Episode 155 - The wolf in sheep's clothing

G (shock) - Sid is on your side? What do you mean?

Gautam got up from his chair and looked at Anwesha ma'am with the most shocking expression.

AMaam - Don't be shocked. It doesn't mean what you think it means. To understand this, it's important you understand Sid's childhood. (Pauses) Urmila worked hard day and night, trying to make Sid strong, tough, independent, fearless. Usney Sid ko training zaroor di, par pyaar nahi. And after all, what a child needs more than anything else is love and affection which he got from me. This was our little secret. She trained him to be on her side and I loved him to be on mine. As you can see, whose side Sid was on was essentially for the future of the Rajput empire. Sid loved me more but he loved Urmila too. And so It was hard to bring him completely to my side. And so began the tug off war between me and Urmila. And then came my Trump card, Siyali.

Gautam listened to her carefully to see where this was going,

AMaam - Siyali was presumed dead for over a decade and so, Warrior High passed on to her guardian, me. Main aur Urmila dhono jaantey tey ki agar Siyali zinda hai toh Warrior High aur aadha sey zyaada business usko jaa'ega. Why? Because of our business structure, which you don't want to get into. By now, you understand how big a part Warrior High plays in this story.

Gautam rolled his eyes right and left as he nodded looking away from Anwesha ma'am,

AMaam - And that's where things started to change. Urmila ko laga ki Siyali ka yahan hona uskey liye ek threat tha. And so she started pushing Sid away from Siyali. And I......started to push him towards Siyali. His love for Siyali started causing him hate for Urmila. And I wasn't going to let that go, was I? (Smiles) Par farewell ki 2 din pehley, a threat raised. And to bury that away, I had to bury Siyali. School ki andhar ussey maar nahi sakti, it's suspicious. Par bahar jaaney ka intizaar bhi nahi kar sakti. That would be too late. And so, we planned the kidnap. Rules ki against, School sey bhaag ne ke wajase, Kidnap and Killed. Aur Sid ke seva, aur kaun ussey bahar laa sakta hai? (Smiles evily) You've known Siyali for what, 5 months and you think you can get into her head. I've known Sid for his entire life, and you think I can't? Haan. Urmila ko frame karney ka mere plan nahi tha. It was always fun to watch her suffer in front of my eyes. Mujhe hurt karney ki iradey sey, Urmila ki case close karana, ussi ke liye musibath ban gaya. Sid would never forgive her. Sab kuch set. Beech mein jab Siyali, Shreya bankey aayi thi, thoda confusion tha. But then you met me with (laughing) the most bizzare theory about Urmila trying to kill Siyali. Par tumhari evidence sey kuch information mila aur yeh patha chala ki farewell ke pehley waala threat ke wajah.... Urmila thi. She was trying to bring me down... Bring down the entire Rajput empire.

Anwesha ma'am's eyes turned red in anger and her face started turning scary that anyone who saw it would never want to be on her bad side,

AMaam (angry) - Remember what I told you Gautam. Even if the person weakening you is family, they need to be weeded out. Urmila dug her own grave.....and Siyali's. The two of them were hurting me, hurting my family.... And they had to be put down. One shot... Two birds.

Gautam stared at Anwesha ma'am with the corner of his unflinching eyes trying to process information.

AMaam - Does this answer your questions, Gautam?

Anwesha ma'am calmly asked trying to bring Gautam back to his sense,

G (sqeauky) - Huh? (Rectifies his voice) Hmm. Haan. (Stammering) Par. Yeh kuch zyaada nahi hua? Filmy plot lag raha hai. Itney sab kuch karney ki kya zaroorat thi?

Gautam stammered as he adjusted his collar as he was feeling choked when thoughts suddenly hit him like a hammer.

G (trying to make sense) - Ek baath katak rahi hai. Urmila ma'am was pushing Sid away from Siyali. That makes sense. But why were you trying to push them together when you consider her bane to your existence?

Anwesha ma'am straightened and looking down, laughs without making any sounds as Gautam was sorting out his confusion. She looks up at him and,

AMaam - Plot twist!

She said to bring his attention towards her,

AMaam - Iss kahani ke shurwat tab hui thi jab Prathick aur Shivani ney ek dhoosrey se shaadi karney ke liye inkaar ki. If those two got married back then, Transfer of property through marriage and none of this would've happened.
G (disgusted) - That's like trying to sell your son for money.
AMaam - It's simple business. Mergers and Acquisitions.

Gautam gives a annoyed look in disbelief as to how the person he thought was the Fairy god mother turned into the evil step mother.

G (disbelief, shouting) - And now you want that to happen? Siyali and Sid?
AMaam - Exactly. That was the plan from the very beginning. Fates were on our side that they fell in love. After the whole Shreya drama, Siyali started acting out like she would never even come near the son of her killer. And so, she was of no use to me. But then, her luck, she survived and my luck, she's still in love with Sid.

Anwesha ma'am told remembering how Siyali danced with Sid during Independence day,

AMaam - When such a big crisis can't break them apart, nothing can. (Smiles) Don't you think? (Pauses) So I can stop worrying about my school and you can stop worrying about her safety.
G (stammering in shock) - Ek min! Wait a minute. What!

Gautam reacted out loud as he realised the meaning of the last few sentences. Angrily, Gautam starts to question,

G - You want Sid and Siyali to get married.
AMaam (nods)
G - Matlab, you had no intention on sending her away with me?
AMaam (nods)

Gautam laughs angrily trying to understand the situation, feeling decieved,

G (angry) - You do know that this means the Deal is off right?
AMaam - The deal was never on in the first place.
G (shouts) - Then why the hell did you tell me all this? I could just expose you.

Gautam shouted pointing his index finger on the ground. Anwesha ma'am, calmly walks from Gautam's right side to stand closely, right in front of him and,

AMaam - Dead men tell no tales, Gautam!

She said with a malicious smile as Gautam stood with furrowed brows as he felt fear in his spine. He heard the door behind him open. He turned to see Anwesha ma'am's PA lock the door after he walked in.

AMaam - One last chance to rectify your mistakes, Pradeep.

Anwesha ma'am warned after his past two attempts to Siyali has failed while the PA stared at Gautam with murderous eyes.

G (persuading) - I don't think you want actual blood in your hands, man.
PA - You talk as if this is the first.
G (surprised) - What?

Gautam turns back to Anwesha ma'am for explanation,

AMaam - Don't you know Gautam, Every empire is built on spilled blood.

Gautam's eyes clouded as he saw no way out of this. In his last few moments, he looked at Anwesha ma'am with the feeling of betray in his eyes and,

G - You did kill those kidnappers. I should've known.

Anwesha ma'am smiled not feeling sorry,

G (changes tone) - Wait. I did know.

Gautam straightened and the fear in his eyes disappeared smoothly just as a confident smile appeared on his face,

G (sly) - Aapney suna toh hoga. "Jaise karni"

He takes his phone out of his pocket,

G - "Waise marni"

He brings the phone in front of her face showing Anwesha ma'am a mirror image of herself on the phone screen with comments popping up on the side. Anwesha ma'am widened her eyes in shock as she looked at the screen and at Gautam,

G - Ah! You should probably see this too.

Gautam walked to the desk where the remote was places and switched on the wall mount TV in the room, playing the news channel.

As the screen zoomes into the TV with breaking news "Shocking Confession", it is also known that this was simultaneously broadcasted to the students having classes, the school's social network sites and of course, News. As he hears the sound of the police siren, Gautam walks close to Anwesha ma'am and,

G - Check. Your turn. (Referring to Chess)

He said as he knew that this wasn't the end of the game but the beginning of a very long legal battle.
