BEAUTIFUL SOUNDSΒ

of the piano Celeste played, echoed though the hallways of the school. Nathan sat next to her and kept eyeing the piano sheets he had written himself and Beth battled to get her violin on her shoulder correctly. The thing that really tied these three together was their love and passion for music. Celeste was an excellent pianist, Beth possessed the talent of playing violin and Nathan was an incredible composer.

"This is really amazing Nate," Celeste sighed when she stopped playing. "Really."

"I agree, you're getting even better than you already are," Beth smiled and adjusted the strings of her violin.

"Thanks," Nathan blushed and put his sheets away. "Although there's always room to improve."

"Obviously," Beth grinned and shook her head playfully. "You're always so hard on yourself Nate."

"That's very much true," Celeste said and turned to Nathan. "Be proud of yourself."

"I'll try," Nathan laughed and carefully nudged Celeste's upper arm.

"Now that we are alone, are we going to talk about Dumbledore's army?" Beth asked and frowned her dark eyebrows. "Personally I think it's a great idea but I'm also a bit hurt, I mean they weren't sure wether or not to trust us."

"Don't be so dramatic Beth," Nathan rolled his eyes. "But I agree, it's a great idea."

"Yes and I'm for once very excited to bend the rules a little bit," Celeste smiled.

"Yes and we have lots and lots of free time coming up because everyone else are going to take the O.W.Ls," Nathan pointed out.

"Mmm can't wait til next year to take ours," Beth said and placed her violin down on the floor.

"Are you being sarcastic or not?" Nathan smirked. "Because I honestly can't tell."

"Both," Beth laughed and made the other two laugh as well. "But really it can't possibly be that awful, these English people just like to exaggerate everything."

"We'll see about that when you're freaking out this time next year," Celeste shoved her tongue out.

"Very mature Cele, very mature," Beth chuckled.

"Who ever said that Celeste is mature?" Nathan cracked a smile.

"Oh my God! You two are horrible," Celeste pretended to be hurt.

"No we're not awful, we're just truthful," Nathan teased Celeste and started to tickle her.

"Sure thing! You are just pure evil," Celeste said between her laughs.

Suddenly a dark figure approached the trio, making Nathan stop tickling Celeste. They all observed closely when the dark figure got close and closer to them until they realized that it was Severus Snape.Β

"What is the meaning of this?" Snape asked and pointed at the instruments.Β

"Oh I'm sorry Professor Snape, we were just playing some," Celeste apologized and pierced her golden eyes into Snape's.

Snape stared at the girl very closely before opening his mouth, "Alright then, behave," he said and looked at each youngster with an unamused look on his face. "Miss Starling, may I speak with you? In private."

Celeste frowned her eyebrows and glanced at her friends before looking back at Snape.Β

"Sure," she managed to say and got up. Snape guided Celeste to the hallway but before talking to her he looked around to make sure no-one was listening.Β

"So for my understanding you're from America?" Snape asked.

Celeste was confused by the Professor's question, she thought that he'd asked her about Dumbledore's army or something more irrelevant. "Umm yes, that is correct," Celeste said.

"I mean you're from Ilvermorny but are you originally from America?" Snape explained his question.

"Yes," Celeste answered.

"Yes?"

"Yes, Professor Snape. I'm American," she said and tried not to get frustrated by Professor's personal questions. The truth of course was that she didn't know if she was American or not but she didn't feel like telling Snape anything.Β

"Oh, I see," Snape sighed and looked slightly uncomfortable.

"May I ask you, why are you so interested about my past?"

"Just curious, you're very talented witch. I thought it might have something to do with your family line."

"Yes, well my parents are pureblood wizards, "Celeste said and bit the inside of her cheek. "May I go now?"

"Yes of course. Have a nice day Miss Starling," Snape said to her before she disappeared among the other students.

Β Snape watched as the blond girl ran back to her friends and glanced back at him a few times before leaving the hallways. He wasn't sure was asking those questions the best or the right choice but he couldn't help than wonder if the girl he had just spoken to was his close friend's daughter. But according to the information he has received, Celeste Starling was a daughter of two pureblood American wizards, not the Malfoys.Β

CELESTEΒ

and her friends used the floo to the Weasley resident on one Wednesday evening after the other fifth year student had finished their second last O.W.L exam. Celeste carefully knocked on the Weasley's door and waited for someone to open it. A very warm looking and smiling woman opened the door and immediately threw her arms around Celeste.

"Oh welcome! You must be Celeste," Mrs. Weasley said before pulling away from the hug. "And you two must be Nathan and Annabeth," she said and hugged each.

"Yes," all three said in unison.

"Now come in, come in," Mrs. Weasley instructed the trio and guided them inside.Β

The Burrow was somehow quite small comparing to the fact that the Weasley family was big but you could clearly feel the warmth and love in the air. The interior of the home was very odd and peculiar which made it really homey as well.Β

"You have a lovely home Mrs. Weasley," Celeste smiled as she walked behind Molly.

"Thank you dear, and please just call me Molly," Molly insisted. "Now come on children, before everyone else eats the goods away."

"Hey everyone!" Beth squealed when they sat down by the table where Ron, Hermione and Harry were already eating their dinner.

"Hello," Harry, Hermione and Ron said in unison.

"So, how were your O.W.L's? Beth over here can't wait for ours," Nathan asked and teased Beth.

"I think they went well," Hermione said. "At least I tried my best but we still have one more to go."

"And your best means that you'll probably get the highest scores," Ron snored.

"Ronald Weasley!" Molly said sharply and gave her son a disapproving look.

"We'll see," Hermione smiled.

"So, I've heard a lot about you three from my children but I'd like to hear something from you," Molly said and sat down.

"Oui, what do you want to know?" Celeste smiled at Molly and her husband Arthur who was now standing next to his wife.

Β After talking with the Weasleys for several hours and telling about their life, everyone went outside to see the night sky.

"The sky is very beautiful in here at this time," Arthur explained and pointed at the sky. The stars were shining brighter than ever, the moon was at its fullest and you could see shooting stars. Celeste stared at the sky in awe when she slowly started to fall into a trance.

"Look mama, it's a shooting star," little Celeste saidΒ and pointed at the sky. She wasΒ comfortablyΒ curled up into her mother's arms while her mother brushed her hair. TheyΒ were sitting on a bigΒ comfortable armchair which was placed just inΒ front of the window so they could do their every night routine; spotting shooting stars, cuddling andΒ brushing their hair.

"Yes it is," her mother sighed and kissed the top of the girl's head, "My little love?" Her mother whispered.

"What mama?" Celeste asked and tangled her fingers to her mother's free hand.

"I love you so veryΒ much," she saidΒ and buried her face into the girl's hair. "My special girl."

"I love you too so very much," CelesteΒ said and curled evenΒ closer to her mother's chest.

"Celeste? Dear are you alight?" Molly asked when she saw tears pouring from Celeste's eyes.

Celeste snapped out of her thoughts and turned to Molly. "I-I don't know," she said and started to cry. Molly quickly wrapped her arms around the girl and tried to soothe her.

Nathan and Beth saw the action and immediately ran to their best friend. "Cele what is it?" Nathan asked. Celeste let got of Molly and turned to Nathan and Beth.

"I had another memory," she cried and buried her palms to her eyes.

"Oh Celeste..." Beth sighed and hugged her best friend. "D-did you see...?

"No," Celeste said, knowing that Beth was about to ask if she saw any faces.
