"The second round of the U.A. sports festival first-year stage is... a cavalry battle with the top 42 from the qualifier! Those at the top will suffer more. You'll hear this many times as you attend U.A. This is what 'Plus Ultra' means! Sans Gaster, who placed first in the qualifier, is worth ten million points!" Midnight yells, I freeze. I'm the main target... they will all be after me... this round will be tough. "Now then, I will explain the rules of the cavalry battle. The time limit is fifteen minutes. Each team is worth the total of its members' points, and the rider will wear a headband with that number on their forehead. Teams will try grab each other's headbands until time runs out, and try to keep as many points as they can. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them! And the most important thing is that even if your headband gets stolen, or if your team falls, you're not out! During the game, it'll be a cruel fight where you can use your Quirks. But it is still a cavalry battle. You'll get a red card for attacks that are trying to make people fall on purpose! You'll be removed immediately! Now, you have fifteen minutes to build your teams. Start!" Midnight yells. I look around to see anyone I could team up with, Izuku and I lock eye contact, he shakes his head, presumably telling me we can't be a team. Damn it! I continue looking around and see the guy that confronted my class, it's a long shot, but I don't really have a choice.

"hey." I say, he turns around to face me.

"What?" He says, he looked like he was expecting something... weird.

"could I partner up with you?" I say.

"What's your defence and offensive ability like?" He questions, 'is he actually considering it?'

"pretty good." I say.

"what's your quirk?" I ask. I tell him about my Quirk's offensive and defensive abilities, he looks at me with a smile. 

"Alright, we better get more people on our team." He says, I nod and follow him. Soon we had our team and a plan together, Shinso is the rider, I am at the front, Ojiro and a guy from class B called Shoda were on the sides, but they seemed kinda off. As though they were being controlled. I look up at Shinso when something comes to my mind.

"hey shinso?" I ask, he looks at me.

"Yeah?" he answers.

"i told you about my quirk, but you haven't told me about yours." I say.

"Hmm, well, may as well tell you." he says, I nod. "My Quirk gives me the ability to control people, all I have to do is ask them a question, and if they answer, then, I can control them." He explains, I look back at the others, they are obviously being controlled.

"why are you controlling them and not me?" I question.

"Well, you seem to be immune... Somehow, I'm not sure how,  though." He answers, I nod. Looking up at the timer, I see we have one minute left.

"we should probably get into position." I say, he nods, and we get into our place. The timer hits zero, and a horn blows.
"Now then, it's about time to get started!" Midnight yells, Present Mic begins to speak, but I don't bother to listen. All together, my team ended up with 10000290 points, 'this is gonna be tough, 'I think to myself.

"Start!" Midnight yells, Immediately followed by battle cries. Everyone was running toward us.

"hold on!" I yell to my team, I summon a bone out of the ground right underneath us, which sends us flying upward. Then I summon a G.blaster which we land on, we fly across the field, other teams are throwing and shooting projectiles but eventually give up. As we fly I hear an explosion behind us.

"Get back here, you bastard!" Bakugo yells, I give him a smile.

"i hope your team catches you, for your sake." I say, he gives me a confused look. I grab his soul and throw him toward the ground, luckily, his team catches him, and he begins to yell and scream. I chuckle, he really does have a short temper. I look around the field to see Izuku and his team flying around and avoiding people, but he didn't seem to be aiming for us, which is good. I continue to look around and lock eye contact with Todoroki, he gives me a cold glare. He then shoots an ice wall toward us, which I easily dodge. This continues until Bakugo attacks Todoroki, I look at the timer, one minute to go. Almost over, I look around to see Izuku running toward Bakugo and Todoroki. It seems they haven't noticed him, Izuku runs through the middle of their fight and grabs a headband from both of them. Bakugo screams in rage and flings himself toward Izuku, Todoroki Also charges at him. But before either of them could get close enough, the timer went off. Bakugo ends up faceplanting on the floor while Todoroki glares at Izuku.

"Now, let's take a look at the top four teams right away! In first place, Team Shinso! In second place, Team Bakugo! In third place, Team Todoroki! In fourth place, Team Midoriya! These four teams... will advance... to the final round! Now we'll take an hour's break for lunch before we start the afternoon festivities! See ya!" Present Mic announces through the speaker, we begin to head off to lunch.

"Hey Sans." Says Shinso.

"yeah?" I ask.

"you want to eat together?" He asks, I smile.

"sure." I answer as we begin to walk to the lunch area.

Hey guys hope you enjoyed the chapter, sorry I that I haven't posted a new part of the story for a while. I actually did write the chapter on Sunday, but it didn't save, I was so sad and lost my inspiration for a few days, but it's back now, so expect chapters! I also have to keep up with my school work since it's basically the middle of the term, and that's when assignments tend to pile up, so expect chapters, just not every day.
