After All Might announced that Izuku was the winner of the rescue training race Izuku walked over and sat down next to the railing to catch his breath for a second.

Izuku mind: this was hard, they have all gotten so much stronger, but I won witch means that I have too. So far I've been able to keep my promise to myself and my father that I would never lose again.

As Izuku was thinking about the race and how his class has improved over there time apart from one another someone came walking up to him. Izuku didn't have to look at who it was to know that it was Sero who was coming over. Once Sero stopped right in front of Izuku he looked up at his classmate that he just barely beat. When he did he saw Sero looking at him with a huge smile on his face.

Sero: dude you have gotten so much faster then before!

Izuku: um yeah I guess I have.

Izuku was confused by why he was so happy, usually people were upset when they were beaten by a quirkless boy like himself but he wasn't.

Sero: that was an amazing race man!

Still with a smile on his face Sero then stuck out his hand to offer Izuku so help to get back up. Izuku took the hand with a slit smile on his face as he stood back up.

Izuku: thanks.

Sero: don't mention it.

At that point All Might made his way up to the two boy.

AM: you both should be very proud of yourself for how hard you worked today.

All Might then turned and spoke to all four of the students that participated in the race.

AM: I am very pleased with how you all preformed in this training exercise but you could all still us some improvement so don't stop trying to be better.

Izuku then thought about what All Might had just said to them.

Izuku mind: he's right, just cause I keep winning doesn't mean I'm the best yet. I should probably increase the difficulty of how I train so that I can improve even faster.

After Izuku's race was over him and the other 3 went back to the rest of there class as a new group of students went in for there turn. As the rest of the class were taking there turn at the rescue race Izuku continued to think about how he can improve. Not just his body but his mind as well.

Izuku mind: increasing the difficulty of my physical training to get stronger is easy but to speed up my mental training is another story.

Izuku continued to think for the rest of the class period. Izuku knew that it was a good idea to watch his classmates to see how the improved so that he may get some ideas about how to improve as well. But in the end Izuku decided that it would be more beneficial in the long run if he figured out how to improve his mental capability.

Izuku mind: this is going to be difficult, I don't even know where to even start. I need someone who could help me with.......

Izuku then got an idea about what he should do when he remembered someone that might be able to help him.

Izuku mind: I just hope he says yes.

Eventually all of class 1A finished the training exercise and was dismissed by All Might. When they were aloud to finally go Izuku quickly got changed and began to make his way to the person he thought might be able to help him.

Izuku mind: I really hope he is willing to help me because this is the only idea that I have.

After walking a little farther through the hallways of UA Izuku eventually stopped in front of a closed door and stood there for a second.

Izuku: well, lets do this.

Izuku the knocked on the door and waited outside till he heard the person on the other side tell him that he could come in. When Izuku opened the door he looked and sitting behind the desk he saw the familiar sit of UA's principal Nezu with the usual smile he always seemed to have on his face.

Nezu: Mr.Midoriya and what do I owe this pleasure?

Izuku: hello sir.

Izuku gave Nezu a respectful bow.

Nezu: please there is no need for formalities.

Nezu the gestured with his paw to one of the two chairs that where across from his desk.

Nezu: please have a seat Mr.Midoriya.

Izuku: thank you sir.

Izuku then took a seat in one of the chairs.

Nezu: now what has brought you here today?

Izuku: sir I could use your help.

Nezu: help? Help with what?

Izuku: sir because of your quirk you are considered to be one of the smartest people in the world.

Nezu: yes, so what does that have to do with anything.

Izuku: sir is there a way for you to tutor me so that I can improve mentally?

After hearing this principal Nezu leaned back in his chair and put his paw on his chin as if he was thinking of the right answer, not of weather on not it was possible but weather he should say yes or not. After a short time of nothing but silence Nezu finally spoke again.

Nezu: tell me Mr.Midoriya why do you need to get smarter?

Izuku: sir not all problems can be solved with your fists and without a quirk I am going to need every advantage that I can get.

After hearing Izuku's answer to his question Nezu went back to silent thinking once again and again he was the first one to break the silence.

Nezu: I like your answer Midoriya because I to also believe that not every problem can be solved with fist and would like to see more pro heroes solve situations with there brains.

Izuku: so is that a yes sir?

Nezu: yes.

Izuku: thank you sir.

Nezu: I am busy today though so we shall start tomorrow after school is over.

Izuku: yes sir, I'll see you tomorrow then.

Nezu: have a good day Izuku.

Izuku: you to sir.

Izuku then got up and with one final bow he left Nezu's office and began to make his way back to the dorms. As he left Nezu watched and couldn't help but smile about how far one of his students is willing to go in order to help people and become a hero.

Nezu: it's to bad really, without a quirk Midoriya won't be as recognized as some of the more flashier pro heroes are. That's upsetting to think about considering that they just don't make heroes like Midoriya anymore.

Izuku was about to the dorms when his phone went off. Pulling it out and looking to see who was calling him Izuku immediately answered when he saw who it was.

Izuku: hey La Brava what's up.

LB: hey I was just calling to tell you that I got that computer you asked for built.

Izuku: already? That was faster than I thought.

LB: what did you expect, computers are my thing.

Izuku: well now that it is ready do you think you will be able to install it in the cave?

LB: that is going to be the tricky part but I'm fairly confident that I can.

Izuku: that's good to hear.

LB: yeah so when are you coming by to take a look at it.

Izuku: I'm busy right know so it might be a little bit, just go ahead and install it if you can.

LB: alright well I got to go.

Izuku: so do I, I'll call when I can.

LB: ok see ya.

Izuku: bye.

LB: wait a second.

Izuku: what is it?

LB: got any girls yet.

Izuku: goodbye La Brava.

Izuku then hung up the phone and continued to walk the rest of the way back to the dorms. Once Izuku got back he saw that almost all of the class was having dinner together.

Momo: oh Izuku we saved you a seat, come and eat with us.

Ochako: yeah have dinner with us.

Izuku: thank you.

Izuku went and eat dinner with the rest of his class and had a nice time with them. After dinner was done most of the class left for the common room while others went to their bedroom leaving Izuku and Momo alone to do the dishes.

Momo: you really don't have to help I can do this on my own.

Izuku: I don't mind help, you were nice enough to save me a spot at the table and some food so this is the least I can do.

The two of them then continued to wash the dishes in silence for a little bit till Momo decided to speak again.

Momo: so you rushed off after class, what was so important that you had to leave so quickly?

Izuku: oh I had to go talk to principal Nezu about so things.

Momo: what did you need to talk to him about?

Izuku: I was just asking him to help me improve mentally.

Momo: why would you do that you're already one of the smartest in the class?

Izuku: I know that but that doesn't mean that I don't need to improve.

Once again it got quite for a few minutes until Momo spoke.

Momo: Izuku I know you're doing this, pushing yourself so hard I mean because you made a promise but don't you think that sometimes you push yourself to far?

Izuku: no I really don't, in fact I don't think I pushed myself far enough.

Momo: but if you push to hard you could.......

Izuku: Momo.

Momo: yes.

Izuku: because I didn't have a quirk I was powerless to save my father and I had to watch him die right in front of my eyes. As he was dying he was still more worried about weather I was safe. That feeling powerlessness and fear is why I do this to myself. I want to make sure that no child will ever have to go through that.

Momo: Izuku you're only one man.

Izuku: that is why I have to become more then just a man in the villains eyes and to do that I need to keep on pushing myself to be the best.

Izuku then got close to Momo, a lot closer then she expected making it to were she had a blush on her face and leaned down next to her ear and whispered to her.

Izuku: thank you Momo for your concern but I will be fine.

After that Izuku and Momo went back and finished cleaning the dishes in silence. After the dishes Izuku took a shower and went back to his room only to find Momo already laying in his bed.

Izuku: and what bring you here?

Momo: to sleep.

Izuku: and you don't want to sleep in your own bed?

Momo: not to night.

Izuku: I see.

Izuku then shut off the lights and crawled into his bed with Momo who immediately cling to him as soon as he got in and whispered into his ear.

Momo: I can't stop you from pushing yourself but I will do my best to help you along the way.

Izuku: you don't need to do that.

Momo: heroes don't need to help people, they do it because they want to and I want to help you.

Izuku: you are going to be an amazing hero.

Momo: so are you.

After that Momo fell asleep but Izuku was still awake think about what she said.

Izuku mind: I'm not sure if I will be an amazing hero.
