During the Life lesson classes, the students were seen standing in lines and practicing self defense moves. While this was happening, there were few standing behind and whispering,

C (lamenting) - Aaj ka toh teek tha. Par kal? Kya hoga?

L (irritated) - Aur dekho. Maths exam pehley yeh life lesson zaroori hai kya? Yeh sab ke beech mein padoonga kab?

A - Padkey kaunsa centum laaney waala hai tu?

L - Tu na apna muh bandh hi rak. Commerce hi toh hai tu. Main agar commerce main tha toh saarey subjects mein 100/ 100.

Angela stared at him as they did the exercises.

P - Kuch bhi easy ya difficult nahi hota hai. Sab kuch karney waaley pe depend karta hai.

All of them nod their head to Parth's line. Rohan looks at Parth and smiles as he too accepted Parth's view.

P - Science mein itni hi problem hai toh liya kyun?

L (in a funny tone) - Kya kareen. Kiski naseeb mein kya likha hai wahi milta hai.

As he turns back and smiles hearing Lucky, he looks at Vidurshi was looking at constantly with a smile. Even though she was doing all her exercises, but her head was turned towards Rohan and her full concentration was on him. As both of them were looking at each other, Vidurshi stepped on Angela's foot and almost tripped.

Ro - Yeh.

A - Kya kar rahi hai Vidurshi?

Vi - Sorry.

As all the students turn towards the sound, Shreya also does and her sight falls on Sid who winks at her with a smile. But she rudely turns away and doesn't even smile which confused Sid. Vidurshi turns and smiles at Rohan and turns back.

G - Aaj ke liye enough of working out. Thoda theory kartey hain.

All of them loosen up and sit down in a semi circle. Sid keeps looking at Shreya who didn't even look at him even when she knew that Sid was looking at her. She looked uncomfortable while Sid was deep in thoughts.

PoV "Isse kya ho gaya. Aaj smile bhi nahi kar rahi hai"

Meanwhile, Gautam started speaking,

G - Self Defense. It's all about helping you protect yourself in the time of need. Par hum yahan sirf self defense nahi life lessons seekhney aaye hai. And Life lessons are not only helping yourself but also helping others in their time of need. Par in most of the situations, hum doosron ki help kartey hi nahi. Koi accident ho ya phir koi jhagad raha ho, hum unhe help nahi kartey hain. We stand around them and just stare at what's happening. Kyun? Is it because you don't care?

A - Sir it's not like we don't care. Par as teenagers hum kuch kar nahi saktey.

P - Exactly sir. Agar hum kuch karney ki koshish kartey hai, doosrey log humhe karney nahi de tey. They say "Jab hum sab kuch nahi kar rahe hain, tum hero banney ki koshish kyun kartey ho?"

One by one all the students conveyed their opinion,

Ro - Because humhe darr hai ki unhe help karney ke chakkar mein hum khud koi problem mein pad na jaaye. We're scared for us more than we're scared for the other person.

Gautam laughed and,

G - Must say Rohan, That was the perfect reason. Most of the time, kisi aur ko help karney ke chakkar mein hum khud phas jaatey hain. That is the most important reason ki koi kissi aur ko help nahi karta hai. Example, Kissi ka accident ho gaya, humhara dil kehta rehta hai "Jao. Jaake uski help karo. Be an insaan" but nahi. Kaun help karkey police station aur hospital baar baar ghoomega? No one is that jobless. Aur saath o saath police complaint deytey waqt compaint deney waaley par hi shaq karta hai. So hum karey kya? Doosron ki help ya khud ki? what is the solution to this?

All students look at Gautam curiously,

Y (murmurs) - Yeh kehna kya chahta hai?

G - Our Indian law is one of the best. Jiskey paas saari sawaalon ka jawab hai. The more you know law, the more you know case laws; the more your able to tackle situations well. Apney aap ko defend karney ke liye law tumhe kya kuch karney detha hai. Kiss kiss problem ke liye kisko contact karna hai. Don't think I'm boring you with politics. But jaanna zaroori hai. Only then you'll be able to help yourself and others.

K - But sir, yeh sab 1 minute mein google patha karleyta hai.

G (sarcastic) - Aisi baath hai toh google sab kuch seconds mein patha lagata hai. Then why study? Kyun ki crisis mein tumhari help sirf ek insaan kar sakta hai. And that's you. So, little bit of basic law is necessary

Me - I don't think so. Jitna real life examples mainey dekha, jiskey paas paisa hota hai woh kuch bhi kar sakta hai. Even when there are 1000 evidences against you, you can still be proved innocent. Hum sabney dekha hoga "No one killed Jessica"

G - But Megha, ussi movie second half mein saach baahar aata hai and the culprit is punished. Dhere hi sahi, saach humesha saamney aata hai.

Ro - But what's the use sir, Isn't Justice delayed justice denied? Itna law jaaney ke baad bhi aap jaise lawyers case ko solve nahi kar paathey hai. Innocent logon ko madath nahi kartey hai. Then what good is it for us to learn the same law.

G - Humhari law system jo hai, it operates in a way jahan sach ko jeetney ke liye proofs ki zaroorat hai. But jhoot ko jeetney ke liye confusion hi kaafi hai. Jab tak tum jaise log jo sach jaantey hai, usse chupatey hai. Apney aap ko bachaney ke liye ya phir apney best friend ko bachaney ke liye, hum jaise log kuch nahi kar saktey hain.

As Gautam said, he stared at Rohan who seemed confused as to why Gautam was staring at him. Not like he was hiding something? Gautam looks at Shreya and looks at Rohan. Shreya turns to look at Rohan and gives a questionable look at Gautam who nods his head.

Rohan was seen sitting in the library with his math books. He was playing with his pen as he deeply pondered about something.

[Flash back]

As the students rush out from Life lesson classes, there were some inside, who were drinking water or putting on their shoes. Vidurshi starts coughing heavily. Seeing this Rohan takes his bottle to her. But before he gave, Gautam gave her another bottle. She took it and drank the water.

G - You ok?

Vi - Yes. Waise Gee, 2 din se aap kahan the!

G - Office.

Vi - Office? Saturday Sunday ko?

G - Haan. Week days mein toh personal kaam karta hoon. So week ends mein office ka kaam.

Vi - Personal? Par aapney kaha ki apkey boss ney hi yahan aapko kaam karney ke liye bheja tah. Woh personal kaise bana?

G - Umm. Right. Waise. Tumhare liye kuch le aaya hun.

Vi (excited) - Gift?

G - Haan.

As Rohan stares at what was happening, Gautam searches in his jacket pocket but is unable to find.

Vd (calls out) - Vi? Coming or not? Phir baad mein math rona ki mainey tumhe sikaya nahi.

Vi - Aayi bhaiya. Gee. Gee. Gee. Main aapse baad mein ley loongi. Padna hai. Bye.

G - Aye. Vi.

As She rushes away, she dashes into Rohan. She says "Sorry" without looking at him and leaves. He looks at her and turns towards Gautam who was also looking at Vidurshi run.

Gautam PoV "Shit. Chali gayi. Kaise bhi Rohan se sach jaana hai. Woh bhi jaldi"

He looks at Rohan ad Rohan also stares at Gautam.

[Flash back ends]

As Rohan recollects what happened tbat evening,

Rohan PoV "Yeh Gautam Vidurshi mein itna interested kyun hai? Kuch toh gadbad hai. Patha lagana padhega"
