I looked at Damien with a worried look and then I decided to break the silence..

London:I'm gonna..go back..

Damien:(Realises himself)..Oh yeah sure..I totally forgot about that..

I was about to leave when I heard shouting from afar and I and Damien both went to check and I saw that it was Armando de la cruz and he looked livid..He kept interrogating everyone for why bella was arrested and then his eyes landed on me and he charged towards me when Damien stood in front of me and blocked him..and Armando looked shocked and confused before he became happy and hugged Damien..And I was literally confused on what was going on..

Armando:You're finally here my boy..How are you?..

Damien:I'm good sir..well I came here when I got a message from your son that you wanted to see me..now I'm here..

Armando:Yes..yes..has anyone offered anything to you...food and drinks?..

Damien:No..I'm fine..Really no need for that..

Armando:Ok..well come with me let's have a chat..

And with that Armando's anger subsided and they both went to talk in private and then Mace came out of his office and saw that everyone was gathered and then he asked what was going on and one of the workers told him that his dad came to ask why bella was arrested because he probably thinks someone got her arrested..Then Mace instantly noticed the dim look on my face and came to me..

Mace:Mami did he say anything to you?..

London:Uh..no..Miguel stopped him just in time..

Mace got a little annoyed hearing his name but he brushed it off and smiled then he pulled me into a hug and to my suprise I felt like I needed it..Then moments later Damien came back and paused when he saw the both of us hugging and then he smirked and put his hands into his pockets..Then Armando came and stood next to him and I saw that he was telling him something..

Armando:Can you see..Damien how blind my son is..to date that girl..

Damien:Why sir?..

Armando:She's a witch..ever since she came here bad things just occur..

Damien:Sir I don't see how it's her fault..

Armando:Listen to me..She's the reason why Mace broke off his engagement with my future daughter in law..

Damien:I heard..it was because she did a lot of awful things that's why he broke off his engagement..

Armando:Are you taking that witch's side?..

Damien:First of all..Your future daughter in law is the craziest person on earth and yet you're blaming someone else..and second of all that girl is not a witch..she's a friend of mine and I know her whole and soul..she would never do anything bad to anyone..

Armando:You're really starting to sound like my son..and I don't like it..

Damien:Maybe your son and I think alike..we're like brothers..

Armando:Hmm..don't worry you'll see what I see..first I need to confront this girl..(Storms off)..

I heard heavy foot noises and then I looked at Damien who looked a little bit worried and then Armando called security to hold me and Mace was already back at his office and he later came down when he got a call that guards were holding me and when he got downstairs he shouted at his dad and then Damien joined him and he looked like he wanted to kill Armando..

Damien:Sir what the heck are you doing?..This is not the way to treat a woman!..

Armando:A woman like her deserves to be treated this way..

Mace then grabbed Armando by his collar and everyone gasped..unfortunately Armando's security couldn't do anything because Mace  practically owned the company and they would get fired..

Mace:Don't you dare insult her!..Who are you to dictate her character huh!..When you're not a saint yourself!..

I quickly had a light bulb moment and screamed at Mace..

London:Mauricio let him go!..

Damien turned to me with a shocked expression and then Mace slowly released his grip on Armando and ordered the security guards to let me go..

Mace:You see how good she is..despite your cruelty towards her she's looking out for you..How horrible can you be Dad..

I turned to Damien and was shocked when I saw that his eyes were really red and his fists were folded and he looked like he was about to explode..I noticed that he was death glaring at Armando and I was extremely confused as of why..

Armando:That's just fake..she's being fake and you can't see it can you..move aside..

He shrugged Mace aside and came to me with an evil look..and then he whispered something into my ear..

Armando:Listen here Delvon..I know all your weaknesses and secrets and if you don't control yourself I'll reveal to everyone about your past and who your slimy mother and father really are..

I pushed him away in angry tears and Mace told his Dad to leave peacefully else he would call the police and he left without arguing and he just smirked at me as he left with his guards.I felt tears rush down my face and Jenila then rushed to me and hugged me and then Mace said that no one should speak of what happened else they will lose their jobs and they all nodded and got back to work..Then feeling extremely overwhelmed and angry I pushed Jenila away slightly and walked to my office in anger..Both Damien and Mace looked super tense and worried about me..and then Mace said that I needed my space after what happened.I was in my office just going through my journal looking at old pictures of my family and I don't know why but what Armando had said to me triggered me emotionally and I couldn't stop crying as I looked at the pictures then I picked up the book and hugged it while sobbing softly then I remembered something..

(FLASHBACK...

Maya:Princesa!..Where are you..I'm gonna find you...

London:(Giggles)..She'll never see me in here..

Maya:Boo!..

London:(Screams)..Mom no fair you cheated..

Maya:Me..cheat in a simple game like hide and seek why will I?..

London:(Frowns)..

Maya:When you shine brighter than a magnolia in may..(Tickles London)..

London:Mom that tickles!..(Laughs)..

(Both hug)..

London:I love you mom..

Maya:I love you too mija..

Fabiano:Where's my princesa..

London:Daddy!..Yayyy..you're back..

Fabiano:(Carries London)..

London:Did you get my ice cream?..

Fabiano:Uh...(Looks at maya)..

London:Daddy I asked you to get me ice cream..

Fabiano:I'm just kidding here it is..

London:Yayyyy thank you Daddy..I love you..

Fabiano:(Kisses her cheek)..

(All hug)..

(Four years later..

London:Mom when is Dad gonna be home?..

Maya:Soon mija just be patient ok..

London:Ok..

(Fabiano opens the door..

(Rain falls heavily..Thunder strikes..

Maya:Oh gosh honey..your daughter has been waiting so long for you to arrive..Let me take your suitcase..

Fabiano:Leave it!..I told you not to touch my stuff..you foolish woman..leave me alone..(Goes upstairs)..

London:Mom..what's wrong with Dad..

Maya:Oh it's nothing honey..he's just tired after a long day at work..(Caresses London's hair)..

London:He didn't even say hi..to me..

Maya:Like I said he's tired..so don't worry..he'll come around tommorow..come let's go to your room it's time for bed..

Mom took me up to my room and read me a bed time story and sang me my favourite lullaby before going back to her room..and I could hear screams and ranting coming from Dad and they were both arguing and I just used my pillow to cover my head and I cried doing so..then when the shouting had stopped  I couldn't sleep anymore so I went downstairs to get a glass of water when I saw mom drinking and crying..and she was taking some antidepressants and sleeping pills..then I rushed to her and threw everything away and hugged her tight as she cried..

(A year later..

I was doing my homework when I heard a thud from the living room and I rushed downstairs to see that Dad had hit mom and I was livid but before I could confront him he left and closed the door shut..then I consoled mom and then aunt paloma came and we all sat down then my aunt told me to go upstairs while she talk to my mom and I agreed..Moments later mom was better and she came to play with me and then I asked her why Dad was being so mean to her and then she just laughed and said that they were acting..I knew she was lying so I told her to swear on me and then she gave in and told me the truth that she thinks Dad wants to leave us and I instantly hugged her as she cried..then a few hours later the most dreadful memory of my life occurred..Dad came in with his new foreigner wife and he had hurt me and mom before leaving with her and later aunt came when I called her on the phone..and we both helped mom to her room..and then the gut wrenching incident had occurred when mom committed suicide..I could never ever forget that moment..As time passed I had dreams of mom asking me why I didn't save her..and of dad telling me that I was always a burden to him..These nightmares would never leave me..

(BACK TO PRESENT..

I blinked multiple times realising that I had slept off and was dreaming..then I raised my head and wiped my tears and sighed softly while rubbing my eyes with both hands.I leaned on my chair and just stared at the ceiling and I kept thinking about what Armando de la cruz had told me and I shut my eyes tightly as tears flowed down..Then I heard a familiar voice and I felt an uncanny presence and the atmosphere became eerie as the lights flickered and then I realised that Stefanie was back..
