"There you are!" Poppy exclaims, sounding super preppy and cheerful. "Where were you? I have been so worried about you! I was about to go into a Pipupepopanic!"

I force a smile onto my face. "Oh, I just got lost."

Did I screw up because I enjoy staring at the handsome man who happens to be our enemy and a Bugster? Why did I make up a story like that to him anyways? He might tell Kuroto about it and then Kuroto will want to know about that fake universe.

"You look upset right now, Elkie. Did something happen to you while you weren't near me?" She looks at me with her big eyes, looking super worried.

What is wrong is I made up a fictional universe to some dude who is fictional and wants me dead. "Oh, no," I lie. "Nothing."

Parad looked so good when I was with him and it always shocks me to see him up close. He isn't just perfect in magazines and on the screen, but good looking in person as well. I wonder how hot the actor is in person. He should be about as hot as Parad, right?

"Am I bothering you with my questions?"

I shake my head and frown. "No, why would you think that?"

"We need to get you back to the CR before Hiiro throws a hissy fit," she says, ignoring my question. What is up with this woman? She's like super hyper one moment and serious the next. Then she goes back to being totally hyper and random.

"I already know that she was missing, Poppy," Hiiro's voice states and I look behind her as Hiiro approaches us.

Hiiro looks so manly with his outfit. His doctor's coat moves with his body, looking super cool, and his hands are in his pocket. He looks like he is one of those handsome guys all the ladies have a crush on in animes.

"Oh, this sucks," I mutter out, looking down at my feet. I don't want him to figure out what in the world is going on. That is the last thing I need.

"Look at me when I'm about to address you, Elkie."

I look back up at Hiiro instantly, nodding my head. "Y-yes, Hiiro."

Hiiro stares into my eyes, looking cold as ever with his expressionless face. "I told you not to go out because it is dangerous. What if you would have been found by Kuroto?" he asks me, his voice staying pretty calm. He doesn't sound angry but he does sound scary.

"I'm sorry for what happened, Hiiro!" Poppy says, moving in front of me and looking straight ahead at Hiiro. "It was my idea to take her out because I wanted her to have fun." Why is she doing this for me? I can handle Hiiro Kagami on my own. Besides, I ditched her so she shouldn't do this for me.

"You shouldn't take the blame for what she has done herself. What if a Bugster would have gotten her? We would have to cure her or have her funeral."

I look down. "Well, one didn't go after me at all. I haven't even seen one approach me yet." I look back up, Poppy turning towards me as I stare at Hiiro harshly.

"You're lying about that. Did you see him? Did you see Parad?" Hiiro asks me, moving closer to me and getting right to the point. How did he see through me and my lie?

"That explains the look on her face from not too long ago!" Poppy exclaims, holding up her index finger only and sticking it out. "Did Parad threaten you, Elkie? Is that why you didn't bring it up when I asked you about what had you upset?"

"Sort of," I answer.

"Stay away from Parad," Hiiro orders. "He is very dangerous and isn't someone you should mess with. He's working with Kuroto and that means he is up to no good."

"I'm sorry that I didn't avoid him." Not really. I got a slight rush from seeing him up close and in person. One can't keep a girl or guy from admiring someone so beautiful.

"Emu is worried about you right now, Elkie." Now he's just trying to make me feel guilty for messing with Parad. Well, letting Parad mess with me.

"Oh, I see." If Emu is actually worried, I don't get why. How do I even react to a fictional character caring for my wellbeing?

"Is there a problem with the Intern and you?" Hiiro asks me, giving me a slightly questioning stare.

I shake my head quickly, forcing out a laugh. "No, I'm all good with the Intern. How about we head back to the CR now so he doesn't have to keep being so worried about me?" I suggest, forcing a smile onto my face. I have to act like I'm not going to keep seeing Parad behind their backs.

"And you're stay there this time, right?"

I nod. "I will stay there this time. I don't want to die so I'll behave," I answer, lying. Parad may be out to get me but I'm hoping that my lie will keep him interested in keeping me alive for now. Without it, he may grow bored of me and want me out of the picture.

"Good call." Hiiro turns away. "Let's go."

~.~

"So, what world are you from? You're obviously not from this one," Hiiro asks me, getting straight to the point as he slices up some cake. "I know you know all about us. Did you already know about Parad being a Bugster and a danger to your being?"

I wish we could be alone to discuss this because I would prefer not lying to another person about my actual world. However, I'm going to share the same story I did with Parad as them. It has to be consistent so no one makes any weird statements in front of Parad. I can't have him questioning me and then trying to kill me in a fit of rage.

"Yes, I do come from another world. So, I do know who you guys are already," I answer, looking down at my shoes. "I didn't mean to run into him but I just did. He came looking for me for some reason."

"And he was probably curious about you due to Kuroto wanting you. He probably approached you to see what was so interesting about you. Did he learn anything about you? If he did, tell me what you told him." Hiiro isn't giving this up so easily.

"I'm from another world that has Bugsters ruling it. I was Parad's servant there so it shocked me to see him here as your enemy. I travelled to this world in his place just in case it would have killed him. I couldn't risk him dying and not ruling that world." I have to keep this lie up.

"You expect me to believe that?" Hiiro asks.

"Well, yeah," I say, nodding. "It is the truth. How else could I have gotten here? I know about you all, right? I know what is going on here so you should believe me. I have no way of proving anything since I do not have the evidence of my world on me."

Emu looks at me in concern. "So, they tried coming here? Well, are trying to come here? We're not safe if that is the case and we have no reason to doubt her story, Hiiro."

I look down, nodding. "Yeah, sorry," I apologize. "However, I don't think they're going to come here for the time being. They have no proof if I successfully made it to another world or not. I also want to know how I was able to reach this place."

I need to actually figure out how I got here successfully. I don't know if someone from my world or this world brought me her. It certainly wasn't my wish. My life isn't that great to have a wish completely change it. I'm not Cinderella or anything special.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

"It is Taiga!" Poppy exclaims, rushing over to a remote on the table. She picks it up with her pretty hands and faces towards a screen. "I'll turn him on right now." She turns on the screen, making Taiga appear.

"Hiiro, I heard from Parad about some lady coming here from another world. He told me that she is dangerous and that I have to beat her," Taiga says, getting straight to the point. He wants Taiga to beat me up? Well, that sounds fair considering I convinced Parad I know him in the made up world.

I look at Hiiro. "He's trying to eliminate me by using Taiga? That is so cruel!"

"He is tricking you, Taiga," Hiiro tells him. "He wants to eliminate the girl for some reason but I do not know that reason. Why doesn't he want to do it directly? Is it...because she knew him in that other world?" So, Hiiro is possibly starting to believe my made up story. Perfect.

"So, she's definitely from another world?" Taiga questions.

"She appeared from the sky so she is."

"Can you prove it?" Nico?

I look at the screen as Nico places herself in front of Taiga on the monitor above us. She's just like she was on my computer screen. Also, my TV screen. I watch clips of it online with my gaming system.

"I see her! She doesn't look like she's from another world!" Nico exclaims. She smacks Taiga on the arm. "Do you see her? She's normal looking!"

"Hey, watch it!" Taiga warns Nico, staring her down. He looks back at his screen that is probably sitting not so close to his face at the moment.

I laugh. "You two are so silly!"

"Hey, we're not!" Taiga denies. "You're lucky we didn't come to get you or else you would be dead like he wants. I swear, I'm going to kill that Bugster for trying to get me to do his dirty work. If he wants you to die, he better make you die himself."

"Hey, who is she?" A voice asks, joining us in the room.

"Dad, this is Elkie," Hiiro answers, explaining my existence in the CR to his father. Well, sort of. "She's from another world and we're trying to keep her from being discovered by Kuroto."

"Another world? What?" I look at Haima as he stares at me in confusion. "Are you really from another world? You don't look it."

I nod my head. "Yes, I am from another world," I answer, being honest.

He looks around the room. "Where does she stay at? She has to sleep somewhere."

"She's been staying here the last few days," Emu tells him, answering his question. Haima looks towards Emu. "What? Is that not okay?"

"The CR isn't a comfortable place for a lady from another world. You have to put her somewhere that will be nice and safe for her elsewhere. She has to have a bed or a couch to sleep on that isn't sitting by for us doctors," Haima explains.

I sort of agree with Haima on this. It isn't the best place to stay but it is safe. However, it is uncomfortable due to me being treated like a prisoner.

"Then where should we put her, father?" Hiiro asks, picking up another piece of cake.

"She's not staying at my place," Taiga says. "I'm ending this chat now. You guys should figure out what you're doing with your problem. I'm going to stay out of this since this has nothing to do with me now. The girl is all yours and you have to protect her yourselves."

"That's right!" Nico exclaims. How lovely.

They end the chat and Haima sighs heavily. "Someone has to take her in. She's your responsibility now."

Emu raises his hand. "I'll take her in," he says, offering himself up with a smile on his boyish face. "She's going to be safe staying at my place. No one will ever suspect she is there."

Haima looks me in the eyes. "What do you think about that? Do you mind staying with him? Emu is a good person and he would never harm you, Elkie."

I look down and nod my head. "Yes, that sounds okay with me. As long as I can get a job here, I will stay with him."

"What kind of job do you want here?" Haima asks and I look back at him. "It has to be reasonable."

"I want to be someone who cleans this place up and keeps it in order. You guys will get busy at some point, I'm sure. When that happens, you're going to need someone to keep this place as tidy as possible," I answer. I have to get a job and earn some money.

"You want to get paid to clean up after us?" Hiiro asks, sounding a bit shocked.

"Yes."

"Dad, let her clean this place up so we can focus on our jobs," Hiiro commands. He's pretty bossy to his father and a bit cold to him, but I know he loves and looks up to him. "It'll make our lives easier and she does need a job. She'll eventually be able to protect herself that way."

"Fine, she can have a job here. Poppy, make sure you teach her everything she needs to know about the CR," Haima orders, bossing the cute Bugster around. "I'm going to make some tea right now. Do you want some at all, Elkie?"

"Sure, Haima," I answer.

"I'll make sure to teach her everything!" Poppy exclaims. "Wait...what about you and Emu, Hiiro? What will you guys teach her?"

"I'll have to teach her how to defend herself if I'm not there with Emu to protect her. She's going to have to learn this stuff eventually. This world isn't as safe as her world, I'm sure," Hiiro states, not even looking at me. He is busy trying to eat some cake still.

"She just needs to know for now not to go into my room," Emu states.

I gag. "No, I don't want to picture any of that!"

"Good."

I look Emu in the eyes and force a smile onto my face. "We were friends in my universe so I'm sure I can be your friend here. I promise to do what I can not to ruin your life at your house. I wouldn't want to upset you there."

"I'm sure will we become great friends here too." He grins. "Shall I take you home now?"

"Right now?" I ask. Why now?

"Wear a hat and sunglasses," Hiiro advises. "Don't look to obvious in public or else you will end up getting hurt by Parad."

"Parad is after her?" Haima asks.

"I'll fill you in on it later, father. It is a long story," Hiiro says.

"Come, I'll show you the way home after we get you covered up," Emu says, walking over to me. "Haima, cancel that tea for her."

"Alright," Haima responds, sounding a bit disappointed.

"I'll have some tea," Poppy tells him, probably trying to cheer him up.

Emu places a hand on my shoulder. "Come."

"Alright."

I guess I'm going to be living with the Genius Gamer M for the time being. Now, I just need to focus on getting home. That should be my main focus along with trying not to die by Parad's hands. I would worry about Kuroto, but he'll be busy with Emu.

A/n: Sorry for the long wait to get this chapter out but I have been working on all kinds of things and super busy! I'll get another update for this out soon along with a few other updates to other stories. The plan is to finish up the AOE stories first, bust out the first chapter of my new Kamen Rider story, and a few other things that you shouldn't worry too much about if you only read Kamen Rider stories.

I have missed Elkie a lot because she's the total opposite of writing Kara. I loved writing Kara but I do love writing for Elkie. Anyways, my other Kamen Rider Ex-Aid story will be out soon (by next year at the least) and it'll have something exciting in it (ponies). SHHH!

Anyways, sorry and thank you for waiting. I hope you all can forgive me for my slow updates but I do them slowly due to priorities. XOXO -Bri
