The Hosu City park was closed off and blocked by police to keep people from entering what was now a crime scene. Earlier that day three people were attacked with some sort of gas made by the villain now known as the Joker. This gas now referred to as Joker Venom by the hero's and police gives the victims a huge unnatural smile and makes them go into an uncontrollable fit of laughter. The Joker released this gas in the park but then left without a trace before the heroes arrived. His motives for the attack are unknown but the detectives on the scene are hopeful that the forensic team will be able to find something that can be useful.

Detective mind: so this psyco just came, gassed civilians an then left? There has to be a reason for this attack, he had to have had......what is that noise?

The sound of an loud engine could be heard heading there way and in no time at all a motorcycle could be seen pulling up to the crime scene with what appeared to be two pro heroes on it. The detective recognized one of the hero's as the rabbit hero Miruko but he didn't know who the other guy was. The motorcycle was parked and shut off then the heroes got off and made there way over. As they made there way over a two of the officers that were standing watch went to stop the male hero as he was walking up but stopped.

Officer 1: no getting through till we see a license! I said you need to stop.....

As the two got closer the hero gave off an aura that stopped them in their tracks then the glair the two officers received made them immediately step out of the heroes way.

Miruko: I think you need to relax a little Batman, they are on are side.

Batman: no time, the longer we wait the more the Jokers trail runs cold and it will be harder for us to find him.

Miruko: true but it would still probably be best not to scare the officers.

Batman: I'm sure they'll be fine.

The detective that was there watched the hole scene and was confused as to why the hero's were even here to begin with. The villain was gone and all that was left to do was collect evidence stuff that hero's don't do. The detective then began to make his way over to Miruko and Batman as they entered the crime scene.

Detective: what are you two doing here, the villain has already got away so there's no need.......

Batman didn't say anything to the detective or even pay attention to him as he was talking and just walked right by him.

Detective: hay, where are going?

Batman: to investigate the crime scene before your men mess it up.

Detective: mess it up! You little sh......

Miruko: detective! Why don't you tell me what happened here while my partner does his thing.

The detective then looked at Batman then he turned back to Miruko.

Detective: fine.

The detective lit up a cigarette and began to explain what happened to Miruko. The detective talked about how witnesses said that the Joker just showed up out of nowhere and gassed the three victims watched them as the gas took effect. Then how the witness said he let out this big creepy laughing while watching before leaving.

Miruko: weird.

Detective: yeah well this isn't the first time he has done this.

Miruko: it isn't?

Detective: nope, this has happened two other times.

As Batman was looking for anything he could find that would give him a clue on where he could find the Joker he was listening to the detective. He listened as the detective explained what happened here at the park. But what really got his attention was the news that this wasn't the first time the Joker attacked civilians and that it has actually happened two other times.

Batman mind: two other times and I didn't even know about it! Damn it this has been happening and I couldn't even see it! I need to find the Joker and put a stop to all of this!

Batman continued his investigation of the crime scene being carful and making sure to look closely to everything as to not miss anything.

Batman mind: I can't find anything, wait Mei gave my a device for stuff like this didn't she?

Batman began to look through his belt tell he found the gadget that he was looking for.

Batman mind: here they are! Mei made them for occasion just like this, detective goggles is what I believe she called them. Only a prototype but she said they should still be helpful.

Batman then put the goggles on over his mask and turned them on causing them to make how he sees his surroundings change. Batman then looked down and was able to see the chemical residue that was left behind by the Jokers gas. Batman then found a leaf that had a good amount of the chemical on it so he grabbed the leaf and put it into and evidence bag to take and run tests on. After he was done Batman stood up and put the goggles away.

Batman mind: they work, I'll have to remember to thank Mei.

Batman then began to make his way back to Miruko who was still talking and getting information from the detective.

Miruko: so even with all this evidence you have no leads?

Detective: none, we can't figure this villain out.

Batman: because he isn't like other villains.

The detective and Miruko then looked over at Batman who they didn't even notice was standing there before he said something.

Detective: what do you mean?

Batman: I don't know much about the Joker yet ether but from what I do know, with the Joker it is best to expect the unexpected.

Detective: and what exactly is that supposed to mean?!?

Batman: it means exactly what it sounds like.

Batman then turned his attention away from the detective and towards Miruko.

Batman: we can go now, I have what I need.

Miruko: right, lets go then!

The two of them started to walk back to the Batcycle leaving the detective there without even saying a word to him.

Detective: leaving just like that! And what did you mean you have what you need! What did you take?!? Where are you to going?!?

Miruko: goodbye detective!

Batman and Miruko then got on the Batcycle and left the crime scene. The detective that was still there then took out another cigarette and lit it, he then took a big drag off of it.

Detective: younger heroes have no respect for the elderly these days or maybe I'm just getting to old for the generation of heroes.

Batman and Miruko were now speeding done the highway on the batcycle weaving in and out of traffic.

Miruko: now that you got what you need let's head back to my agency building so that you and I can go over everything.

Batman: I was just thinking the same thing.

Batman then speed up and the two of them made their way back to Miruko's agency. It didn't take the two of them long to get back to Miruko's agency. After parking the batcycle in the alley be ode the building the two of them made there way inside.

Rumi: even though we haven't been gone long it fells like it has been forever since we left Izuku.

Since they were inside the building Izuku pulled his mask off of his head without worry of being scene.

Izuku: we only left last night.

Miruko: I know but it still feels like it was weeks ago.

Izuku: well why don't you get some rest, it's going to take awhile for the computer on the batcycle to process the chemicals on the leaf.

Miruko: while that is happening how about we get changed and grab some dinner.

Izuku: I'm not really hungry.

Miruko: Izuku you haven't eaten all day, you need to eat something.

Izuku: it's fine I'm really not......

Miruko: you said it your self, the computer will take some to process, so get changed and come and eat!

The way she said it Izuku knew that Rumi wasn't asking she was telling and that it would probably be best to just listen and do it.

Izuku: ok, lets change and go eat.

After getting out of their hero suit Rumi and Izuku left the agency once again only this time it was for dinner and to relax. As the two of them walk around to try and find some place to eat they talked to each other. They both talked and got to know each other even more then they already did. They both eventually found a place to eat and had a nice meal together. Rumi and Izuku would have liked to have stayed longer but knew they had to get back because there was hero work to be done. By the time the two of them got back to the agency the computer on the batcycle finished processing the chemicals that were on the leaf.

Izuku: it looks like the computer is done.

Rumi: and what did it find?

Izuku: there's no evidence that the gas came from a quirk, but if that's the case then this makes no sense!

Rumi: what doesn't make sense?

Izuku: the chemicals in the gas!

Rumi: what about them?

Izuku: I made sure to study chemistry to prepare for for being a hero so I know this chemicals that are in the gas and mixing all of them together shouldn't produce the effects that it did!

Rumi: what are you saying, that he was able to do the impossible?

Izuku: I don't know how but that is what he did.

Rumi: well if we can't find anything from the chemicals then we are at a dead end.

Izuku: no I don't think we are. Instead of looking at the chemicals them self since we can't find anything then let's see if we can find out where he got them from.

Rumi: I see find the chemical company that produced them.

Izuku: exactly!

Izuku got his mini computer Mei made for him and started to research all of the places in Japan that produce the chemicals in the Jokers gas. As he was doing that Rumi was looking over all the papers with the chemicals and evidence on them to try and spot anything that may have been missed. As she was looking through the papers she came across one that didn't look like it belonged with the rest of them.

Rumi: what's this one?

Izuku: what?

Rumi: this paper has stuff on it that don't seem to go with the rest of the evidence.

Rumi held up the paper so that Izuku could take a good look at it.

Izuku: you're right that doesn't go with this evidence.

Rumi: then what's it for?

Izuku: that is the paper to the chemical residue and the evidence I collected from the Myers case on Halloween.

Rumi: I see, what did you find from those chemicals?

Izuku: not much yet, I don't know what the chemical does but I do know that it is a quirk based chemical. I look into it more after we take done the Joker.

Rumi: we have to find him first.

Izuku: yes and I think I just got a lead.

Rumi then walked over to Izuku to look at the computer with him.

Rumi: what did you find?

Izuku: every chemical company in Japan produces almost all of the chemicals except for one. That one chemical was only produced by one company in all of Japan.

Rumi: and that company is?

Izuku: the old ACE chemical producing plant.

Rumi: that place has been shut down for year because of all the people getting hurt, I'm pretty sure one person even died there from falling into the chemicals.

Izuku: that true and that is also where we will ether find the Joker or are next lead.

Rumi: well then let's get ready because it's a long drive to Tokyo and we need to try and get there before he leave if he hasn't already.

Izuku: agreed, lets get ready!

Izuku and Rumi then left to go get ready to investigate the ACE chemicals plant.

Izuku mind: you won't be able to hide from me forever Joker. I will find.
