Shinso and I ate our lunch together, we got along better than I expected, which was cool. Soon lunch was over, and we were told to come back out, as I walked out, I see all the girls in class wearing... cheerleader outfits? Why?

"umm, guys... what are you doing? "I question, they look embarrassed. 

"W-Well, Mineta and Kaminari told us that Aizawa said we had to... otherwise we'd be expelled" Momo said, I looked at them, how are they that gullible?

"and you believe them? they're pervs!" I say, they look around at each other with a look of sudden realisation.

"Ahhh, how did we fall for that!" Momo growls. "We don't have enough time to change either!" she states.

"i can help." I say, pausing time and letting the girls move freely. They look around, confused, then look at me.

"I... What?" Momo stutters.

"hurry and get changed, i can't hold it like this forever, you know." I say, the girls hurry off to the change room, coming back out a few minutes later. I then un-pause time.

"Thanks, Sans, you're a life saver." Uraraka says, a 'life saver'... I wish... Memories of the underground flood into my thoughts, I couldn't save anyone... I was snapped back to reality by Tsu and the other girls looking at me concerned. 

"alright, we'd better head out." I joke, they don't notice. Well, it makes sense, it's a personal joke anyway. Less of a joke, though. We walk out onto the field to join our fellow first years, then Midnight begins to speak.

"Now, let's draw lots to determine the bracket. Once the bracket is determined, we'll have the recreational games and then start! The sixteen finalists can choose whether or not they want to participate in the recreation. I'm sure some of you want to rest or save your strength. Now, for the first place team--" Midnight announces but is cut off when Ojiro begins to speak.

"Um..! Excuse me. I'm withdrawing." Ojiro says, there are gasps heard throughout the crowd. "I barely remember anything from the cavalry battle until almost the end. I think it's that guys Quirk. I know this is a great chance and it's foolish to waste it... But-- Everyone here competed by giving their all! I can't... I can't be up there with everyone without knowing what really happened." Ojiro says, some of the people around try to reason with him. "That's not it... I'm talking about my pride here... I can't... " he finished.

"I'm Nirengeki Shoda from Class B. I also want to withdraw for the same reason. Regardless of ability, don't you think it goes against the goal of the sports festival for those who didn't do anything to move onto the final round?" Shoda stats.

"Youthful talk like that is something... I like! Shoda! Ojiro! I accept your withdrawals! In that case, we'll have to move two people from fifth place cavalry battle team..." Midnight says, I hear some chatter behind me, it's some class B students and, if I remember correctly, the people who got fifth place in the cavalry battle. One of them looks like he's about to cry. Soon it's all sorted out and Midnight continues talking. "And so, Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki have moved up to make sixteen! This is the bracket based on the results of the drawing!" Midnight yells. I look up at the board, 'I'm versing Mina, huh? This is going to be interesting.' Mic announces its time for the recreation, I teleport off the field and decide to take a nap before the final stage. (Which helps a lot in the future ;3)

Time skip (the first match)

I look at the scoreboard to see who is gonna verse who, but it turns out it's two of my best friends in this world. Izuku vs Shinso. The fight starts, and Shinso begins to speak, but I can't really hear him since I'm way too far away, Izuku then begins to run toward him and shouts something but doesn't get to finish. 'Unless Izuku can brake Shinso's control, it will be over.

"I went through all the trouble of warning him, too!" Ojiro shouts as he stands up, he told him, and he still falls for it. Shinso says something to Izuku, then Izuku turns around and walks out of bounds. Just as he's about to walk out, he moves his fingers, a gust of wind forms, most likely from Izuku it almost blows Shinso over. As the dust clears, I see Izuku standing at the boundary line, 'that's cutting it pretty close, Izuku'. I look at Shinso, he has a look of surprise on his face, but it then turns into anger. He begins to talk to Izuku, but he learnt his lesson, he covers his mouth. Izuku then turns to Shinso, who is now yelling at him but calms down and is back to talking normally. Izuku runs forward, clutching the hand with the broken fingers, he runs into Shinso and begins to push him toward the boundary line, but Shinso isn't gonna give up that easily. Shinso punches Izuku in the face then his broken fingers. Izuku flinches in pain, Shinso takes this to his advantage and shoves Izuku toward the line. He grabs Izuku by the face and is about to push him out when Izuku grabs Shinso's shirt and arm and throws Shinso over his shoulder, and slams him into the ground outside the boundary line.

"Shinso is out of bounds! Midoriya advances to round two!" Midnight yells, the crowd cheers. The rest of the class chatters. Izuku and Shinso go to the middle of the arena and bow to each other, Shinso walks off. I teleport down to Shinso and congratulate him on how well he did I then left him and went to check on Izuku.

"hey, midoriya, how are your fingers?" I question.

"They're good...Which reminds me. All Might. I had a vision... There were eight or nine people... I'm not sure exactly how many... But when it felt like my mind was filled with fog from the brainwashing, the vision appeared, as if to drive away the fog. It was like I was barely able to move just my fingertips for a moment... There was someone with eyes like you, too, All Might. Was it... the people who had inherited One For All who did it?" Izuku says, not gonna lie, but it was kinda creepy.

"Scary... What the heck?" All Might says.

"What? I thought you'd know about it!" Izuku basically yells.

"No, I also saw it before, in my younger days. It's a clear sign that you've got a better grasp on One For All." All Might explains.

"What does that mean?" Izuku questions.

"I think it's a trace of something they left behind in One For All. It's not something with intent that can interfere with you, and you can't interfere with them. In other words, that vision isn't what got rid of the brainwashing. It was that when you saw the vision, your strong emotions allowed you to overcome Young Shinso's Brainwashing for just long enough to move your fingertips, I think." All Might says.

"That explanation's not satisfying at all, though..." Izuku complains.

"Don't get too hung up about it! More importantly, don't you need to go see who you'll fight next?" All Might says, Izuku seems to have a sudden realisation and heads for the door, I follow him.

"Thank you both very much!" Izuku says.

"You're welcome." Recovery girl says back.

"Goodbye!" Izuku says as he shuts the door, and we head off. We get to the seating place for our class and sit down, I look at who will be fighting. Sero vs Todoroki, heh poor Sero. Let's see how long he'll last.

Ok, so from this point on, I'm only gonna be writing about Sans vs (someone) instead of writing every other fight, so if you want to see those, then go watch the anime. I wrote this chapter just cuz that was where it was up to, and I considered re-writing the chapter but decided it was pointless not to post it.
