At work,I thought a lot about that number..who is the person behind that death threat..and what did I do exactly to be sent such messages..The event is in two days now and Armando de la cruz has already arrived that means I have to start monitoring his movements and get his fingerprint and face ID to unlock his office..Using Mace didn't even help as much as I'd expected probably because his Dad doesn't even tell him much about the stuff in his office which means he's definitely hiding something and I'll find out for sure..I just hope this unknown number doesn't suprise me in any way..else it would be bad..

Garry:(Knocks)..

London:Come in!..

Garry:London the business executives want to see you..they want to tell you something important..

London:Oh..

Garry:Don't worry I'll be there as well..

London:Thank you..

(A while later..

I followed Garry to the terrace where the meeting was going on and as I reached there..I saw Mace and I felt guilty all over again..When he noticed me I looked at him and smiled but he didn't smile back and broke eye contact and continued with what he was doing..Garry had noticed and asked me what was wrong..

London:It's nothing I just didn't do my work properly yesterday..

Garry:But you always do..Are you sure it's nothing else..

London:No...Well let's meet them to discuss work..

Garry:Alright..

I went to where the business executives were gathered and Mace was there as well but he ignored me completely..Then one of the business executives asked me about how much a jewelry set would cost..I didn't really think much about it so I just gave him a cheap amount and he laughed at me..Then Mace lost his mind...and told him that the price was perfect..it's not too cheap or too expensive and I felt like hugging him at that moment..Then as I wanted to thank him he ended the conversation and walked away..He was really hurt by what I said yesterday..I actually need to apologise to him..I went after him and stopped him where there was no one just the two of us..

London:Mace..please hear me out..

Mace:Ok I'm listening..

London:Look I'm sorry..I'm sorry for what I said about you yesterday..I was really mad about what you did with me that's why I said all that..Please can you forgive me..

Mace:Hmm..It's really hard London..Hearing you say that to someone else other than to my face hurt the most..so that means you didn't even want to be my friend..if it is that way you could have just said so..

London:(Internal dialogue)..What do I do to win him over..He seems really serious about this..

I thought deeply about what I could do then I realised that Mace is a sentimental person that understands emotions and that turned on a light bulb in my head..

London:(Sobs)..

Mace:London?..Why are you crying?..

London:Well..I'm a horrible person..I couldn't even keep the promise we made to each other..

Mace:No you're not horrible..Not at all..You're an amazing person..Maybe you're..

London:Someone is trying to kill me..

Mace:What..are you serious..who!..

I blurted out bella's name and Mace got furious like a volcano about to erupt and I loved his reaction..well done London..

Mace:How dare she threaten you..even after we let her go back home..she still has the nerve to threaten you..

London:I don't know what she wants from me..Maybe she's just mad that she was exposed..but we didn't even tell the police..

Mace:Don't worry..now I'm going to tell the police...because she can't threaten you for no reason..she's supposed to learn from her mistake..but it seems she's only getting worse..

London:(Snuffles)..I'm happy now you know why I said all those things..I didn't mean any of it..I was just paranoid..

Mace:Don't worry London as long as I'm here nothing will happen to you..

I hugged him tight and he hugged me back then I raised my head to look up at him and he looked at me as well..then an idea popped up in my head..I held his hand and took him to my office then I closed the door shut and I gently caressed his hair and he held my hand.

Mace:What are you doing?..

London:I would like to be your friend again..but this time your best friend..

Mace:Well this time I'm not gonna rush into it..But I'm willing to for you..

I looked deep into his eyes and placed my hand on his chest..I could feel his heart pounding hard and fast and I smiled at him before giving him a kiss on his cheek..then he held me by my waist and whispered something into my ear that sent shockwaves through my entire body..then I gave him a peck on the lips and intensified it into a steamy kiss..Then he slowly let go and put a strand of my hair that was blocking my face behind my ear before releasing me..

Mace:You're strange London..First you complain about me kissing you..and you just did so to me..

London:To be honest this happened out of impulse..I was kind of seduced by you..so I needed to extinguish the fire..

Mace:Hmm..you were seduced by me?..Oh wow..

London:Did I say that..I meant you...look really seductive..

Mace:(Smiles at London)..Forget about being my best friend..be my girlfriend London..

London:(Stares at mace in shock)...

My jaw dropped hearing his revelation and my heart pounded so hard I could explode..Did he just ask me to be his girlfriend?..My plan is totally working..This will definitely anger that arrogant man Armando de la cruz for sure..I stared at Mace for a while and then I kissed him again..

Mace:So that's a yes...

London:Hell yeah..

He looked really happy to hear that and then he gave me a big hug and then my eyes flickered to my phone and I noticed several missed calls from that unknown number and I got more worried and then I hugged Mace back to calm myself down..
