It has been two weeks since Izuku started going to Nezu's office for mental training after the school day ended. In that time Izuku found out just how tough it was going to actually be because after two week he wasn't even a quarter of the way done with the work that Nezu gave him. Izuku knew that it was going to be tough for him since he started on day one but he honestly didn't expect it to be as tough as it was, Izuku knew he underestimated the work. But that is all after school stuff, right now Izuku is in English class with Present Mic. The class was boring and Izuku had just finished the work he was given so he was now on his phone. Izuku was playing a game on it that is supposed to help the person playing improve there reflexes.

Izuku mind: as I get to higher and higher levels this game really does get more difficult making me have to react faster if I want to win. This game is nowhere near as hard as Nezu's paper work but I am glad that he showed it to me to help me improve my reflexes.

The rest of the day went on like it normally did for class 1A with them going to then finishing the regular classes, after that heading to lunch, and finally doing there actually hero training. Today's hero training for them focused more on improving class 1A's knowledge on what to do in certain situations ranging anywhere from rescues from burning buildings to supervillain attacks. Aizawa also threw in some physical training in as well towards the end. Before the class ended though Aizawa said that he had news for them.

Aizawa: alright everybody listen up because I'm only going to say this one.

Aizawa waited for a second and looked around the room to make sure all of his students were paying attention before a began again.

Aizawa: the end of the school term is coming up which means the the end of term tests are close. You all have one week to prepare for both a written and practical test. There will also be a training camp held over the summer, those of you who pass both the written and physical portions of the end of terms test get to go.

Mina then raises her hand.

Aizawa: yes Ms. Ashido?

Mina: what about the students who don't pass the test.

Aizawa gave the class a smile that scared a lot of them when he heard that question.

Aizawa: those of you who don't pass get to stay here with me for summer school. That's all I have to say, you all are free to go.

With that Aizawa left but as soon as he was out of the room some of class 1A began to panic and freak out. The students that began to panic mostly about how they didn't study and were worried about not passing the written test. The whole class was pretty confident that they could handle the physical test considering what the have been through all year. Izuku didn't stick around the classroom long as he had to go practice with Nezu but as he left and was walking down the hallway he heard his name being called. When Izuku turned and looked at who it was trying to get his attention he say Ochako jogging down the hall towards him.

Izuku: Ochako? Did you need something?

Ochako then made it to Izuku.

Ochako: I just wanted to ask you something?

Izuku: oh, what is it?

Ochako: you are one of the smartest students in the class so I was hoping you could help me study for the written test?

Izuku couldn't help but notice how hopeful and determined Ochako looked as she asked him for help and waited for his answer. Izuku didn't know if he could help since he had his training with Nezu then his own personal training as well.

Izuku: I'm sorry Ochako but I don't know if I can help you with your studying.

Ochako: oh that's ok.

The way her face looked after Izuku told her that he couldn't help and the sad tone in her voice made him feel so bad. Ochako then began to walk away from Izuku back down the hallway but she didn't get far when she heard Izuku call out to her.

Izuku: Ochako!

Ochako hearing him call out to her turned to face him.

Izuku: right now I have to train with Nezu for a couple of hours but after that me and you can study together for the rest of the night if you want.

Ochako's face instantly lite up after hearing that Izuku was willing to help her.

Ochako: I'm fine with that, I'll just study by myself until you get back to the dorms!

Izuku: ok then I will see you in a few hours.

Ochako: ok, see you back at the dorms!

Ochako yelled this as she ran off leaving Izuku in the hallway alone.

Izuku mind: better get to Nezu's so that I can get started as soon as possible.

It didn't take long for Izuku to finally get to Nezu's office and get started on answering more of the questions from the book that Nezu made. Like always every time Izuku finally got an answer correct and moved on to the next one it was always a harder question. Nezu did tell him that they would get harder as it went on.

Izuku: Nezu sir?

Nezu: yes Mr.Midoriya do you have a question?

Izuku: I was just wondering if this is the kind of stuff you did to train your quirk?

Nezu went silent for a little bit because of Izuku's question but he eventually spoke again.

Nezu: no Mr.Midoriya it wasn't. You see Mr.Midoriya most people don't know this but the reason I am an animal who has a quirk is because I was experimented on. I was part of an illegal animal quirk test and when I showed that I had a quirk the training that they made me do for it was much more.......well let's just say that it isn't a preferable method of training shall we.

Izuku: oh I see, I'm sorry to hear that.

Nezu: thank you Mr.Midoriya for your concern, I know that you understand that feeling of being wronged by villainous people.

Izuku: yes sir.

Nezu: I guess that just makes the two of us more alike then before.

Izuku then gained a smile that had small hints of sadness in it.

Izuku: I guess it does sir.

Nezu: yes, now I think you should get back to your work, we don't want to waste an time.

Izuku: right!

Izuku continued to work for the rest of his time with Nezu uninterrupted and was able to get a couple more questions answered before he left to head back to the dorms.

Izuku: man what a day, and I still have to help Ochako study like I promised.

As Izuku continued to walk to the 1A dorm building his phone buzzed. When Izuku pulled out his phone to see what it was he saw that he got a text from Mei. The text from Mei just ask if he could come by the workshop so that he could check something out. Izuku didn't have time for that so he asked her if they could do that in the morning before school started. Izuku was surprised when he saw that Mei was ok with that, normally Mei couldn't wait to show off her stuff to someone.

Izuku mind: I guess she had more stuff she wants to work on so that it would be better if I came by tomorrow.

Izuku then put his phone away and continued back to the dorms. Once there him and Ochako began to study for the end of term tests. The two of them kept there studying till it was eleven at night. To tired to go back to his own room Izuku ended up sleeping with Ochako in her bed. Before Izuku fell asleep he set an alarm to get himself up early so that he could go see what Mei has been working on. The thought of what she made this time around was Izuku's last thoughts before he fell asleep.
