Confrontation

"We need to talk, Sans." Aizawa says in a serious tone. I knew this tone, this tone meant he was looking for answers. Most of the time, he got them. Alright, we can find a way around this, we just need to steer the subject in another direction.

"about what? is it about eri? is she okay?" I ask, Aizawa nods.

"She's doing well, but I'm not here to talk about her, I'm here to talk about you." Aizawa says, I feel sweat form on my brow. The room falls silent since I didn't really know how to answer, he sighs and continues. "I've let it sit for a while now, when we first met, you were very reluctant to say anything. Then clues appeared, I tried to dig a little, but I hadn't gotten any proper answers. You always avoid giving information, and when you do have to give it, you give the smallest amount you can." Aizawa continues, I glance away dismissively, but he continues.

"where do you wanna start?" I say, I just need to play along until I can distract him.

"The villain, Frisk, how do you know them?" Aizawa asks, I sigh.

"they killed my brother." I say.

"Why'd they do it?" Aizawa asked, I speed through my thoughts, trying to find a believable story.

"hell if i know, my best guess is that they had power and decided to abuse it." I say with a shrug, Aizawa eyes me suspiciously.

"When did it happen?" He asks.

"a little before you found me, it's a bit blurry." I say.

"Where were your parent?" Aizawa questions, I shrug. "Where were you?" Aizawa questions, I feel myself tense.

"i-" I pause and think. "the hall." I mutter, Aizawa nods.

"What's your brother's name? How old was he?" Aizawa asks.

"papyrus, he's a few years younger than me." I smile slightly. "he was always trying to help people, trying to be a hero. even if... he risked his life for it." My smile fades. "he's actually the main reason i decided to attend ua, since he couldn't, i did it for him." I mutter, getting lost in my thoughts.

"He sounds like a good kid." Aizawa says, I nod. We sit in silence for about a minute. "What happened in class earlier?"

"it was just really loud, and i had a migraine." I say.

"What about your eye?" He asks, glancing over at him in confusion.

"what about my eye?" I ask, he raises an eyebrow.

"It was purple, I thought it only glowed blue?" He says, I stare at him.

"they do only glow blue." I mutter. "maybe it was a trick of the light?" I say, I knew that it wasn't the answer.

"I doubt it, maybe it's another part of your Quirk?" Aizawa ponders.

"knowing my luck, it's a possibility." I say, a memory from the USJ incident floating to the front of my thoughts. "during the usj, i teleported in the way to save midoriya..." I mutter as I tap my chin. "but it was different. it had to have been, i couldn't teleport thanks to that kurogiri guy, but i did." I think for a few more seconds trying to remember what was different.

...

...

...

Red. It was red, that's what was different! But what could that mean? DT perhaps? No, my DT is too weak to use in that way. Isn't it?

"Maybe it's like a power up? Like adrenalin but for your Quirk?" Aizawa says, I shrug. "On the subject of unknown Quirks, what was Kaminari talking about?"

"what?" I ask.

"Something Dings?" Aizawa says, trying to remember the name.

"ohhh, you mean wingdings." I say, Aizawa nods.

"What does it do?" He asks.

"it's nothing much, just a dominant quirk gene in my family. it's just a language that only we can understand, besides the written and signed version." I say.

"Why can't anyone else speak it?"

"Cuz humans can't pronounce the necessary sounds for it and the fact that you don't need to speak to understand it. The Quirk isn't actually where the Language came from. The Quirk is split into two main parts, the first part is that we can make weird sounds, and the second part is that we can see speech bubbles."

Aizawa seems to be trying to prosses what I said. I sigh.

"👎︎⚐︎☜︎💧︎ ❄︎☟︎✋︎💧︎ ☜︎✠︎🏱︎☹︎✌︎✋︎☠︎ ✋︎❄︎✍︎" I say while doing the signs to match, Aizawa's face showed a small amount of understanding and an infinitely larger amount of confusion to replace it. "yeah, guess not." I mutter.

"Alright then." Aizawa says, dragging out his words. I glance out the window,

"jez, it's late." I mutter.

"Right, but we're not done." Aizawa says, damn it, I thought I'd gotten him.

"what else do you need to know?" I ask.

"How are you doing?" He asks, that's kinda random.

"fine? why?" I answer.

"You're not, I've noticed it gradually increase since you started attending UA." Aizawa says.

"what do you mean?"  I question.

"I talked to Mirio and Nighteye, they both mentioned how much you seemed to blame yourself." Aizawa says. "You saved lives, you did what you were supposed to do, so why the blame?" Aizawa says, I sigh.

"i could've done more." I mutter, Aizawa grabs my shoulders and makes me face him.

"You succeeded your mission, there weren't any casualties, and Mirio's Quirk will be brought back." Aizawa says.

"there weren't any casualties this time, what if it happens again? if they reset, we'll have to do it all again! just like before!" I say, slightly angered.

"Reset?" I pause, I feel myself grow pale. I slipped up again. "I've heard you say it before, what does it mean?" Aizawa asks.

"it's nothing." I say, standing up. I subconsciously begin to pace around the room.

"Sans."

"..."

"Sans. Tell me what's going on, what are you hiding?" Aizawa says, standing up.

"you won't understand." I mutter, all my thought are blurring together as fear consumes me.

"I will, I promise I will." Aizawa pleads.

"no." I deadpan.

"Sans."

My heart feels like it's about to climb out of my throat, the searing heat from my left eye isn't helping either. I begin to pull at my hair.

"Sans, you need to calm down." Aizawa says, grabbing my shoulder. I realize I'm hyperventilating. I stop, trying to decide what to say. What can I do to escape this situation? Nothing... Nothing except...

"this isn't my world."
