the box. "Let's see, we got...Funyuns, these chicken-flavored cracker thingies, ooo...this looks fun...wild berry Pop Tarts? Hm...barbecue Pringles, Jolly Ranchers, Reese's Peanut butter Cups-"

"NYEH...KOKICHI!!! I'VE HAD THESE BEFORE!!!" Himiko yelled, startling Kokichi. Himiko was holding up a box of Twinkies.

"Hahahaha...you scared the crap outta me!" Kokichi laughed. Himiko began to laugh, as well.

"Nyeeeh...I'm just so happy because I remember these!" she said.

"You wanna try those ones first?" Kokichi asked.

"Well...you can finish...introducing the other snacks...or whatever," Himiko replied, cradling the box of Twinkies to her chest and stroking it every now and again with her thumb. "I'll wait while I hold the Twinkies."

"Hahaha, okay," Kokichi said, shaking his head. "O-kaaay, let's see, we got Oreos, Mountain Dew, Root Beer, Cheetohs, this thing called...Arizona Fruit Punch, annnnd...this looks like a box of cereal."

   "Cinnamon Toast Crunch," Himiko read.

"Have you heard of it?" Kokichi asked. Himiko shook her head.

   "I don't remember," she admitted.

"Welp, that's all fine and dandy, since your reaction is vital to the show," Kokichi joked as Himiko giggled. "Okay, Monkey Buns...which one do you wanna try first?"

"Hm..." Himiko thought, tapping her cheek as she perused the snacks. "Well, I definitely wanna save the Twinkies for last."

   "M'kay," Kokichi nodded.

"I think I wanna start with the Jolly Ranchers, because it's candy, and I wanna get that outta the way first," Himiko said.

"Okie-dokie, Himikokie!" Kokichi replied, opening the bag of Jolly Ranchers.

"Ooo, I want the red one! Is it strawberry?" Himiko asked. Kokichi looked at the back of the bag.

"No, it says the flavors are grape, cherry, blue raspberry, green apple, and watermelon," he answered.

"Ohhh..." Himiko groaned with disappointment. "Nyeh...it's not looking good, so far, America. We're off to a bad start."

"Nee-heehee...it's not how it looks that matters in this case, Himiko, it's how it tastes," Kokichi said.

"Alright, I'll pick blue raspberry," Himiko said. Kokichi handed her the blue Jolly Rancher, while he reached for a grape-flavored one.

"Bottoms up, Monkey Buns!" Kokichi said. They popped the candy into their mouths.

"Es so hawd," Himiko said through a full mouth.

"Hm?" Kokichi asked. Himiko moved the Jolly Rancher to her cheek so she could speak.

"I said it's so hard," she said. Kokichi nodded. "Nyeh...I'm scared I might accidentally swallow and choke on it."

"Mm...do you like it, though?" Kokichi asked.

"Nyeh...it's very sweet that it makes my mouth, like..." Himiko said as she rolled her hand, trying to think of the word.

   "Salivate?" Kokichi finished for her.

   "Yeah! Mm-hmm!" Himiko replied.

"Hmhmhmhm...me, too," Kokichi said, chuckling. "Mm...I think we gotta suck it until it gets smaller so we can eat it." He glanced at the camera. "We'll cut to when we're done eating this thing." Right afterwards, the video cut to Kokichi and Himiko sticking out their purple and blue tongues. "I li'e wha' it di' tah mah tun.'" Kokichi said, pointing to his tongue. Himiko giggled. Kokichi stuck his tongue back in. "So...how do you rate Jolly Ranchers, Himiko?"

"Four," Himiko said, giving the Jolly Rancher bag the stink eye. Kokichi looked at her in surprise.

   "Seriously?!" he exclaimed. "Why?!"

"I mean, I liked the taste, but...I feel like that candy is a deathtrap!" Himiko answered.

   "Hahahahahahaaaaa..." Kokichi laughed. "God, Himiko!"

"Nyeh...what?!" Himiko asked with a smile. "How do you rate it, then?"

"Well...I did like the taste," Kokichi admitted. "But...I dunno, I didn't like the way it felt when it got all flat, y'know, when you could actually chew it. I guess I'll give it a seven."

"Whatever. I'm glad we're done with that," Himiko muttered. Kokichi chuckled at her.

    "Okay, what's next?" he asked.

"The Funyuns," Himiko said. "They look suspicious."

"What do you mean?" asked Kokichi.

"They look like I won't like them," Himiko replied. Kokichi smiled and rolled his eyes as he reached for the bag of Funyuns.

"You're crazy, woman," he said. He opened the bag, and the two took a whiff of the bag inside. They wrinkled their nose.

"It smells...onion-y," Himiko said with disgust.

"Well, yeah...they're called 'Funyuns,' for a reason," Kokichi said. "Because they're the fun kind of onions."

"Nyeh...they don't smell fun," Himiko muttered.

"Oh, stop being such a baby," Kokichi teased. He reached into the bag and pulled out a Funyun for Himiko, and another for himself. "Cheers!" he said, tapping his Funyun against Himiko's. They popped the Funyuns into their mouths.

  "Yuck!" Himiko exclaimed in disgust.

"Haha, really, Himiko?! You don't like them?!" Kokichi asked in surprise.

"Well...I guess they're okay, but...I dunno, they taste like armpit, or something," Himiko replied. Kokichi brought his hand up to his mouth as he wheezed with laughter.

"Hahahaha...when...when have you...when have you tasted armpit?!" he asked through his fit of laughter.

"Just now, when I ate that! " Himiko replied, eyeing the Funyuns with disgust. Kokichi laughed even harder, causing him to fall out of his chair. The video then cut to Kokichi sitting back in his chair after calming down.

"So...how would you rate the Fun-" he began.

   "ZERO!!!" Himiko interrupted.

"Hahaha...da-yum, Himiko!!" Kokichi laughed. "And I thought I was ruthless!"

"I'm sorry! They just...tasted weird!" Himiko exclaimed.

"C'mon, at least...try not to be so quick to judge, next time," Kokichi said.

"I'll try, as long as you keep me away from the Not-So-Funyuns," Himiko said.

"Well, I thought they weren't so bad," Kokichi said. "I'll...eh...I'll give them a six."

"Six is the right number because those things need to be buried six feet under," Himiko muttered, causing Kokichi to laugh again.

"God, woman!" he said, shaking his head. "Okay, next snack! How about these chicken-flavored cracker things?"

"Well, okay," Himiko said. "They can't be any worse than those Funyucks." Kokichi let out a small wheeze of laughter as he reached for the box of chicken-flavored crackers. He opened it up and grabbed a cracker for him and Himiko.

"Cheers!" he said, tapping his cracker against Himiko's before the two popped it into their mouths.

"Mmm..." Himiko said thoughtfully. Kokichi raised his eyebrows at her.

    "You like?"

"Yeah, these are pretty good," Himiko answered.

"Whooooo!! We got a good response from Himiko!!" Kokichi whooped. Himiko reached for another one. "You really like 'em, huh?"

"Nyeh...yeah! These are actually really good!" Himiko exclaimed. "Ten out of ten!"

"Niiice, Himiko!" Kokichi said with a delighted smile.

"Can I have them?" Himiko asked shyly, slowly pulling the box towards her.

"Yeah, babe, take 'em!" Kokichi said. Himiko snatched the box of chicken-flavored crackers away with glee. "I'll give those a seven."

"A seven?! Are you nuts?!" Himiko exclaimed.

"A tad too salty, but other than that, it's a pretty good flavor," Kokichi replied. "M'kay, how about the pop tarts, next?"

"Actually...do you think we should try the salty snacks first?" Himiko suggested. "That way, the sweet and salty won't be so mix matched on our tongues."

"Okay, we can do that," Kokichi said. "That being said, we can try the barbecue Pringles, next." He opened the can, and tore off the seal. He gave a Pringle to Himiko and grabbed one for himself. "Cheers!" They chomped down on the Pringles.

"Nyeh...I like these, too," Himiko said with a smile.

"Really?" Kokichi said. Himiko nodded. "you can have those, too, then."

"You don' t like them?" Himiko asked.

"No, they're pretty good," Kokichi replied. "I'd give 'em an eight. There's not enough barbecue flavor on it, I don't think."

"Well, there's enough for me!" Himiko said, taking the can. "Ten again!" Kokichi laughed.

"M'kay...next, we'll do the Cheetohs," he said, opening the bag. Once he did, a strong smell wafted from the bag.

"Ewwww...it smells like feet in there!!" Himiko shouted. "I think the name for this stuff is right, only it should be spelled C-H-E-E-T-O-E-S!

"Hahahaha...you're not wrong, they do smell weird," Kokichi admitted. "But maybe they'll taste okay." They toasted before popping the Cheetohs into their mouths.

"Noooope!" Himiko exclaimed as she chewed. "Nyeeeeh...every bite is tortuuure!" Kokichi laughed as he watched her struggling to eat.

"Yeeaahhh...that's not the best," he agreed. "It doesn't help that it smelled like feet when we first opened it."

"Nyeh...it's still not as bad as the Funyucks, so I'll give it a one, I guess," Himiko said, shuddering.

"I think that was worse than the Funyuns," Kokichi said. "Probably a two or three. They're kinda just...I dunno, I think I have to get used to those."

   "I don't cuz I won't! " Himiko breathed in horror.

"Welp, the good news is, Himiko, that we're all out of the salty snacks, so it's down to the drinks and the sweet stuff!" Kokichi said.

   "What a relief," Himiko said.

"We should wash what we just ate with a drink, so which one do you wanna try first?" Kokichi asked.

"I've always wondered about root beer because I've heard people say that it has a weird taste," Himiko said. "And that scares me, so we should get that outta the way, first." Kokichi shook his head and laughed.

"Okay," he said, cracking the root beer open. "You wanna try it first, or do you want me to go first?"

"You do it!" Himiko said. Kokichi chuckled and took a swig from the can. He grimaced.

"Oh, yeah...that's weird!" he said, smacking his lips.

"What does it taste like?" Himiko asked hesitantly. Kokichi handed the can to Himiko.

"Here, you taste it before I tell you my thoughts," he said. Himiko reluctantly took a small sip. "Nee-heehee...you gotta take a bigger sip than that, Himiko!" Himiko took a deep breath and took a bigger swig. Her face wrinkled with disgust.

   "Nyeh...that tastes like..."

   "Mouthwash!" they said in unison.

"Yeah!" Himiko said. "Who wants to drink mouthwash soda?! If you want mouthwash so badly, just swish some mouthwash! Why have it in your soda?!"

"Well...it's gross...but..." Kokichi began, taking another swig and smacking his lips.

"No way!" Himiko said, shaking her head. "There should be no 'but ' in that sentence!" A smile crept onto Kokichi's face.

"It's actually a little okay," he said. "It's gross, but...I've had grosser. I'll give it a three."

"Ew...no, no...get that zero away from me," Himiko said, pushing the soda can away.

"Hahaha...okay, next, um...wanna try another drink?" Kokichi asked.

"Mm...yeah, we can try the drinks first, and then move on to the sweets," Himiko said.

"Cool beans!" Kokichi nodded. "Okay, let's try this Arizona Fruit Punch! Damn, this is a big-ass can!"

"It better be worth it," Himiko said. Kokichi shook his head and smiled at her.

"You're just over here being a Judge Judy, aren't you?" he teased.

"Nyeh...I'm trying to be as honest as I can," Himiko said.

"That's fair, that's fair," Kokichi said, opening up the can of Arizona. "M'kay, lemme take a quick swig of this." He chugged the beverage and smacked his lips for the taste. "Mm...not bad. I like that," he said, handing the can to Himiko. Himiko took a sip and smacked her lips, as well.

"I like that, too," she said. "I'll give that an eight. I'm kinda disappointed that it's not fizzy."

"Same, same!" Kokichi agreed. "I'll give it an eight, too!"

"Wow, we finally agreed on something!" Himiko exclaimed.

"I know! It's like we're...soulmates!" Kokichi joked with a goofy grin. Himiko giggled and rolled her eyes. Kokichi stroked her cheek before reaching for the Mountain Dew. "Aaaalrighty, Monkey Buns! Time for the Mountain Dew!" He opened the can and took a sip. "Mm...alright! Alright! Hey, I like this! This is pretty good!"

"Lemme try," Himiko said as Kokichi passed the can to her. She took a sip. "Ooohh..." she said. "That is pretty good!"

"Right?!" Kokichi exclaimed. "What would you give it?"

"Nyeh...nine," Himiko replied with a firm nod. "I kinda like the sharp taste to it, it's kinda...citrus-y."

"Yeah, I like that, too, except...I'd give it a ten," Kokichi said.

   "Nyeh...your first ten!" Himiko exclaimed.

"My first ten!" Kokichi repeated, doing a little dance. "Okay...now, we move on to the sweets! Which one, first?"

"The peanut butter cups," Himiko said. "I'm curious about those."

"O-kay!" Kokichi said, reaching for the bag of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. He gave one to Himiko, and they opened up the golden wrapper, and unwrapped the paper folding around the peanut butter cup itself. They popped the chocolate into their mouths.

"Mmmm..." they both hummed in unison.

   "That's pretty good!" Kokichi said.

"That's a ten!" Himiko agreed. "I really like the peanut butter mixed with the chocolate. Now that's magic!" Kokichi chuckled and nodded in agreement.

"Agreed! Ten out of ten!" he said. "M'kay, how about we try the Oreos, next?"

"Ooo...okay!" Himiko replied, squirming with excitement. Kokichi opened up the Oreo package. Immediately after doing so, Kokichi and Himiko's noses were overwhelmed by a chocolatey smell.

"Ho-ly crap, that smells so good!" Kokichi breathed. He handed her an Oreo before taking one for himself.

"Wait, how do we eat these? Do we eat them as they are, or do we pull apart the sides and lick the cream in the middle?" Himiko asked.

"Hmm...I'm not sure it matters?" Kokichi replied with uncertainty. "But, we could do that!" They tore the sides apart and began licking the cream. "Ooo...ooo...that's good..." Kokichi murmured as he licked the cream. The video zoomed in on him licking the cream with the beginning of the song "Careless Whisper" edited in before cutting back to him waiting for Himiko's reaction.

"I like that," she said. "It was good."

"I love that stuff! Freakin' ten out of ten!" Kokichi exclaimed. Himiko giggled.

"Yeah, you definitely have a sweet tooth," she said.

"Yeah, that must be it because I love this Oreo stuff, man!" Kokichi said. "Whoo! Hey, I'm keeping these."

"Nyeh...that's fine," Himiko replied, waving her hand dismissively.

   "Pop Tarts, next?" Kokichi asked.

"What exactly are those?" Himiko asked. Kokichi looked at the box.

"They're toaster pastries," he replied. "We don't have a toaster with us right now, so I guess we'll just have to eat these as they are."

"I hope I don't have to add another 'o' to it," Himiko muttered. Kokichi looked at her with a confused smile.

"What are you talking about?" he asked.

   "Nyeh...Pop Tart?" Himiko said.

"Oh! Hahahahaaa..." Kokichi laughed, tossing his head back. "You don't want it to taste like poop! Hahaha...poop tarts!" He opened up the box and unwrapped the foil around the pop tarts. He handed one to Himiko.

"This is pretty," Himiko said, eyeing the purple and blue frosting.

"Let's hope it tastes how it looks," Kokichi said. They bit into the pop tarts, and wrinkled their faces in thought.

  "It's...okay..." Himiko said.

"Yeah, I like the fruity filling, and all, but it's not really...doing anything for me," Kokichi said. "I think it tastes better heated up. Otherwise, it's...kinda disappointing."

"Yeah, I think I'll give it a six," Himiko said.

"I'll give it a seven only because we haven't really eaten it the way it's supposed to be eaten...so I'll be generous," Kokichi said. Himiko bowed to him playfully.

"All hail the generous Supreme Leader," she teased. Kokichi laughed.

"M'kay, next...we'll try the penultimate thing on our list, Cinnamon Toast Crunch," Kokichi said, opening up the box. He tore open the bag and reached inside. "Oh, my God, I love that cinnamon-y smell!" He grabbed a handful of the cereal and scooped it into his mouth. Soon after, he raised his hands into the air. "Yes! Yes! I love that shit! That stuff...is the shit, bay-beeeee!! Ten out of ten, would eat agan! All day, errday!"

"Can I try?" Himiko said. Kokichi tilted the box so that Himiko could reach inside and scoop some for herself. "Nyeh...wow, that is really good!" she exclaimed.

"RIGHT?!" Kokichi exclaimed. "That stuff is just covered in...yes! Just...yesness all up in my mouth right now!" Himiko giggled happily as she ate the cereal. "How do you rate it, Monkey Buns? And it had better be a good ranking! I don't wanna hear nine, or any shit below that!"

   "Nyeh...ten," Himiko giggled.

"WHOOOOOOO!!!" Kokichi cheered. "My baby knows wassup!! My baby knows wasssuuup!!" He wrapped his arms around Himiko and squeezed her tightly, squishing his cheek against hers. Himiko laughed harder. "Okay...Monkay Buns...last item on the list. Let's see if Twinkies can outdo Cinnamon Toast Crunch!"

"Okay, lemme open the box," Himiko said. She opened the box and removed two Twinkies. She handed one to Kokichi.

"So...this is a sponge cake with, like, cream inside, right?" Kokichi asked.

"Right," Himiko said, opening up the wrapper. Kokichi opened his, too, and they both bit into their Twinkies. Kokichi sighed and dropped his head. Himiko giggled. "Nyeh...do you like it?" Kokichi slowly lifted his head back up and stared at the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch with a conflicted expression.

"Lawd, hammercy," he said. "Don't do this to me!" Himiko tossed her head back as she laughed at Kokichi while enjoying the taste of the Twinkie. "I am so...conflicted, Himiko! Like, this is really good! The cream is what does it for me, and the cake itself is super soft! But...damn, that Cinnamon Toast Crunch is slammin!' "

"Nyeh...definitely the Twinkies are my favorite," Himiko said.

"The Twinkies?" Kokichi repeated. Himiko nodded in confirmation. "Man...I don't...I don't know, man," Kokichi sighed. "I'll definitely give these a ten, though!" The video then cut to Kokichi and Himiko after having cleared up the snacks form the table.

"Welp, that's it for today's new show, Fifteen Minute Power Hour," Kokichi said. "Himiko what did you learn today?"

"Nyeh...I learned why America has an obesity problem," Himiko answered with a wry grin. Kokichi turned away, trying to hide his smile and laughter. He cleared his throat and turned back to Himiko.

"How are you so ruthless on camer-...she's not really like this off-camera, guys," Kokichi said, looking at the camera. "She's actually pretty tame off-camera."

"It's the other way around with Kokichi," Himiko said to the camera.

   "Nee-heehee...that's true!" Kokichi admitted.

"It's the snacks I just ate," Himiko said. "I lost my 'ruth' because of them." Kokichi smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Aaaanyhoo...well, that's it for Fifteen Minute Power Hour!" he said. "Let us know what you'd like for us to do next time! Um...we'll be uploading the Power Hour every...Tuesday? Is that alright, HimiCocoa Bean?"

   "Nyeh...that's fine," Himiko nodded.

"Okie-dokie! Every Tuesday, we'll upload the Power Hour, and we'll see where it goes from there," Kokichi said.

"Right!" Himiko said, giving the camera a thumbs up. They both waved goodbye to the camera.

"See ya on the flip side, munchkins!" Kokichi said.

   "Nyeh...byyye!" Himiko said.
