The Dragon itself is a powerful presence that cannot be contained. Essentially, it fought the Iron Lords along with another Evil presence. In the end, the Iron Lords Defeated the Dragon. That is, until something, or someone, rediscovered its power and essence, and claimed it. A young Warlock. This Warlock once wanted to channel the power of it. At first the power was acknowledged. But something happened.

The essence felt threatened and started devouring the Light of the Warlock. The Warlock's Light was powerful, able to withstand almost anything. But the reason was not just because the Warlock was strong and intelligent, it was because it had lost it's Ghost, combining the Light bond into the Warlock. And the essence realized that She didn't have anyone to maintain her Light.

Instead of destroying it, the essence used her Light, making her to what the power wished to be. Ahamakara. A ruthless, sociopathic, malevolent Demon. The Warlock's Fate had changed, and there's nothing that Warlock can do. She is now an Evil monster that was once a Joyful Mote of Light... But dormant at the moment outside of the Last Safe City's Walls. Buried.
