Edeline

I walked around town and there was this alley that had blue roses at the end of it. I wanted to check it out, it looked like a garden.

The garden was... Small, but smelled fresh.
It was a rose garden.
Roses everywhere.
Pink roses, red roses, violets, lavender, and even blue roses. My favorite.

I took one blue rose, but didn't notice the thorns.
And of course.
I scratched my hand while trying to cut the rose off.

"Hey are you alright? You're bleeding" Maya said, I was surprised she was here "oh, hey... yeah it's nothing" I said whipping the blood off, ''I was reading. I like reading here, the quiet is tempting'' she said, ''I can see that. it's really beautiful'' I said.

Detective Hill

I was driving around town looking for the suspect I found, he could be lurking somewhere waiting to hunt down his next victim. He tends to snatch them from gardens and parks.

I saw two girls sitting alone in the Tiffany garden, I took a closer look, it was Edeline, and Maya.

she knows Maya too?!!

I parked the car and walked silently trying to listen to them.

"I think you can help me find Derek. My family gave up on him, but I can't. He was always there for me. I need to be there for him too" Maya said, "I don't know if I can be much help Maya" Edeline said, ''Maybe we can start by looking into his stuff in your apartment'' Maya said.

I don't remember a Derek, but he must've meant something to Maya.

Edeline

She looked desperate, and I did too. I want to find Derek to see what happened with him and mom. I just don't know how to start the search.

''Maybe we can meet again and talk this over'' she said gathering her things, ''That would be great'' I smiled, ''I'll call you'' she smiled and left.

The garden was too quiet now that she left. I looked at the roses, they were dying. I guess no one took care of this garden for a long time.

I took out a bottle of water and sprayed some on as many roses as I could. They were too beautiful to die too soon.

I heard a ringtone beside a wall. There was someone standing behind the wall. I was scared it could be the killer.

Detective Hill

My boss called and now Edeline heard and she's looking for the sound. I hid behind the wall waiting for her to get up and leave.

''Detective Hill? GOD!!! you scared the hell out of me. I thought you were the killer'' she placed her hand on her chest, ''That's why I was here. To see if he shows up'', ''well, good luck'' she said leaving the place, ''wait... what did you and Maya talk about?'', ''I believe it's only her business'', ''I heard something about Derek. Who's he?'', ''look detective, you don't have to worry about that. Just worry about the killer'' she insisted not to tell me, ''and it's my business that this town stays safe. Now tell me, Who's this Derek'', ''trust me he ain't the killer'' she walked towards the exit, ''And what makes you so sure. Look at me'' I held her arm, ''let me go'' she demanded and pushed my hand away.

Edeline

He kept asking many questions I was getting a headache.

''look... '' I was about to tell him everything, but I was cut off by Eric calling. Oh thank god.
