Episode 146 - Can't thank you enough

It was around 7 am and Gautam and Sunaina were sound asleep inside the office with their heads on the desk with laptop in the front and facing each other when an alarm rung really loud. Gautam, with closed eyes, moved his hands trying to sense the phone to off the alarm when Sunaina switches it off and looks at their boss,

Su - Paapa?
BK - Poori rath ghar nahi aayi aur inform bhi nahi ki. I thought I'll find you here. Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?
Su - I just thought I'll help Gautam a bit.

He looks at Gautam who was still sleeping,

BK (funny) - Agar sona hi hai, toh ghar jaakey so sakta tha. He makes it look like I'm abusing my employees.

He looks at Sunaina who was giving a funny stare and,

Su - Obviously you are! (Funny) Independence Day hai. Bharat ko toh freedom milgaya, bichara Gautam ko nahi.
BK - Freedom toh 3 mahiney diya tha. And you're my employee. How can you talk about your boss like this?

Sunaina gives a funny teasing reaction to her dad,

G (funny) - You guys should seriously decide. Paapa ya sir. This is too confusing. And Sunaina, I actually don't mind working.

The two of them look at Gautam who was now awake and gave a funny reaction as he didn't understand the whole daughter-employee drama between the two of them,

BK - You better not. Alibi mila?
G - Yes sir. Yeh rahi party ki photos.

Gautam handed over some photos to his boss who looked at them,

BK - The time matches the statement. Good. Then document everything and discuss with the prosecution.

Gautam takes the photo from his hand and looks at it with a lost expression,

BK - Gautam?
G - Yes sir.
BK (turns to Su) - What about you?
Su - I'll be staying here.

He nods his head and leaves while Sunaina waves him bye. As soon as he leaves the office, she turns to Gautam who was getting up to leave,

Su - Hello? What are you doing?
G - Going out.
Su - Abhi abhi tumney kaha I don't mind working.
G - I'm going here.

Gautam shows her of the photos he had just showed his boss.

Su - Toh main bhi aarahi hoon.
G (complaining) - Sunaina yaar!!
Su (bossy) - I lost count of how many times you owe me. You're taking me. (Childish) You know paapa doesn't let me in field.
G - Fine. Get ready and ek gantey mein office ke saamney milo. Okay.

Sunaina nods her head while Gautam leaves to his house to freshen up. As he reaches the door, he stops and looks at her and,

G - Don't tell your dad about this.

He smiles and leaves while Sunaina looked confused,

Su (calling out) - Isn't this about our case? Gautam? Gautam??? (To herself) He's acting suspicious.

Sunaina wonders what's going on as she picks up her bag and keys to leave. She picks up her phone where she has a weather notification,

Su (out loud) - Red alert? Yahan?

She clicks the notification to read it,

Su (out loud) - Heavy to very heavy rain fall and storm expected. To last for 48 hours. (Funny) Huh? August mein? Storm? Woh bhi yahan? Yeh weather forecast log na..... kuch bhi. (Thinks to herself) We better take the car then.

She locks the office door and leaves.

Meanwhile in Warrior High, the 10th and 12th grade students were seen standing in the ground, wearing their sports uniforms (white). The were standing in lines based on houses with girls and boys lines alternatively.

As Anwesha ma'am hoists the flag,

<Song plays - Vande Madaram (ARR)>
The students along with the teachers and every person in the school, looking above at the flag, salute in unison. Each of them also have a smaller flag pinned to their uniform.

Later, the students had special independance day breakfast on the ground which included tricolour cake as well as south Indian food with three chutneys (Tomato, Coconut and Pudina - Three colours).

As the gang sat as a circle in the ground and had breakfast, they noticed the silence among themselves as Sid, Siyali and Utkarsh were sitting apart from each other awkwardly. So to break the awkward silence, Niti decided to take a random topic to talk about,

Ni - Yeh kaisi independence day celebration hui? Humari orphanage mein issey bada celebration hota hai.

The gang looked up why she brought up this while she gestured Parth to reply,

P - Wahi toh main bhi sochraha hoon. No speech, no Performances, nothing?
K - For all those, agla semester hai na?
A - Mathlab?
K - You mustve already noticed, Warrior High mein the second semesters are usually longer than the first semester. That's because saari functions, annual day, sports day, trips, farewell, culturals, almost 80% of all the events happen in second semester.
Vd - And, these days are special classes for 10th and 12th. Obviously, they won't make us waste time practicing and performing. Let's just be happy were getting themed breakfast.
L - Woh sab toh teek hai. Mera toh problem longer classes ka hai. Subah sey raat tak class.... (Tired) Ek aur hafta, I can't take this any longer.
C - It's either this or few more weeks in school. Main toh kehta hoon, thodi aur din survive kartey hai, phir Ghar jaakey ek mahiney ke liye rest.
I (tired) - Aargh! Vacations. Feels like school is going on forever.
T (complaining) - I know right! Aur yeh outdoor breakfast ki kya zaroorat thi yaar!
Vi - At least the weather is nice.

The gang took a deep breath as they were all tired,

I - I can't wait to go home.
All (except few) - Me too.

Among the gang were three of them who didn't feel the same way about going home as they were not sure as to what home meant to them anymore. Sid looks sorrowfully at Utkarsh who stares angrily at Sid while Siyali continued to look at her plate wondering where she would be going after school.

After washing the hands, the girls leaves to go inside the school building when Angela spots Dishant few feet away from the hand wash area, waving his hand,

A - Tum log ja'o. I'll just....

The girls nod their head and leave Angela who walks up to Dishant with a smile,

A - What's up?
Dish - This.

Dishant brings in front the gift he was hiding behind him. Angela takes it and,

A (playful) - Aaj mera birthday nahi hai. Christmas nahi hai. I didn't know people gift on independence day.
Dish (laughs) - Just open it.

Angela opens the gift to find a pretty leather journal. She opens the journal to find a drawing of her holding a fire extinguisher in the first page and in the next page, Drawingof her along with her friends like incidents,

A (excited) - Is this my story?

Angela asked him excitedly as she was reminded of the gift they had given to Aditya sir which was similiar to the one she got except that hers was filed only for few pages,

Dish - Haan. Thodi bohat. Baaki tumhe khud fill karna hai. You like writing, right? So I couldn't find a more better thank you gift than this?
A (surprised) - Thank you gift?
Dish - For helping me.

A surprised Angela started feeling a little awkward which Dishant understood,

Dish - I know what you're thinking. Agar sach mein help kiya hota toh baath suicide tak nahi jaata. Right?

Angela looked at Dishant with a serious look on her face as it was exactly what she felt ever since she found out Dishant was the one who was writing her letters feeling depressed. When he sent her little drawings along with the letters as thank you, she felt that she helped him out but in reality, she didn't
