I felt my blood run cold not realizing this little detail of the whole scenario..

I won't blame myself..I wasn't in my senses..but I have never been so careless with the life of someone before..

Even though I despised Lewis that doesn't mean I would just kill him for no reason.

This attack that took place in his house while I was possessed..took me off guard.

I just hope God can save me now.

Estavo:Your honor I would like to invite Peyton.. Lewis's butler..to give the statement..before he plays the video.

Judge: Permission granted.

Estavo:Come Mr Peyton..enter the witness box and give your statement.

Peyton:I take the oath of saying the truth and nothing but the truth..Your honor.. Miss London here..

I closed my eyes in fear thinking about what he was going to say.

Peyton:Is innocent..

There was silence in the courtroom and everyone was stunned and happy at the same time.

Estavo:What the heck are you saying?..

Peyton: Lawyer Estavo please!.. don't support Lewis.. he's in the wrong..

Estavo:So because he's dead now..you think..Arghhh! Don't you understand she's a killer..she killed your boss!..

Peyton: You're blabbering..let me finish Estavo.

Estavo immediately kept shut as Peyton spoke the truth..

Peyton:Your honor..I want to tell you a brief story of it all..It all started when Miss London started working for Lewis..and she was a talented 20 yr old woman that wanted to expand her creativity and knowledge by working for an established institution.As soon as she stepped foot in Lewis's company..he immediately fell for her..at home he would always talk about her beauty while being drunk and he said a lot of nasty things like..how he wanted to bed her and fool around with her as much as he wanted..and honestly your honor it was disgusting..what he thought and said about her..

I looked down at the floor remembering when Lewis had tried to do all sorts of nasty things to me.

Peyton:There was a day that she was going to come to his house.. because he said that he wanted to discuss work with her but something was fishy..as soon as he told me to go to bed early..It was off to me.When she came with the file in her hand he immediately pounced on her and tried to rape her..but she hit him and I joined her.. because I couldn't bear to see a woman get violated.After that day,Lewis swore to make my life a living hell and he kept making advances at London until she resigned..and about that CCTV footage lawyer Estavo.. it's not what you think.

Estavo:What are you trying to say huh? You're here in the witness box to support Lewis not go against him..

Peyton:I took an oath right..so how can I afford to lie?..

Estavo looked shocked seeing how the tables have turned and I felt confident.

Peyton: Lewis is a hundred percent guilty for his crimes..and so are you lawyer Estavo.Your honor that day Lewis was attacked by Mr Mace and Mr Damien..he had already planned something against them..he threatened to abuse London..he said it too many times and he wasn't abused by anyone..rather he got thrashed for his wrong doings.. here's the footage of what he said before he was attacked.

(Footage): Lewis: When I get my hands on my London, I'll explore every part of her body she won't believe.. she's so hot and I'm so handsome..how can she not want me! she's with that De la Cruz baby..I swear I'll destroy all of them!..

Peyton:You see.. Estavo..this is what really happened.London only killed Lewis because he tried to harm a child..so it was purely out of self defense and his badluck..his time was up..get that straight you corrupt lawyer..

Estavo widened his eyes at Peyton and everyone was happy to see that he supported the truth.

Peyton:And yes.. before I came here.. I reported your fraudulent activities to the authorities..you are not a good lawyer..neither are you a good associate..betrayer!..Your time is up as well.

Judge:Officers..take him away!.

Estavo darted his eyes around nervously and then a group of police officers came and took him away still in a stunned state.

Judge:I hereby close..

Police woman:Wait your honor..

Everyone turned around to see the nice police woman that investigated my parents case and she came with a large amount of files and dropped them on the judge's desk.

Police woman: Your honor..if you remember the history of the Delvon family you would understand everything written and documented there.I was on their case for a long time and it's finally been solved..Mr Armando De la Cruz is guilty for the suicide of both Mr and Mrs Delvon and guilty of taking their wealth and of fraudulent deals.

The judge went through the papers and was shocked as everyone was..he immediately nodded slowly and was almost in tears.

Judge: Fabiano was a friend of mine..he didn't even bother to tell the police about Armando.. otherwise Armando would have been given a death sentence till this day and would have probably died too..

I sobbed quietly on my sit and Mace and the others consoled me.

I gently stood up from my seat and spoke...

London:Your honor, Though I was young.. I recall everything..how I saw my mom kill herself..how I witnessed my father's dead body.. I saw everything..I prayed and even sold my soul to get to the bottom of this case to expose Armando for who he truly was..he manipulated my dad into thinking his wife was unfaithful and neither my mom nor my dad were perfect..they both had their demons.My Dad became an abuser and my mom a drug addict and she was very depressed..

I sobbed even more as I spoke.

London:I wish they were around to see that I have given them justice.. even my dead brother.I also wish Armando paid for his crimes even more by rotting in prison but he's no more..

The police woman instantly became worried and knew what I was going to say..

London:I killed Armando De la Cruz..

Garry:What?..

Jenila: No..

Mace closed his eyes regretting that I revealed it and aunt paloma lowered her head..

Garry and Jenila were both stunned hearing this.

Judge:My dear Delvon, though you took the law into your hands because you wanted to avenge your late family..your punishment will be light.. you'll only get 3 months in prison and I hereby declare Armando De la Cruz guilty for  the suicide of Mr and Mrs Delvon..case closed.

I felt a weight lifted up from my shoulders.. Finally!My family have their justice..my work here is done.

Mace rushed to me with aunt paloma and hugged me tight and aunt sobbed while smiling..

Aunt paloma: Well done my child..you have achieved your mission..and now you can live a normal life..

Aunt paloma sobbed in joy and Mace consoled her.

Mace:Mami..

Mace leaned close to me and kissed me like it was our last..

London: You're acting as if I'm going away forever mi amor..

Tears gently flowed down Mace's eyes..

London: What's wrong handsome?..

Mace swiftly hugged me and I felt weak in the knees..

Mace:You went through so much in your past and in your present..yet you still remained strong.My dad was such a horrible human being..I wish I knew all this earlier and killed him myself!..

I hugged Mace while tears flowed down my cheeks..

London:Mi amor.. it's not your fault..he got what he deserved..and now you and your brother.. Damien can finally live in peace.

I smiled at Mace and he smiled back..

Garry: We're proud of you London..

Jenila: I'm so lucky to have a friend like you..

In the midst of our joy, everything suddenly went black and I could only hear faint screams of everyone shouting my name as I fell right into Mace's arms and was knocked out completely.
