Currently back at the ACE chemicals plant Miruko just threw one of the Jokers thugs that had grabbed her from behind into a bear hug through a wall.

Miruko mind: damn it!

Miruko then runs at two other guys after throwing the one that bear hugged her and does a jumping splits kick, kicking both of the guys in the head at the same time before landing back on the ground.

Miruko mind: I can't believe I let that clown trap me in a room with a shit ton of his own men!

Miruko then hits a guy with a flying side kick and then uses his body to push off and do another flying side kick to another guy.

Miruko mind: because I let myself get trapped in here Izuku has to deal with that damn clown by himself!

Miruko then does a low spinning leg sweep to a guy and then while he is still suspended in the air Miruko hit him with a push kick sending him flying and hitting a group of thugs.

Miruko mind: all these guys are week but they just keep coming!

Miruko then ducks under a haymaker and lands a powerful cross into the guy's gut she then hits him with a double leg drop kick.

Miruko mind: I know Izuku can handle himself but after seeing what he did to the hero killer, I am afraid of what he will do to the man that killed his own father.

One guy charged at Miruko and in response she hit him in the side of the head with a jump turning round kick and then hit the guy next to him with a spin heel kick while still in the air.

Miruko mind: I don't want Izuku to go down a dark path of revenge.

Miruko then jumps onto a guys back and slammed his face into the ground.

Miruko mind: please wait for me Izuku and don't do something you will regret!

As Miruko continued to deal with the wave Jokers of never ending thugs, across town Batman was making his way through a building that had been abandon searching for the Joker. After Batman caused the van to crash Joker continued to try and escape by running inside the building.

Batman: where the hell is he!

Batman continued to search floor by floor for the Joker, used his detective goggles that Mei made him to help him see more of his surroundings. But do to the goggles being a prototype there range and all that they could see was limited. Batman cleared all of the lower floors and was now on the top floors of the building.

Batman mind: he wasn't on the lower floors, and I know he didn't leave the building, the Joker most likely he is having fun from me trying to find him and wants it to continue. He is just playing with me but I will show him why that was a mistake.

Batman continued to search the top floor when out of nowhere the Jokers voice could be heard talking to him.

Joker: my, my batsy you persistent, I don't even think jehovah's witness would go this far!

Batman looked all around the floor he was on but the Jokers voice sounded like it was coming from everywhere at once so he couldn't pin point where he was at.

Batman: I'll chase you for as long as I have to before you're behind bars so you might as well give up now!

Joker: give up but we are having so much fun, why would we stop now?!?

Batman mind: I knew it, this is just one big game to him.

Joker: you know batsy ever since the hole usj attack I knew we would meet again.

Batman mind: he voice is bouncing off of the walls so I can't track the sound back to the source and the goggles aren't showing where he is!

Joker: and look I was right, that's why I now think that you and I are going to be doing this tango for the rest of are lives, only ending when one of us is dead.

Batman: wrong Joker, this ends tonight!

Joker: are you sure batsy!

After Joker said that Batman heard the sound of foot steps running up from behind and he quickly turned towards the sound only to see the outline of the Joker and his skeletal structure with a crowbar. Even though Batman saw this it was to late for him to move and the Joker hit him across the head knocking him to the ground.

Joker: hahaa batsy lets have some more fun shall we!

Joker then began to beat down on Batman with the crowbar while he was on the ground. After continuously hitting him a for a minute the Joker the backed away.

Joker: you now I really that you would put up more of a fight, but haha beating you to a bloody pulp is pretty fun too!

The Joker then ran back up to Batman to start another round of beating him with the crowbar but as he got right up on him Batman kicked the Joker so hard in the leg that they flew out from under him and he landed face first on the ground. As the Joker rushed to get up Batman rolled to the side and out to his feet in order to put distance in between him and Joker. Once to his feet anyone could see that Batman definitely took a lot of damage from the Jokers crowbar the determination to stop the Joker was also seen on Batman's face.

Joker: haha it looks like someone got a fire lit under there ass.

Batman: I'm taking you in Joker.

Joker: are you still going on about that, you're like a dog with a bone batsy.

The Joker then ran at Batman with the crowbar. Once the Joker reached Batman he did a downward swing at him with the crowbar but Batman side stepped the attack. After side stepping the attack the Joker then came at Batman with a big swing to his ribs, Batman was about to dodge the attack but the feed from the goggles turned to static.

Batman mind: shit!

Because of the damage the goggles took the Joker was able to land his attack. The hit from the crowbar was enough to break one of Batman's rib causing him to stumble back. But Batman was able to regain his balance and when he did he quickly took off the goggles from around his head. When he did he saw the Joker running at him with the crowbar again.

Joker: batter's up!

The Joker then did another big horizontal swing at Batman but this time he closed the distance between then two of them and used a double forearm block to Jokers arm stopping the attack.

Batman: that's three strikes Joker.

Batman then grabbed one of the Jokers wrists with the closest hand and with the other arm he slammed down on the joints in the Jokers arms causing them to bend. When they did bend Batman forest the wrist he was gripping up making the crowbar smack Joker in the head.

Batman: you're out.

The Joker then stumbled back and stood in an over exaggerated dizzy manner much like a cartoon character.

Joker: oh you're so funny.

Batman began to walk towards the Joker at a slow pace do to his injuries but a determined pace. When the Joker saw him coming he immediately jumped into the old fighting Irish boxing stance.

Joker: alright pal no more weapons. From now on it's just you and me, mano-a-mano, fisticuffs.

When Batman was in range of the Joker he threw a massive upper cut hitting Batman in the gut. What the Joker wasn't expecting was that when his fist made contact with Batman's gut it was his fist that got hurt and not Batman. The joker started dancing around in pain while holding his holding wrist before looking back at Batman.

Joker: you know fighting is never the answer. How about me and you just talk this out, what do you say.

As soon as the Joker said that he jumped at Batman with a joy buzzer that was sparking with electricity. Batman saw this and did an inward forearm block to knock Jokers hand away and then with the same arm Batman back fisted Joker in the jaw. This attack from Batman was hard enough to make Joker do a 180 while stumbling back. When Joker turned back towards Batman, Batman front kicked Joker in the gut causing him to lean forward, Batman then gave Joker an upper cut to the jaw followed immediately by a hard cross. The Joker stumbled back from this attack and put both hands over his mouth in pain as blood seeped out.

Joker: I think you knocked some of my teeth out that time batsy, can you check for me.

When Joker said that he threw a pair of wind up teeth at Batman and in response Batman put up one of his gauntlets. When the laughing teeth made contact with Batman's gauntlets they bit down harder enough to shape one of the blades on the side in half.

Batman mind: what the?!?

Joker: don't like that try, made you would like a wife of my flower then Batman!

The Joker then shoot a stream of acid from his flower and to defend himself Batman threw up his cape to block it from hitting him. When Batman moved his cape back out of the way after blocking the attack Joker was already right on top of him and hit him in the face with a hard right cross, one that Batman didn't expect Joker to have became of his insanely thin body.

Joker: haha it's getting exiting now!

Back at the ACE chemicals plant Miruko just got done taking care of the thugs that Joker sent at her and was now running out of the building. When Miruko made it out she started looking for any clues as to where Joker could have run too. Miruko the bent down by the rode.

Miruko: these tire tracks look fresh and the head in the direction of the city.

Miruko then started jumping as far and as fast as she could down the rode to try and catch up the everyone.

Miruko mind: I'm coming Izuku, just hang on!

Back at the abandoned building all of Batman's injuries were starting to get to him and because of this the Joker was able to take control of the fight and started to push Batman back. The Joker was able to hit Batman with attack after attack and Batman was unable to defend against them.

Joker: come on Batman don't tell me you're already out of steam, we're just getting started!

The Joker continues his onslaught of attacks on Batman until he hit him with a hard enough struck that that finally fell to the ground. Batman then began to slowly roll over after hitting the ground and tried to stand back up but as soon as he was on his hands and knees Joker came in with a hard kick to Batman's ribs making him roll back over onto his back.

Joker: oh no you don't batsy, I think you should just stay down there where you are now.

The Joker the drops down on Batman's solar plexus with his knee and with one of his hands grabs Batman's neck.

Joker: I think I'm done for today, I mean you can no longer fight back and when the victim doesn't struggle it really just isn't any fun for me anymore.

The Joker then pulled out a knife.

Joker: original I wanted to finish you off with my newly perfected Joker gas but I didn't have time to grab any thinks to being chased by your rabbit friend so I hope it is ok with you that I end this with a knife. Ah who am I kidding, I know you don't care.

At this point most people would see their life flash before their eyes but not Batman, instead of his life Batman saw his father. As this was happening Miruko was able to find the recked van with the Jokers men inside.

Miruko: here's the van, the two most likely are inside of the building then!

Miruko then took off into the building to try and find Batman so she could help him. As she was searching the building Batman was having visions of him and his father. Batman started to remember when his father told him that he could be a hero, and when his father took him to his first martial arts class. Batman was having good memories but then he started to remember the night that everything changed. Batman started to remember going to the movies, then begging to go threw the park. He then started to remember the worst of it, the image of his dad protecting him and getting shot started to play in his head. Batman then remembered how his father was still more worried about him even when he was dying. After remembering all of this he was ready to just give up but then more memories started to come to him. He began to remember his mom and how much she carried about him, and he remembered the girls that carried about him and his classmates and teachers. He began to remember them all the he remembered something else. Batman remembered the solemn vow he took that day, the promise he made that until it was kept he was not allowed to die.

Joker: haha have fun in hell batsy!

The Joker then went to stab Batman with his knife but before he could Batman's hand shoot up and grabbed his wrist stopping the attack.

Joker: WHAT!!!

Batman: I'm not done yet!

Batman then took his other hand and hit Joker with a hook punch strong enough to knock the Joker off of him. Batman then got on top of the Joker and with one hand held him down then with the other hand began to repeatedly punch him in the face over and over again until joker was bloodied and bruised. Batman then got off of him and slowly stood back up.

Joker: haha I knew you wouldn't give up.

The Joker then tried to sit up but Batman kicked him back down to the floor.

Batman: stay down, last warning!

Joker: haha I knew you wouldn't kill me, some how I knew it. And I also know I'm going to have a hard time killing you too. So what I said was true.

Batman: and what was that?

Joker: that you and I are going to be doing this dance forever hahaha.

Batman was about to say something but then heard someone coming up behind him and turned to see who it was. When he looked he was relieved to see that it was Miruko.

Miruko: thank God you're ok!

In the time that Batman looked away and Miruko spoke the Joker got back to his feet and went for an attack at Batman while his back was tired.

Miruko: LOOK OUT!!!!

Batman turned back around to see the attack coming and ducked under it, he then came back up and hit the Joker with a palm strike to the face hard enough to knock him out. The Jokers body went backwards and ended up tripping and falling out of the building. Seeing this Batman didn't hesitate and jumped out after Joker. After diving and catching the Joker Batman was about to use his cape to land safely but couldn't do to getting destroyed. Not having a lot of time Batman quickly pulled out his grappling gun and shot out a line to catch them. The line caught on to the building and the two's fall was able to be slowed down enough so that when they landed it still hurt but they lived. After landing Batman laid Jokers unconscious body on the ground and stood back up. Miruko who followed not to far behind Batman when he jumped to save the Jokers life landed not to far from him. Batman then turned to Miruko and tried to walk over to her.

Batman: hey Miruko are you ok.....

Batman then collapsed and began to fall as he was walking his body finally succumbing to his injuries he had sustained.

Miruko: IZUKU!!!

Miruko then jumped and caught him before he hit the ground and held the now unconscious Batman.

Miruko: don't worry I'm going to get help ok! Just hang in there! Izuku! IZUKU!
