"Hey, how's it going?" 

I look up from the magazine that Emu brought me before he went home the other day, which is excellent, and smile. "Hey, what's up? What brings you here so early, Kiriya? Shouldn't you be looking into what is going on out there?"

He puts his hands into his pocket and shrugs his shoulders. "Yeah, I guess I should be out there doing that, but you're my friend. You stuck here and I can't let you be all alone. Are you needing anymore water?"

"Uh...not at the moment." Parad came back and filled it up while everyone was busy. He pops in here and there to make sure I'm doing fine. "Thanks for offering to get me some though."

He nods his head. "No problem, Elk." 

"Do you want to take a quiz in this magazine? You might realize that you have a true love out there in the world some where," I offer, closing the magazine. 

"Nah, I'm not in need of love right now." He removes his hands from his pockets. "Have you told him that you're going to have to go home? I am pretty sure of it. From my calculations, you're going to have to head back once we figure out what this thing needs from you."

 "He doesn't want to talk about it until the time for it comes up. So, I haven't told him yet," I say, being honest. "But you know what? I will talk to him about it once it is time for me to. I won't keep it a secret from Emu."

I would talk to Emu about it, but he doesn't want that right now. He wants to focus on what is going on around us first. I respect that about him. He's not all business all the time and is wanting to have some pleasure first. 

"Just remember that you two have to talk about it. Also, you're lucky you were injured when Parad found out the truth. I'm sure he would have lost it if you weren't. I'm talking about letting you get infected with his virus."

"I doubt he would have the balls to do that to me," I reply, rolling my eyes. "Kiriya, he told me he loves me. I know he is mad about what happened, but he wouldn't get that mad. He would just shake me and ask why I lied. Also, probably kidnap me and dangle me in front of Emu." He's that type of crazy. 

"Did you ever bang that Bugster?" 

"No." I haven't had sex with him, but I should have seen what that was like. But I like how I am now and that is wanting sex with Emu. "Should I consider it for some experiment of yours?"

"No, don't do that."

"I wasn't really considering it. I'm into Emu." I want to marry that man, but that probably won't ever happen. 

I would marry him and then leave, but that seems rude. I can't force him to stay married to me for the rest of his life while he's alone without me. Of course, they could declare me dead but that isn't fun.

"I was just wondering if you saved yourself for your relationship with Emu. It appears that you unintentionally did so."

"Are you trying to say that I'm unappealing to most guys?" 

"No."

"Good." I was unappealing to most guys for a bit, but then they start noticing boobs. Literally that and another area they crave. "So, Kiriya, are you going to send Taiga my regards?"

"You're like one of the last few people he wants to stop by. He doesn't hate you, but he sure doesn't like you." 

"Yet he likes Jennie for some odd reason." I roll my eyes. "Just tell him to get better and get his butt back out there as soon as possible. We need him to complete this game. We are all a team you know."

He laughs. "I will be sure to let him know that you're wanting him to get better. I'm sure he'll be willing to fight alongside the others. Too bad you're not going to be doing any fighting. You're going to be watching from the sidelines."

"Thats if I can do so. Masamune will probably try harming me for betraying him completely." He's going to definitely move forward with his plans. "It isn't like I can ask him for forgive me for a lapse in judgmental."

"We're not letting you go back there," Emu's voice says. "Period."

Kiriya turns as Emu fully enters the room, looking absolutely sexy. "Hey, what brings you here?" he asks Emu, sounding happy to see him around. 

"I decided to take a little break. Hiiro gave me permission to go off and see how she's doing. He's worried about her you know," Emu responds, answering the question quickly. His eyes look into mine as a smile grows on his handsome face. "How's my girl doing?"

"You make me sound like a child." I am enjoying my time here like I used to. "To answer your question, I'm doing better. I don't feel like I got hit by a car or something now. I feel like I'm on top of the world."

"Would you like me to make sure of that? I can examine you and find out if you're telling the truth or not."

My face starts burning. "Hey, don't say that! Kiriya could get the wrong idea!"

"I already do have the wrong idea. Anyways, going to leave you two lovebirds alone. If you...uh...need to do anything, go ahead and do it real quick." 

Emu looks at Kiriya, staring at him in confusion. "Hey, it was an innocent-"

"You don't need to hide what you intend to do with her, bud," Kiriya tells him, obviously thinking we're wanting to have sex with each other right now real quick. "I'm not going to shame you for what you are into." He vanishes, leaving us alone, and I groan.

"I'm sorry for giving him the wrong idea, Elkie," Emu tells me, his eyes returning to me. "So, how are you truly feeling?"

"Um...half alive and half dead, I guess," I reply, shrugging. "I honestly can't really decide how I feel. I honestly don't get how I am supposed to describe recovering from a Kamen Rider attack without an shielding."

"Parad told me he wished he would have known you were going to do that. He would have shielded you. I honestly feel bad for him," he says, sighing a bit. "I am mad at him still, but I feel bad for him having to hurt over seeing you like that." 

"He has feelings that are probably connected to yours. I'm not surprised that you feel bad for him." It makes sense for them to be connected due to their genes being mixed with each other. "Parad isn't evil, Emu."

"I know that. He's not bad at all, but he is definitely misguided. I can't blame him for all of his actions. He doesn't know what it is like to be on the right path. He has only known Kuroto and my child mind basically, so of course he's the way he is right now."

"He needs someone to guide him." And Emu is the one who can do it. "Please give him a message that gets through his thick skull."

"How do you know if it is thick?"

I laugh. "He needs a thick one to support all his hair."

"He does have lots of hair," Emu says, agreeing completely with my point. "Yeah, anyways, do you need me to get you anything? Do you need something to eat or drink? I can always get you more magazines."

"I need you and your love." I need tons of love from him. "Kiss me."

"Kissing you isn't part of your recovery program, Elk." He steps towards the bed, chuckling, and shakes his head. "I'll kiss you, but you have to promise me that you're going to get better and not put yourself in danger."

"I can't make a promise I can't possibly keep. You know I might end up in danger again, right?" The moment I have to stop Masamune from getting to my world, I just know I'll end up in trouble. "Emu, I will do my best to be a good Elkie."

"Close enough." He shakes his head, chuckling yet again. "You're trouble."

"I'm the good kind."

He sighs a little. "True."

He leans down and places his lips against mine quickly, giving me a quick peck. Hey, I asked for a kiss! This is a kiss, but not a kiss. Big difference.

"Hey!" I exclaim, frowning. "I wanted to have some real lip action."

"You will get that once you return home. Also, you may get more if you recover quickly." He winks at me and turns away. "So, Elkie, how about I go and get you some cake? You're hungry, right?"

I'm hungry for some of him, but I don't want to seem desperate. "Yeah, cake is fine." 

"Good." 

Why can't he just make out with me down here while no one is around? I just want some of him. No, I want a lot of him. 

A/n: Here's the update! I may get another one out, but we'll have to see. Elkie is how I would feel if I had Emu for a boyfriend. I wouldn't be able to let him go :')
