[Flash back]

Siyali was on her way to defence class when few late students dashed into the receptionist who was carrying a box full of papers. The students shouting Sorry just ran away without helping the receptionist pick up the papers. Annoyed, the receptionist starts picking up and Siyali offers to helps,

Rec - Shreya! No need for all this. Class ke liye late nahi ho raha hai?

Si - That's okay. Gautam ki hi class hai. He won't mind.

Rec - Then I would love some help.

Siyali smiles and starts picking the papers. As she walked by, she saw her name on one of the paper that was under some other paper. The part she could see was a table which had her name under the topic "CHILD" and then lots of data. She sits down on one knee and takes the paper from under the papers. It was paper folded in three parts. The middle part had data which she couldn't understand. The second column had her name below the heading "CHILD" and the third column has the topic "Alleged Father" under which the name printed was "Prathick Rajput". It seemed like a DNA test report.

Totally in shock and shivering, she pulls the third part of the paper which stated

"Confirm parent. Prathick Rajput and Siyali Rajput are related"

Huh!! Siyali breathed out through her mouth. Her hands were shivering. She was about to open the top one third of the report when the receiptionist pulled it right off her hand and put in inside the box without even seeing it.

Rec - Sorry! Official document. You can't read it. Even I'm not supposed to read it. Just shred.

Siyali gives a faint smile and gathers the rest of the papers. She stands up but couldn't find ground as she was about to collapse. The receptionist held her straight, took the papers from her hand, thanked her and left.

Siyali leaned on the corridor and in front of her came faces of Urmila ma'am, Gautam, Utkarsh and all others who were against their relationship. Was this why they were against it? Because Sid and her were related. Now the Rajput surname seemed to make more sense. And finally she remembered Sid breaking her heart in Semester one and later being miserable after it. Did he know too? And yet he was pursuing her? She was disgusted about the thought. She rushed to the bathroom as her body couldn't take it and vomited thinking if of all the possibilities.

Few minutes later, she got up, flushed the toilet, goggled her mouth and looked at herself on the mirror.

[Flash back ends]

Back in the present, as Sid screamed and shouted for answers, Siyali's hands were still tightened and she looked at him without any word of reply.

S (shouts) - Why aren't you saying anything?

Si (robotic) - Because I have nothing to say to you!

S (stern) - Aakri baar pooch raha hoon Siyali. Agar ab tum jawaab nahi dhogey, I promise you this is the last time you'll see the person who loved you.

Si - Sid?

<Music starts - Zara si Dosti (Happy bhaag jayegi)>

                             Siyali looks directly into Sid's eyes,

Si (emotional, but strong) - Some relationship, like ours, are never meant to be.

Zara si dosti kar le

zara sa humnasheen ban ja

                          Sid nods his head that he understood and with an unhappy smile walks backwards as Siyali watches him leave her for good this time.

Music

She remembered Gautam's words "There are lots of things that you don't know."

Si (robotic) - I guess there are a lot of things I don't know.

sau khwaab hain, ik zindagi

kaise chune kya chahiye

shaayad teri haan na mile

phir bhi humein teri na chahiye

                          Sid was sitting on his bed and thinking about the first time he had told her his feelings. How he promised her that he would hold her hand and never let go. And the second time he proposed to her in the bathroom. He remembers how he didn't get an answer both the times but this time he got a clear cut NO from her and remembers the look on her face when she said they were not meant to be.

tu hi safar, tu raasta

tu hi kaarwaan, 

kaise chaloon main tere bina

                         He takes his empty suit case and starts putting things that reminded him of her among the stuff were the ring, his jacket and finally he looked at the photo frame of the kid Sid and Siyali for few seconds. After which he angrily took it and threw it inside the suitcase that he kept away.

zara si dosti kar le

zara sa humnasheen ban ja

zara sa saath de bas

phir chaahe ajnabi ban ja. (x2)

                        Around midnight, Siyali was sitting on the parapet of the corridor near the girl's dorm in her night clothes with her back leaning on the pillar and one leg extended and other folded horizontally. She remembered when she was angry with Sid for lying about Vidurshi and throwing stones at him. She also remembers having a midnight stroll in the corridor with Sid. And the earthquake where Sid had picked her up coz she couldn't walk and how she was telling him to let her down. And finally how she strongly told Sid that he would never have the privilege of seeing tears in her eyes.

                      In some distant dream, Sid and Siyali dance on a dark and dim lit stage wearing the costume they wore on their last dance (Alvida) for the drama. The two didn't have smile on their face but only stared at each other with angst. And once done, the two stared at each other before walking away.

Saturday early in the morning, Shreya was called to the office immediately as she had a visitor. Siyali rushed tensedly,

Si (tensed) - Who's come for me?

Rec - Tumharey Paapa!

Si (scared, tensed) - Paapa!!? Mere paapa yahan kaise aah saktey hai. Nahi!! He can't be here.

Siyali looked at the receptionist with big questioning eyes when she heard a voice call out for her,

ShDad - Shreya?

Siyali turned to find Shreya's Dad stand near the door.

Si (releived) - Paapa!

She took a long breathe to calm down and smiled. Ever since she got to know the truth about her father being Prathick Rajput, she was a little jumpy that she had totally forgotten about Shreya having a father who was technically her father as of records.

The two of them take a stroll by the ground,

Si - Yahan aana kaise hua?

ShDad (cutely) - Kyun? Aaney ke liye mujhe koi reason chahiye kya?

Si - Nahi.

Siyali said smiling which he responded with another smile. The two sit on a bench by the grass,

ShDad - So, how's life?

Si - It's going good.

ShDad - Good! (Serious note) Gautam called. Yesterday night.

The smile on Siyali's face vanished,

ShDad - You want to be Shreya?

Siyali turned to look at Shreya's Father who has a serious expression on his face too. She felt she had said something she shouldn't have told and probably hurt Gautam and Shreya's Father.
