Kidnapped

Barry POV

Apparently, a lot of people didn't like the police station.

And once word got out that they had basically hired a kid, though I am most certainly not, a lot of people wanted to make the station suffer.

By kidnapping the 'little brother' as everyone put it.

I groaned as I came back to the land of the living. I felt something rough around my wrists, and I knew it was rope. I felt it at my ankles too. I peeled open my eyes and looked around to see stone walls. Typical.

As my gaze landed on a wood door behind me, a person walked in. It was a woman with long blonde hair and a rather petite figure. She had green eyes and very red lips. She was much better looking than my last kidnapper.

"Hello Barry Allen," she said.

"Hi." I said, "Yeah, can we just skip the whole introduction stuff? I've heard it all already."

The woman narrowed her eyes at me, "But you don't know who I am."

"Well, this is the third time I've been kidnapped this week. It's getting old."

The woman seemed a bit surprised, "You are not like the other people I've taken."

"Well thanks." I said sarcastically.

"I don't care for your sarcasm, buster." She said, thrusting a finger at my chest, "You're just a string bean with no family."

I scoffed, "Congratulations! You're wittier than the bully that tormented me in third grade."

She slapped me across the face. I gotta admit, it kinda hurt. But it certainly wasn't the wort thing I've felt. I just shook my head and did that vibrating thing with my lips.

"You are a strange kid."

I groaned, "I am not a kid! I'm 20 years old for crying out loud!"

"That's not really helping your argument."

"Shut up."

The woman raised an eyebrow and slapped me again.

"Have you even sent a ransom video or whatever to the CCPD?" I asked, "I know how this rolls. By now, I bet they've already tracked my phone that you conveniently forgot to take out of my pocket."

Then, I heard shouts outside. I grinned, "Well speak of the devil."

The woman growled and punched me a couple times. That hurt more than her slaps, cause damn she had pointy knuckles.

The door burst open.

"CCPD! Put our hands in the air!" I heard the familiar voice of Captain Singh shout.

They cuffed the woman, and Joe and the Captain came and untied me.

I rubbed my wrists, "Took you guys long enough."

Singh raised his eyebrow, "You good Allen?"

"I'm great." I said, "A little bit tired of this whole routine we got going though. I didn't think my job would involve this much kidnapping."

Singh rolled his eyes and walked away.

Barry looked at Joe, "Are you guys practicing kidnapping scenarios or something?"

"Nah," Joe said, "this is just your luck."

I scoffed again, "You could say that again."

Joe laughed, "Let's go home. I'm making Grandma Ester's lasagna."

I grinned, "Yum."

"Try not to get kidnapped on the way home."

"Shut up."
