Neverland...

The land of dreams and eternal youth...

I wiped my tears as we drove down the road, it was windy, but felt amazing against my skin. I kept staring at the green lands as we drove, how peaceful it must be to live in a warm house, gardening everyday, taking care of plants and have them give you vegetables and fruits in return. How wonderful does that sound?!!

I looked up at the clouds, they looked like cotton pads, I wanted to fly up and jump between them, they'd feel like a soft pillow. It made me feel a glimpse of comfort and joy.

I still wanted to see Sam when I go back home though, but I know only in my dreams we'll meet again.

It's hard to accept that he's gone... I will never be able to do that...

After almost an hour, Tristan stopped the car at the side of the road.

I looked around, green huge fields surrounded me.

''Where are we?'' I asked looking around, ''Somewhere you will love'' he said getting out of the car, ''After you'' he said gesturing for me to walk forward...

I saw a board with a ''Do You Believe?'' written on it...

''Believe what?'' I asked, ''If you believe, walk forward. If you don't believe'' he held my waist and pushed me forward, ''You keep going forward'' he said, ''Come on'' he said running, I walked faster to catch him when a sign stopped me.

It was a Neverland sign...

Tristan placed a paper in front of me...

''What's this'' I took it from him, ''A map to Neverland... I saw Sam work on it in the bookstore, he never told me what it was, until I found it in his room'' he said, ''Come on'' he continued walking.

We stepped into this magical place, so green and full of flowers and rivers everywhere.

I remember a song that said 'Soon enough we reached Neverland. Peacefully my feet hit the sand'.

It felt exactly the same...

I felt tears on my cheeks.

''When you... were hospitalized, I visited Sam in your apartment, he made me promise him something. He said you always had this Neverland poster in your room, and that he needed to take you to Neverland. I always wondered why he always wanted to make things for you and he told me 'Edeline is the kind of person who would do the same if I was in crisis and she is in crisis right now. As long as I keep doing things and make her happy. I will be happy as well'. ''When I saw you on that bed and...'' he paused and swallowed, it was hard for him to speak.

''I was heart broken, and I thought he might never get to take you there. I apologized to Sam and told him I couldn't help, he was upset and called me a coward. Later after you woke up, he sent me a message saying that his grandmother got sick and that if anything happened and he wasn't able to come back. I must bring you here''

I saw her face as I spoke. She kept staring at the ground, then the sky. Preventing herself from crying but she couldn't.

Tears kept falling down, but I had to do this..

For Sam...

And She would've hated me if I didn't tell her.

''When we were here... he wrote a message and placed it in a bottle. He mentioned how much you loved Nicholas Sparks so he did a 'Message in A Bottle' kind of thing'' I said and walked her towards the river.

A bottle was hidden between the rocks...

She took out the message and opened it.

'Edeline,

If you're reading this, it means we (Tristan & I) have succeeded into bringing you here. It's kind of like a getaway from all the drama you're living in. you don't deserve that shit. You deserve to be happy and live your life healthy and sane.

Now, after reading this sentence, you should turn around and see me behind you with Tristan and Maya waiting to swim in the lake and eat and have the best time of our lives.

She turned around...

I turned to look behind me...

Sam wasn't there...

I looked in front of me...

Tristan was standing with sad eyes.

I ran into him...

I can't breath...

''It's gonna be alright'' Tristan whispered.

He held me tight as if I'm gonna suddenly disappear...

''He should've been here'' I whispered...

''I know'', ''Thank you Tristan'' I said trying to show gratitude...

I was a jerk to him lately, and yet he did this for me.
