Manhandling

Not really sure what kind of warnings to give. I don't think there really are any.

*********

It was a pretty normal day at the precinct. There were only minor crimes and an average amount of paperwork. It was normal. It was nice.

Barry sat at his desk, playing with some chemicals, something he didn't often hive time to do anymore between superhero-ing and working.

He fiddled with the chemicals, and ended up making some sort of blue goo. It was very fascinating. (A/N- I was so tempted to put "Astonishing". Results of binge watching Legends of Tomorrow :P)

Barr shoved the vial of his substance in his pocket and headed downstairs to see if there was anything else he was needed for before heading to STAR labs. Barry's footsteps slowed, though, as he neared the bottom of the staircase.

Littering the precinct were several military officers. Barry frowned, trying to figure out why the military was here again. His frown deepened when he saw General Eiling step out into the open.

"Mr. Allen." He said. "Good to see you again."

"Sorry, I can't say the same." Barry said slowly.

Eiling smirked and made a motion to his officers. Suddenly, Barry had officers on either side of him, grabbing his arms and dragging him down the stairs.

Barry started struggling, trying to get out of their grip.

"Let go of me!" Barry shouted.

Police officers were hustling about, a few drew their guns.

"The hell do you think you're doing!" Joe shouted running towards them. He quickly pressed his distress button.

"Eiling, what is the meaning of this?" Singh asked, clearly angry.

Barry continued to struggle, but the officers had really strong grips. "Get your hands of me." Barry snarled.

Eiling walked up to Barry and stuck something in his neck. Barry's vision blurred as he became dizzy and started to sway. Then, Barry fell unconscious, limp in the soldiers' grasps.

"What did you do to him!" Joe yelled.

"Just something to keep him from running away," Eiling said with a smirk.

Singh was a bit confused, but he knew that one of his colleagues was being rough housed by the military for no good reason.

"General, you cannot come in here and assault a member of the force." Singh said.

"I can do whatever the hell I want," Eiling said, "And I'm going to take Mr. Allen here, because he can be very useful to me."

"Mr. Allen has rights!" Singh shouted, "you can't just take him."

"He doesn't have rights," Eiling snarled, "Humans have rights. He isn't human."

Everyone, other than Joe, frowned in confusion.

Singh threw a glance at Joe. He noticed that he looked both angry and worried, but not at all confused or shocked.

"What do you mean?" Singh asked.

"Your CSI here is a meta. He's a mutant." Eiling explained.

"He's still human!" Joe shouted. "He's a better man than you'll ever be. Now let him go or I'll shoot."

Singh whipped his head around to see Joe. Joe had his gun leveled at Eiling, steely determination in his eyes.

"Joe," Singh hissed, "don't."

Eiling laughed, but his laugh was cut short when a blue blast knocked him off his feet. A few more blasts and a punch from Joe had the men who were holding Barry down. Joe smiled as Caitlin came through Cisco's portal.

"Damn it." Cisco said, "It is Eiling."

Caitlin made a disgusted face. "I really hate him." Then she ran over to Barry, "What happened?"

"Eiling did something to him," Joe said, "He put something in him that knocked him out."

Caitlin frowned and turned to Joe, "Can you handle things here?"

Joe nodded.

Caitlin gave a curt nod and gestured for Cisco to open a portal. The two hauled Barry though, and Joe faintly heard Cisco say, "Man, he is heavier than he looks."

The portal closed and Singh turned to Joe.

"Care to explain?"

A/N- Yeah, I know I really suck at conclusions. They are honestly the hardest part of writing for me. Hope you liked it! Tomorrow, Barry is going to be bedridden.

Love y'all! :)
