I stare at Sakura as she comes to a stop, hands right on her handheld gaming console, and I swallow.

This is the moment we've all been waiting for. Parad is finally going to man up and tell her about him being a Bugster. He's got this. I believe in this teleporting man child!

She looks up from the console and her eyes go over to Parad. Her lips curve upwards as her eyes sparkle, looking happy to see the creature. She's absolutely hooked by him and he just doesn't know it yet.

"Hey, Sakura," Parad says, greeting her a bit dryly. "I am glad you could come. You remember Elkie, right?"

"The engaged one, yes," she nods her head, eyes going to me. "It is a pleasure to see you again. I hope you enjoyed the gift in my bag."

"The teddy bear is really cute and we're putting it to good use. It is sitting in the living room on a table," I tell her, smiling softly. "Parad asked me to be here because he wants to tell you something important. And before you freak out, it has nothing to do with me."

"Oh, that's good to know. I was concerned that you were here to let me know that you're in a relationship with both him and Emu. I am glad that isn't the case." Sakura doesn't want to hear that it seems.

"We did have a relationship, but it wasn't meant to be. We're definitely like close friends only," I explain, turning to Parad. "Okay, this is all you now. You got this, Parad."

He stares at me, eyes going wide. "You think I do?"

"You're a confident man! You definitely have this!" I bring up my hand and smack him on the arm. "Get her, but not in the devouring way. That would be weird for me to witness. So, I'm going to step aside now and watch from the side of that tree."

"Alright then." Parad looks at Sakura. "You should sit down on the bench here. It is beautiful outside today isn't it?"

I move over to the tree as he helps Sakura sit down on the bench, already making moves. He has this. He is totally going to nail the girl. And she's not me, so that is a plus. He's making amazing progress these days.

"What is it that you wanted to tell me?" Sakura asks Parad, staring at him with her sparkly eyes. "You're not telling me that you're not wanting to come over to my house, right? I would love to game with you all alone." She is not being subtle right now. She clearly wants to sleep with him.

Parad looks away from her, unable to look her in the eyes. "It is about me, but it has nothing to do with not wanting to game with you. I want to game with you."

"I can't imagine what is wrong with you. It is obviously something that you think will offend me."

He looks back at her, looking a bit unsure of himself now. "It...it is about who I truly am."

"It can't be that bad, Parad. You can tell me anything you want to," she says, moving her hands to his.

Parad stares at her in slight shock from the action. "I am not human."

"You're not human?"

"I'm a Bugster," he admits. "You can ask her about it. I can prove to you that I'm not a human. I can teleport and was created by the Bugster Virus. My host is Emu and if he dies, I die as well. Well, not exactly like that. If he dies to my virus, I get to live for a really, really long time."

I sigh heavily. "He's going on and on..." He needs to shut up.

"I understand if you don't want me at all now," Parad says, looking away from her. "Most people hate Bugsters. I don't blame you if you do hate me. It is understandable for you to hate me for being one."

"I don't care," Sakura states.

He looks back at her, mouth hanging open. "What?"

"I don't care that you're one. I don't have any issues with Bugsters at all. They're people too!" She pulls him by his hands, forcing him towards her. "I already like you so much and want to get to know you better! There is nothing wrong with you at all."

I turn away and smile, my heart settling in. "Happy endings are wonderful."

"Elkie!" Jennie?

I turn my head as Jennie rushes towards me, Poppy at her side along with Kuroto, and I blink. Am I seeing things right now? I think I am seeing things right now.

"Jennie? What are you doing here with those two at your side?" I point at them, staring at them curiously. "What in the world is going on? Did something happen that I need to know about? Do I need to grab the Bugster and get to the CR?"

Jennie stops with the other two and shakes her head. "No, you don't need to do that," she tells me. "We're going to hang out with you before you get married. And don't worry, we're already working on the details of your wedding with Emu. You want it to be as soon-as-possible don't you?"

I look over at Parad as Sakura shows him something on her gaming console and I smile. He's in good hands. And since he is in good hands, that means I should be able to hang out with my other good friends.

"Hey, wait up!" Kiriya?

I look over as Bike Boy comes towards us, red jacket moving up and down as he jogs towards us. He comes to a stop and he looks at me, breathing heavily. He points at me and I blink. What now?

"Elkie, I'm going to be your ride tonight," he states. "You're going to need someone to drive you around in case you drink, right?"

I shrug my shoulders, staring at him curiously. "I guess so."

"If you drink, you need someone who isn't drinking to give you a ride around town. Since I'm a bike by nature of the Kamen Rider draw, I'll take good care of you. You won't get into trouble with me as your ride." Kiriya is making me question if this is a good idea or not right now by saying that.

"Uh..." Should I trust the bike or not?

"Put some faith in him!" Poppy exclaims. "We should all hang out and have a lot of fun. We can play my game in the CR after we hit the bar!"

Kuroto laughs. "That sounds like a good idea! We should dance after we drink a bit. Kiriya, I don't think you're going to be drinking though."

Kiriya looks at Kuroto, glaring. "Neither is Jennie. So, guess what? I'm not alone, Kuroto."

"Guys, we don't need to fight before hanging out with Elkie," Jennie says, trying to calm down everyone. "We're going to be at her side as friends. We're not going to cause her some trouble, alright?"

"It is a shame Walter can't join us," Poppy says. "He is always telling me he is busy! Of course, that hasn't been too long for him to do."

I look at Poppy as she sulks. "It'll be alright. He'll come around eventually."

She looks at me, face lighting back up. "You think so?"

I nod my head and smile. "One day, he'll come and play with you! After all, you are so adorable and light up the room you're in! Who wouldn't want to hang out with you?"

"That's the spirit!" Kiriya exclaims. "Everyone needs to have a good vibe moving forward. I won't start anymore drama with Kuroto. That is, if he's cool with it."

My eyes go to Kuroto and he looks around, staring at all us like we're the problem. Of course, he doesn't think he's trouble. He's always thinking how great he is. He's not that great though.

"Why is everyone looking at me? I'm not the problem here. I won't be starting any fights unlike someone else." He turns his head to Kiriya, glaring. "If he promises to not start any trouble with me, I'll start no trouble with him in return."

"I don't think that is how that works," I mutter out, rolling my eyes. "Whatever. You two better not right or else I'll have Emu do some serious reprogramming on you both! Now, we should hurry up and have some fun. If we don't, Hiiro will find us and make us do some work. We do not want that."

"Ew." Jennie is right on the money with that reaction there. "Work is for losers right now. We're off, so we're not losers."

"So true," Poppy responds, giggling. "Oh, should we invite you know who?"

"The Bugster is busy making the flirts," I state, turning back to the two on the bench. "They're so cute together. I hope it works out."

"Me too!" Poppy exclaims. "He's a good kid."

"Well, let's head out now," Kuroto says. "We do not want to be here all day long."

Right.

~.~

I stumble back into my living room of my house I share with my man, Emu, and turn on the light. I turn to the door and Kiriya stares at me, looking a bit confused. I bring up my hand and wave, staring at him as he stands there.

"What is it?" he asks.

"You have to go before Emu thinks I am trying to hook up with you." I lean forward, staring him in the eyes. "And we all know that I rather hook up with my own hand before I hook up with you. Now, if you don't mind me..." I turn away from him. "I am going to find my man!"

"Well, don't forget to lock the door behind you. You don't want anyone to break in."

I turn back to him. "The only thing breaking in here is that Bugster. I swear, he teleports in at the wrong time all the time. Let's hope he doesn't land in our bed."

"Yeah, let's hope he doesn't ruin the sexy time you will have with Emu. It is a shame when that happens isn't it? It isn't like you could just have it another time when there isn't a Bugster."

"Do you think he won't come home tonight? Sakura should be keeping him busy don't you think?" I ask Kiriya, staring at him curiously.

He raises an eyebrow. "What do I think about it? I think he's definitely going to get laid. Did you see how close those two were on the bench? They were starting to get a bit too passionate about video games on that bench."

I nod my head and turn back away from him. "You're right..."

"You seem a bit too wasted. Saiko shouldn't have joined us," Kiriya says. "She was getting really wasted as well. Who knew she could party hard?"

"Not me." I turn back to him again and push on him. "Go away before someone thinks I'm wanting to sleep with you!" He's so hard to push!

"Elkie, I hate to break it to you, you're extremely drunk right now. You're going to be in so much trouble once Hiiro gets to you." Kiriya is not wrong right now. I wonder where in the world my true love is?

"Hey, I see that you brought my girl back," Emu's voice says and I turn, removing my hands from Kiriya.

"Emu!" I exclaim, putting an arm up in the air. "I love you so much!"

"Yeah, I can tell since you agreed to be all mine." He moves towards us, hands in his pockets. "Did she cause any trouble?" He stops, staring at Kiriya.

"She wasn't trouble."

I put my arm down and pout. "Trouble? Do you think I'm naughty?"

"When you're drunk, you can be." He looks at me. "Come to bed now. Kiriya, I'll handle the door. You should get home before you stay up all night long."

"Take good care of her," Kiriya tells Emu.

"Will do."

Emu moves around me as Kiriya steps out, leaving. I can hear his steps. I know that he is leaving right now.

Emu shuts the door and locks it. He moves in front of me and places his arms around me. He lifts me up, holding me against his body tightly, and I gasp.

"Emu!"

"To bed we go!"

Oh, he's a little trouble maker!
