I couldn't sleep in my cell even for a moment last night.I continued to look at the time on the clock while walking back and forth in my cell room just thinking about how my first court proceeding would go.

As I was walking,I immediately felt nauseous and sat down on the bench with a thud..I felt dizzy from walking and it followed with a splitting headache.I called for water and immediately the nice police woman that investigated my parents case came to me with a glass of water.

I drank it in one go and the dizziness I felt reduced..

I was sweating profusely as if I had ran a marathon race and the police woman got worried..

Apart from being a police officer,she was also a part time ward which made her available most of the time.

She put her hand on my forehead to check my health and she got even more worried and revealed to me that I had a fever..

I was devastated.

How was I going to attend the court proceedings without breaking down?..

I exhaled..

Police woman: London I don't think you can attend the court proceedings..you have a fever and it's actually quite serious.. when was the last time you took a checkup huh?..

I thought deeply to myself.Since I've been possessed for a few months,I never got a checkup..But I did have a skull examination done.. obviously the doctors would have carried out a checkup..so why did I feel so sick all of a sudden?..

London: Well..Just recently..like a few weeks ago.. probably a month or so.

Police woman: Well I guess.. maybe it's the change in environment..It happens with some of our jailers..

London:But that won't stop me from attending the court proceedings.. it's extremely important that I'm proven innocent..

Police woman:And you get your justice for your family..

The police woman smiled at me and I smiled back.

Mace had arrived at the police station with Garry and Jenila also with aunt paloma for my court proceedings and I got nervous knowing that the court might question my past decisions that I had no control of.

It was time for the court proceedings.

Mace, Garry, Jenila and Aunt paloma sat on their seats nervously just hoping for a good outcome and Mace looked extremely agitated like as if he was expecting someone to show up..

I sat at the dock nervously and waited for the judge to start the proceedings..

A few seconds later,Two lawyers walked in and I'm guessing that one of them was my defense lawyer and the other was supposed to be for Lewis.

Mace was relieved seeing the lawyer and I felt at ease seeing him finally relax.

The proceedings finally begun..

My defense lawyer was named Dre and he was a former judge of a prestigious court and he decided to become a defense lawyer because he knew how to present the truth and facts about any case.

He stood up and introduced himself before going straight to the point.

Dre:Your honor,This young lady right here has been arrested for killing Mr Lewis Florez..but do you know that he had threatened to kill an innocent child before Miss London here shot him.. everyone in the office saw this..she clearly had no choice but to do it and honestly she only shot him out of self defense..

Estavo: Objection your honor.

Estavo was Lewis's lawyer and has been his lawyer for a long time.I also knew him as well..He was a corrupt lawyer that Lewis paid loads of money just to support him and now that Lewis is dead..his management continues to pay this man for lying.

What was he gonna lie about now?..

Estavo: Your honor,I know Miss London here..she used to work at Lewis's prime..and she was a top worker in the company..and Lewis adored her work ethic your honor..but she decided to take advantage of that..

I widened my eyes in shock totally dumbfounded and confused..

Mace:She would never do that..what is he saying?..

Estavo:She and Lewis had an affair..

There was a silence in the courtroom and everyone were stunned by what Estavo was saying.

Dre: I object!..Miss London never even liked Mr Lewis..ever..It was obvious that he was after her because I have recorded the statements from the employees of his office and of Mr Mace De la Cruz's office and they all have said that Lewis was obsessed with Miss London.

I smiled hearing that Dre had already carried out such a smart move and the judge was impressed by it.

Estavo:That won't change the fact that because of this love story.. Lewis was abused by the employees and the owner of the De la Cruz company.

Judge:Abused?..

Estavo:Yes your honor..A few months ago Mr Mace and Mr Damien had invaded Lewis's property and attacked him.

Dre:Do you have any proof regarding that?..

Estavo:Proof?..why yes!..I have a CCTV footage of the whole thing..

Mace was stunned by this and I then remembered that Mace and Damien had attacked Lewis because of me..

Judge: Please show us..

My heart pounded so hard in my chest I could hear it..oh no!What is going to happen now?..What if I don't win this case?.
