I paused mid crying and looked up at the person as soon as I heard the voice...

London:Grandma?..

Stefanie:D*mn your aunt for telling you the truth about me...

London:What do you want from me now!.Just let me kill myself and join my family..I can't live like this anymore..I've suffered enough!..

Stefanie:Ok..then do it..but just know you're betraying your innocent father's last wishes..

My eyes widened with tears in them as I quickly realised that fact and I instantly turned to her...

Stefanie:If you're willing to die and break all your promises just do it then!..But just know that me and the devil won't let your soul get to your precious family...you made a deal..and until you fulfil it..you cannot die..

I stared at her in complete shock feeling infuriated and then I spoke..

London:Will you really do that to your own granddaughter?..huh Grandma..

Stefanie:(Sighs)..Ok maybe that was harsh but listen..you can't die..you saw the grief and suffering in that letter your Dad wrote for you..he wants you to give him justice..

London:And what about mom!..what about mom and my brother...aren't they equally important..Dad could have just told mom what was going on at the time..she could have helped him through it..he could have told her that Armando was saying awful things about her that she knows were not true..

Stefanie:You know the truth so why are you still blaming your father..he didn't have a choice London..he didn't know what to believe..but yeah obviously he blamed me for your mom's character..knowing my history he just saw it as a good point to why your mom will cheat on him..

London:Mom did not cheat on Dad! I know for sure!..why didn't he get Armando arrested for blackmail and..the scamming..he still wants me to carry the burden on my shoulders..

Stefanie:London you have to understand..your dad needs you to do this..it's for the sake of our family...Armando ruined it so you have to ruin his as well as payback..

London:Oh wow..so now you know what family is?..and why are you even telling me all this..you've played and tormented me for months now..so why should I even listen to you!..

Stefanie:Think about your family London..leave me out of it..do this for your family..your mom..your brother..they were both innocent..give them justice for what happened to them..

For some reason those words that Stefanie had said stuck in my head..and I realized that she wasn't all wrong..

Stefanie:You have to be more blood thirsty for revenge..think about those times that Armando threatened you and insulted your mom..are you just gonna forget that!..

Thinking deeply about what she was telling me I felt my blood boil as those moments flashed one by one before my eyes and I tightened my fists and clenched my teeth in anger thinking about what Armando did to my family...

Stefanie:Your anger and pain is justified..so.."GIVE THEM JUSTICE"(smirks maliciously)..

I turned to look at Stefanie with a serious face and wiped my tears with my hand and then I spoke..

London:"I WILL"..

And before I knew it I found myself on my bed and I just opened my eyes and realised that it was morning already and I instantly got scared thinking it was a dream so I rushed to my bag to check whether the documents were there and they were..I let out a sigh of relief and placed my hand on my chest while thinking about what happened the previous night..

And then I felt someone give me a back hug and I instantly closed the bag and pushed it under the bed..

Mace:So you stayed back huh...

London:Well yeah..it was already late so I couldn't go home..

Mace:But to be honest I'm really enjoying your company..especially in my mansion.(Smirks)..

London:Hm..

Mace:What's wrong you seem down?..

London:Huh..um..no..I'm ok..just feeling indifferent today..

Mace:Hmm...I can't really read your mind like I want to mami but..I can understand your emotions..something is definitely bothering you..

I looked up at Mace with tears in my eyes and then he hugged me..and I hugged him back tightly..

Mace:So tell me what's wrong?..

London:Mace..we should get ready for work..what's bothering me is my business..

I walked past him feeling a tad bit of annoyance and I felt kind of bad for being rude so I decided to speak..

I turned around but he already left and I just darted my eyes back and forth in confusion..

London:Hmm..guess he realised we are getting late..

I was talking with one of the staff members when I noticed Damien staring at me from a distance and he immediately looked away nervously and continued to talk with other people..then I excused myself to leave and decided to walk in a different direction..and a few seconds later he decided to look for me and then I crept out from an office room and cornered him when he reached where I was...

London:Miguel care to explain why you're being so creepy?...

Damien:Uh...I..El I was really worried about you..and I apologise once again for crashing your date with Mace...it was not my intention..

London:Now from your behaviour I'm starting to think it was...

Damien just stared at me speechless and there was an awkward silence and moments later Jenila burst in and broke the silence...

Jenila:Ohhh gosh London I've been looking for you everywhere..

Jenila then turned her attention to Damien and blushed hard..

Jenila:Hey dam..Dami..Damien..

I smiled slightly and looked down and Jenila then stepped on my foot noticing that I was teasing her..

London:ouch..

Damien:Um..hi..it's Jenila right..

Jenila:Oh my gosh you know my name!..

(Both Damien and London stare at Jenila in shock)..

Jenila:Oh..uh I mean yeah of course...that's me..Jenila McAdams...

London:(Giggles)..Was there the need for your surname too..

Jenila then pursed her lips and glared at me while saying my name feeling embarrassed...and I just held my mouth trying to contain my laughter...

London:Ok..I'm gonna leave you two to talk...I have important work to do..

I walked away and headed straight to my office and as I was going I bumped into Mace and suddenly we both fell and I fell on top of him.We just stared at each other and then he slowly removed my hair from my face and tugged it behind my ear and then I got chills down my spine and decided to stand up abruptly...

London:Sorry..(Attempts to leave)..

Mace:London did I upset you in any way..you've been like this since this morning..

London:No..

I decided to walk further when I felt him pull me by hand close to him...

Mace:Look into my eyes and tell me the truth...

I stared at him silently not knowing what to say and then he slowly let go of me and gave me a hurt look..

Mace:(Sighs)..I really care about you London..I can't bare to see you this upset..it hurts me..I just want to see that beautiful smile on your face that you usually have..I don't want to be the reason for you not being happy..I'm really putting in the effort to keep you happy..

Before he could finish I grabbed his face and kissed him in tears..

London:(Sighs)..I'm sorry...

Then he kissed me back and hugged me and as we both hugged my eyes flickered to Damien standing across the room looking hurt and he just put his hands into his pockets and walked away...

But I didn't know why I just felt so emotionally connected to Mace..He understands my emotions deeply that I can't even be mad at him for long...maybe I'll give him a chance just this once...he deserves it..
