Your POV
The airship you were on flew high, nearly touching the clouds, as it carried its cargo, the future huntsmen of the world. Many of these people were talking with each other, forging friendships that would last a lifetime.

You, however, were much more interested in your scroll.

(Y/N): "And that should be all the songs I need to make a good impression."

Looking up from your scroll, you noticed most people were looking at a news report on a holographic screen, reporting on a Faunus riot, but what caught your eye was a rather busty blonde enveloping a younger girl in a red hood in a crushing hug. The temptation to go over and introduce yourself was there but was interrupted when the news report switched over, a holographic picture of a woman in a corset and miniskirt taking its place. You had met her a few times before with Qrow, it was Glynda.

Glynda: "Good morning and welcome to Beacon."

Busty Blonde: "Who's that?"

Glynda: "I am professor Goodwitch."

Busty Blonde: "Oh." You stifled a laugh at the comment, which got you a smirk from said blonde as you merely nodded back.

Glynda kept talking but her voice faded into the background as you saw a blonde guy ran past you, clutching his stomach and mouth, clearly motion sick.

(Y/N): 'Poor guy...'

Red Riding Hood: "Eww, it's on your shoe!" You looked towards the two girls and you saw the blonde freaking out about the sick on her shoe while repeatedly saying 'gross'.

(Y/N): 'This is gonna be an interesting few years.'

You heard a few Ooo's and Ahh's from the other teens, looking out the large viewing window you saw Beacon Academy in all of its glory.

You watched as Vomit Boy shot straight out of the airship, immediately sticking his head in a bin as he spewed what he had left. Watching other teens pass him by without a second glance you sighed and walked over.

(Y/N): "You gonna be ok there bud?" You asked patting his back while grimacing as it just made him spew more.

Vomit Boy: "Y-yea... I'll be fine, just gimme me a minute..." You nodded to yourself and kept rubbing his back, until an explosion drew your attention.

(Y/N): "I'll be right back."

Walking over to the sound you saw the red riding hood girl from the airship and, what you could easily recognise as, a Schnee.

(Y/N): 'Oh joy, another one. Just when I thought I wouldn't have to deal with them anymore...' You thought to yourself annoyed.

Red Riding Hood: "I said I was sorry princess!"

(Y/N): "Actually, judging by the attitude, dress sense and the aura of entitlement she exudes, I'd say she's an heiress to the Schnee Dust Company." You interrupted the fight, taking both of the girls attention, as the Schnee started glaring at you too.

Schnee: "He-" Before she could respond a girl in a black bow caught all of your attentions, interrupting the white haired girl.

Bow girl: "That's right, Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. The same company known for its controversial workforce and questionable business partners."

The three of you turned to Weiss for her response, she only stuttered a bit before storming off, deciding she couldn't win the argument.

Red Riding Hood: "I-I'm sorry! I'll make it up to you!" She shouted the apology at the retreating Weiss, who ignored the red-tipped hair girl. She suddenly turned towards the teen in the black bow but she was already gone. In defeat she slumped to the floor and mumbled to herself. "Welcome to Beacon..."

You soon blocked the sun from above her as you looked over the younger-looking girl with crossed arms.

(Y/N): "So, you gonna pretend I don't exist?"

Ruby: "Ohmygoshno! I'm sorry, Im Ruby Rose." She said quickly, much to fast for you to understand. But you got the last part and smiled nonetheless.

(Y/N): "(Y/N)." You offered her a hand and she took it, only letting out a small eep as you pulled her up easily. That's when Vomit Boy walked over to the two of you and Ruby laughed, pointing at him.

Ruby: "Didn't you throw up on the ship?"

You, Ruby and Vomit Boy we're walking down a cobbled path, passing trees and benches, mostly just wandering aimlessly. You and Ruby were currently taking the piss out of Jaune.

Ruby: "I'm sorry but Vomit Boy was the first thing that came to mind." You and her laughed much to his annoyance.

Jaune: "Well the name's Jaune Arc, short, sweet, rolls off the tongue, ladies love it."

(Y/N): 'What is he describing there?'

Ruby: "Do they?" She asked doubtfully.

Jaune: "They will. At least, I hope they will, my mum always said- actually, never mind."

There was a brief moment of awkward silence between the three of you before Ruby broke it. Pulling out her weapon she transformed the sniper like box into a overly large, familiar looking, scythe, it was a crimson red and matched her style well.

Ruby: "Well, I got this thing."

Jaune: "Woah! Is that a scythe?" He stepped away, almost intimidated.

Ruby: "It's also a customisable, high impact, sniper rifle." She said with a proud beam of a smile

Jaune: "What?" He deadpanned.

(Y/N): "It's also a gun." Ruby looked at you with her a nod and a smile before turning back to Jaune.

Ruby: "So, what've you got?"

Jaune: "I've got this sword!" He said unsheathing a rather plain looking sword. "And this shield too." The sheathe extended creating a shield that held his symbol.

Ruby: "Ooo, so what do they do?" She asked tapping the shield causing it to grow and shrink rapidly.

Jaune started fumbling to catch the shield as it grew bigger and smaller in his hands until finally he got a grip.

Jaune: "The shield gets smaller so when I get tired of carrying it I can put it away." He laughed nervously as you raised an eyebrow.

(Y/N): "Wouldn't it weigh the same?"

Jaune: "Yea it does." He sighed defeated as he put away his equipment.

Ruby: "What about you (Y/N), got any weapons?" You smiled, running a hand through your (H/C) hair, you pulled out (W/N) from its holster and span it around in your hand once for effect.

(Y/N): "Two actually, this is (W/N) my Revolver Sword combo." Spinning it around your finger again it transformed into a sword quite seamlessly, the blade extending and handle switching position. "Both forms can use dust to power their respective uses."

You flared the blade with a little fire dust you had left inside of it, it started to glow red and you swung it a few times, a small trail of fire following it. Ruby had stars in her eyes and was almost drooling.

Ruby: "And the other?" She mumbled in awe. Spinning your sword again it returned to a revolver before you holstered it.

(Y/N): "Ah yes, my ultimate weapon, well, you'll see it when the time comes." Ruby pouted adorably.

Ruby: "Are you sure you can't tell me now?" She gave off some puppy eyes but you just stared at them, unmoved.

(Y/N): "Yes."

Ruby: "Awww." She frowned, dropping the puppy dog eyes.

Jaune: "So, where are we going?"

(Y/N): "I don't know, I was following you."

Ruby: "I was following (Y/N)..." she trailed off as you all mentally facepalmed.

Jaune: "Do you think there will be a recognisable landmark? Maybe a food court?" He asked covering his eyes from the sun as if to see better.

This made you all laugh as you all now actively tried to find the main hall.
