Pain. All you could feel was soul crushing, life destroying, pain. Burning and drowning as the same sensation. Multiple holes being ripped inside you and patched up again and again. Your whole body being obliterated and stitched back together like patchwork. Am endless torture through and through enough to drive a sane man to insanity and back again.

You shot up from your rest in a cold sweat the light from behind the curtains just enough to illuminate the room around you. Checking your phone you saw it was 6:30 AM. Deciding you weren't going to get back to sleep you put in your earbuds and played your morning music, then started your daily routine, get dressed then push-ups, sit-ups and finally breakfast.

After cooking enough pancakes to feed a horse and most likely satisfy Nora you waited for your dorm-mates to awake by reading a book. You didn't have a long wait though as you noticed Pyrrha start to awaken. Putting down your book and taking out your earbuds you waited for her to properly awake and smell the pancakes.

(Y/N): "Good morning."

Pyrrha: "Good morning."

(Y/N): "I suggest you eat some pancakes before Nora wakes up and from the way she ate yesterday you'll be lucky to have some."

Pyrrha nodded, getting up while grabbing her uniform before heading into the bathroom to change. It wasn't long till she reemerged and took her share of the pancakes and began eating.

Pyrrha: "These are excellent thank you!"

(Y/N): "I've picked up a few skills, not all of which are combat related."

Pyrrha: "Well if you fight as well as you cook I think you'd make an excellent sparring partner."

(Y/N): "And I'd like to say it about you... but you've given me no reason as of yet." The smirk was evident on your face.

Pyrrha: "Well then I'll just have to show you some day."

Before you could say anything else you both saw an orange blur rush towards the table and start devouring pancakes.

Ren: "Nora manners." To this Nora stopped picked up a knife and fork and continued to devour them, Ren just sighed.

(Y/N): "It's fine I can just make more"

Nora: "Yes!"

This was finally enough to wake Jaune he sat up slowly and groggily, but his eyes widened when he saw we were all dressed and ready.

Jaune: "What time is it?"

Ren: "8:30 AM"

Jaune: "But that's so early!" All of you including Nora looked at him.

(Y/N): "Well the early bird gets the worm, or in this case the early person gets to eat breakfast before Nora eats it all." You gestured to the empty plates and Nora who was holding her stomach in happiness.

Pyrrha: "Well I think it's good to sleep in sometimes." You looked at her eyebrow raised and she just looked to the ground.

Nora: "Now that breakfasts done..." Jaune threw his arms in the air as if to say what about me. "We should get to unpacking"

Everyone shrugged and nodded before going to their suitcases you however just sat on your sleeping bag, which piqued Pyrrha's curiosity.

Pyrrha: Aren't you going to unpack?

(Y/N): "Yea give me a sec." you held up a finger and turned your head around you a couple times before putting the finger down. "Yea I'm done."

Pyrrha: "Is that all you own?"

(Y/N): "Other than a few oddities my mentor still has yep. We always had to travel light but I guess since I'm staying here I might have a chance to spend some Lien." You held up a wallet almost bursting with Lien much to the shock of your dorm mates and amusement to yourself.

This state of shock was soon interrupted by the sound of Weiss shouting.

Weiss: "IT'S 8:55 YOU DUNCE!" Jaune opened the door just in time to see Weiss running down the hall. Piling up behind him you and the rest of JNPR watched as Team RWBY ran after Weiss.

Ruby: "To class!"

Jaune: "Class?" You all quickly started running after Team RWBY.
