Moments later,I heard a knock on my door and I refused to answer it still feeling angry and then the door slowly opened and when I saw that it was Mace I glared at him with real hatred for the first time and he immediately noticed that there was something wrong and the change in his facial expression meant that he knew exactly why I was upset..

Then he slowly walked towards me while staring into my eyes and he seemed rather disconcerted like he wanted to explain things to me..but this time I made up my mind not to trust what he says to me anymore..HOW DARE HE LIE TO ME!..

I was beginning to trust him to the point that I wanted to give him a chance.. despite being the son of me and my family's enemy..I chose to bury that title and give him a chance..but yet again he proved me wrong..Yet again another betrayal..

I brought out my hand for him to stop and he paused while looking at me feeling embarrassed..

London:Wow..just wow..I never knew you turned out to be a solid certified professional liar..

Mace:London..I have a reason for bailing her out of jail..so just hear me out..please..

London:What do you want to say now huh!..What will you say that would convince me that you're actually telling the truth..

Mace stared at me silently as tears welled up in my eyes and then I chuckled while looking away and bit my lip gently in pain..

London:You bailing her out doesn't hurt me..it's the fact that you guaranteed me that she was going to pay for her actions and be arrested that hurts the most..Mace when you promise someone with things like this..even if the circumstances are tough you should never break them heartlessly...and that's what you just did to me..

Mace then looked down silently and I felt even more angry that maybe I was right and his reactions proved it..

London:Miguel is probably right..maybe you do want to get back together with bella..I've been the stupid one all this time right?..So feel free to do whatever you want..

Mace:That's not true..and London don't you see how Damien is deliberately trying to create a rift between us..he always snitches in my business and then tells you in a different way other than what it is..London he tried that before..during our first date..and he was wrong and I was right..how can I be in the wrong now?..

I instantly realized that I had spoken too much out of emotion and then I awkwardly changed my words..

Mace drew closer to me and looked me deep in the eyes with a hurt look..and it hurt me to see him that way..but I resisted and walked backwards slowly and he looked at me feeling even more hurt..

Mace:Of course she doesn't work here London but my Dad wants her around here..I can't alter his decision..just like that..

London:Ok then..well I'm coming back tommorow morning to give you my resignation letter..I'm done here..

Mace stared at me emotionally and I felt so horrible but there was nothing else I could do..

I stormed out of the office when Mace caught up with me and grabbed my hand and then Jenila and Garry came looking extremely worried..

I stared at Mace feeling a little bit doubtful and then I looked behind him to see Jenila and Garry's worried and scared faces and because of Jenila's emotional and hurt look I gave in..after all she's my best friend and I've hurt her enough so if I agree to stay here it's because of her..no one else..

I stretched out my palm to Mace for him to put his hand on top of it to promise me and he did..and I looked to see Jenila's happy expression and it made my heart melt..

Then Damien came with some business executives and noticed us and his facial expression became a little bit annoyed and to be honest I didn't care..

I just wanted to find out if Mace was telling the truth..and for what Armando has done to the both of us..he's going to pay..for trying to ruin my fake relationship with Mace..I'll snatch everything away from him with the blink of an eye..he'll see!..
