A few hours later,It was almost midnight and aunt paloma had called Damien and Mace's phone several times but they deliberately didn't answer not knowing what to say to her about me and my current situation..

The Doctors were leaving one by one and finally Doctor Rey came out and requested that Mace and the rest should go home and have some sleep..

At first they were all reluctant but Garry nodded in consideration and decided to take Jenila home as well..Damien sat next to Mace who was completely numb due to the shock of how he saw me react..then he tried to make Mace laugh by telling him about our childhood memories and he managed to chuckle a bit still feeling sad..

Mace:I could have saved her..I could have caught her in my arms..

Damien became teary eyed seeing Mace in that vulnerable condition..he felt his brother's pain and he instantly hugged him and they remained that way for some minutes..

Damien wiped his tears and requested Mace to go home and have some sleep but Mace disagreed.He told Damien that he wanted to stay with me and Damien agreed and patted him on the shoulder before leaving..

A few moments later,I opened my eyes abruptly once again and sat erectly..then I saw my bandaged head in the silver wheeled table and I smirked.I came up with a plan and decided to leave the hospital..

I put my dress back on and carried my bag and slowly opened the door and I immediately saw Mace who was fast asleep..I thought to myself that it may have been the perfect opportunity to suffocate him but I got rid of the idea..I walked towards him and squatted to look at him..

I smirked as I caressed his face..he really looked like an angel fast asleep..I got back on my feet and walked away..

(A while later..

I reached home and aunt paloma immediately rushed to me and hugged me telling me that she was extremely worried about me..but I just looked at her blankly and walked to my room and locked the door...

I started feeling pain in my head and decided to remove the bandage and then take a look at the injury..

I saw that the Doctors had sealed the crack with a surgical glue but the scar was still very evident and it was stitched a bit to avoid it from opening up again easily..

I laughed maniacally at myself knowing the risk I took just for the downfall of Armando..

Due to my hard laughter,I had a splitting migraine and I stood up and tried to look for my bed in a blurry vision..I ended up knocking down some things and I laughed once again before finally falling face first on my bed and blacked out instantly with my arms and legs spread out..

(Next day..

I reached the office and came out of my car and everyone was shocked to see me earlier than they had heard and thought..I walked through the main hall and went straight to my office..

Mace's messenger ran to him in his office and told him that I had come to the office and Mace widened his eyes in shock then he decided to come out to see for himself..

I got a message on my phone that there was press in the main hall waiting for me and I instantly knew that they had seen me come in the office..

As I stood up and walked out,I came across Mace that was shocked to see me but before he could speak I walked past him and went to the main hall and everyone gathered there to see.

Press 1:Miss Delvon..You have recovered from your accident and we also heard that you were a witness to the incident involving Mr James so can you tell us in detail about what really happened..

I nodded and told the press that Armando was supposed to give Mr James his last salary and as well give him some contribution money as well but he failed to do so and kept him on voicemail till the incident had occurred..Then I also told them that Lewis had been conspiring against the De la cruz company for a long time because of jealousy and I told them that I had witnessed Lewis's true nature when I was working in Lewis prime company..Then I revealed to them that Lewis had used Britney to execute his plan to get Armando's attention and when he would come and confront him in his office he would be attacked and he will then blame Armando for it..

I also revealed to them that during my accident..Armando didn't budge until he was called heartless and cruel by a group of press..and all of a sudden he came running to the scene and put on a show as if he cared and was concerned for me..I told them that being Mace's girlfriend I have figured out a lot of sketchy stuff about Armando and what they saw that day of my accident is indeed his true character...

There was a moment of silent as I finished my statement and the press clapped at my honesty and courage to defend the truth..

I turned around to go back to my office and I saw the shocked look on Garry and Jenila's face and I smiled at them as I walked past them..

I continued walking and then Mace pulled me into his office and I got pissed when I saw Damien there as well..

London:Hmm..

Damien:El?..You're standing right here...you are awake..

I narrowed my eyes at him and crossed my arms..

London:Uhuh...Yeah I'm standing right here..so..

Damien looked a bit confused and then Mace sat me down and decided to talk..

Mace:Mami you know I support you..but you know that we cannot have any interaction with the press until both matters have been discussed on a deeper level..

Damien:He's right..

I turned to Damien with a blank look on my face and then I smirked..

London:You both are delusional..I only did what's best for the company..and I told the truth so there..you got your answer..

I stood up to leave when Mace held my hand..Then I turned to him and he ran his fingers through my hair to reveal the injury and he looked at me with tears in his eyes..

Mace:It's probably the effect of the fall that's making you act a bit strange..Mami you need to go back to the hospital..

I stared at him blankly..

Mace:Doctor Rey had told me that you probably left on your own and it seems so..but mami even if you feel better you haven't recovered completely you need to go back..

Damien:El..listen to your boyfriend he's right..you need to recover fully..your accident was a very serious one..and you need medical attention to recover..

I laughed maniacally and stared at the both of them and they were shocked at the way I laughed..

London:Isn't it cute?..You guys finally agree on something..I guess blood is thicker than water..

They both looked at each other clueless and I just smirked and walked away..

Now I just have to wait until Armando gets bashed and criticized for his behaviour once again..This is Strike Four..Armando 0 - London 4..I chuckled in excitement just waiting for that moment..
