Stranded

"Barry!"

I slowly started to become aware.

"Barry!"

That voice. I know that voice.

"Barry!"

The voice sounded so far away.

"Barry!"

It sounded worried. Why was it worried.

"Sh*t."

Well that's not a very nice thing to say.

"Barry open your eyes."

So bossy. But I opened my eyes anyway.

"Ollie?" I asked.

***** EARLIER *****

I was walking around town, enjoying the nice autumn weather. But of course, my pleasant walk was disrupted.

I sighed and answered my phone, not bothering to check the caller ID, "Who is it?"

"Barry-"

"Felicity?"

"Yes Barry. Now, how fast can you get to Starling City?" (A/N- I don't know when it turns to Star City. Sorry.)

I sped into the rolling chair, swiveling to look at Felicity.

"Do you even have to ask?"

Felicity rolled her eyes. "Well," she said, "Now that you're here, can we have your assistance?"

"Yeah. What do ya need?"

"We've got some trouble on Lian Yu." Oliver said, walking in.

"Hey Ollie." I said. I thought for a half a second, "Wait, Lian Yu where you lived for five years?"

"Do you know any other Lian Yu's?" Oliver asked.

I raised my hands in surrender. "Lemme just give Joe a call."

I quickly called Joe and grabbed the suit I kept at the Arrow Cave.

"You coming slowpoke?" Oliver asked.

"Slowpoke?" I said, raising an eyebrow.

Oliver smiled and gestured for me to come on.

I followed Oliver and asked, "So... how are we getting there? A boat?"

"Nope. A private jet."

"Ah."

***** LINE BREAK *****

Fifteen minutes later, we were flying above the world, on our way to a dangerous island. Wonderful.

"So, what's the trouble?" I finally asked.

"We got word that there's still mirakuru (No idea how to spell it) serum on the island." Oliver told me. "We need to get rid of it."

I nodded. Then I frowned, "What if people are already there?"

"Then we keep it from them."

"What if they have it."

"Then we take it from them. Barry is this your way of trying to find out if I'm going to kill anyone?"

I shrugged, "Maybe."

Oliver rolled his eyes.

We kept normal conversation going for a while. Well, normal for a vigilante that has super speed and a vigilante that acts like robin hood. Then, the plane gave a shudder and the lights flickered.

Oliver and I looked at each other.

"We're almost there right." I said.

Oliver nodded, "We should be landing any minute."

Then the plane gave one last shudder and turned completely off. I raced up to the pilot to see what was happening. Yeah... he was dead. (No idea how he died, I just needed the plane to crash. Bare with me guys.)

I was just about to shout back to Oliver, when we hit something, and the plane snapped in two. Oliver in one half, me in the other.

Next thing I know, I feel a searing pain in my shoulder and everything is black.

Oliver POV

My eyes snapped open. I looked around and surveyed the crash. This was very bad. I need to check on Barry.

Barry!

I searched around frantically for my friend.

Sh*t sh*t sh*t sh*t sh*t!

I needed to find Barry.

I grabbed my bow, which was thankfully still intact, and my pack. Then I prayed that Felicity would notice our jet blinking out of existence and find a way to bring us home.

I started making my way through the thicket. Surely the other half of the plane didn't go too far. I came across a piece of debris and knew I was headed in the right direction. I started calling for Barry.

"Barry!" I called.

"Barry!"

The debris was getting thicker, and I could smell smoke.

I found the rest of the plane and searched harder for Barry. I found the pilot, who was dead.

"Barry!

"Barry!

I saw a limp figure slumped by a tree. Barry. I ran towards him and noticed a piece of shrapnel sticking out of his right shoulder.

"Sh*t." I said.

Barry's eyes were closed. Don't be dead. Don't be dead. Dear god please don't let him be dead. He was breathing.

Oh thank god.

"Barry open your eyes."

He peeled his eyes open slowly, "Ollie?"

"Yeah Bar, it's me." I said.

I needed to get that metal out of his shoulder. I pulled out some bandages from my bag and some water. It would have to do.

I tore off one of my sleeves and bunched it up. "Bite on this Barry. This is going to hurt... a lot."

Barry bit down, and I yanked the shrapnel out of Barry's shoulder. He screamed, and I just wanted to comfort him.

"I'm sorry Barry. I'm so sorry."

I poured some water on it, cleaning it as best I could before wrapping it up.

Barry had tears streaming down his face. He whimpered as I put pressure on the wound. I kept apologizing over and over. I finally got it wrapped up sufficiently. I really hoped Felicity or someone was on their way.

It hurt me to see the man I considered my brother in so much pain.

"You'll be alright, Barry." I said, helping him to his feet.

I got us settled in a secure part of the destroyed jet that would protect us from wind and rain. I knew it would get cold, but there wasn't much I could do about that. We didn't have any blankets or jackets, and I knew Barry didn't do well with the cold.

I sent more silent prayers and propped Barry against my chest.

"We'll be alright." I whispered. "Go ahead and rest."

I stroked Barry's hair and watched as his eyes drooped shut.

Someone find us.

Back to Barry POV

Beep beep beep.

Oh. I know that sound.

Beep beep beep.

That all too familiar sound.

I felt something rub my hand.

"You with us Bar?"

I peeled open my eyes. My gaze landed on a blond archer.

"Ollie?" I said.

"Hey Bar."

"Wha' happened?" I grumbled.

"A lot of sh*t."

"That's not a very nice word."

Oliver chuckled. "Well, we crashed. You got impaled. You almost died. So..."

"A lot of sh*t." I said.

Oliver nodded.

"I guess the impaled part explains the pain in my shoulder." I said.

"Glad you're back."

"Me too."

A/N- I honestly had no idea what I was doing with this one, if you didn't notice. If you think it's a garbled mess, that's cause it is. If you don't? Well, good for you. :)

Tomorrow's thing-a-ma-gig is Bruises.

Thank's for reading! Love y'all! :)
