HOLIDAYS

came and went. It was definitely a time when Celeste was truly happy once again, not thinking about her unfortunate life. Celeste spent every hour of the day talking with her uncle and Liv, her best friends, aunt Andromeda and cousin Tonks, gushing over the fact that her cousin was about to have a child.

Celeste teased Tonks about naming the child after her, if it was to be a girl. When there was so much darkness in the world, she was glad that there was some happiness like a new addition to the family. Celeste had also gotten to know Remus Lupin a little better. She had already met him some time ago but never really got to know him, but now she did and she absolutely adored him. He was so sweet, yet mysterious and very caring. He was a very important person in Harry's life now, especially after Sirius' death. But the main point; Celeste was happy-ish.

Speaking of happiness, Beth and Nathan all stayed. Celeste was happy about it but scared as well. What if something would happen to them? She would never be able to forgive herself. But then again having them with her, she feels less homesick. Homesick either to her life in America or to her parents and brother. Celeste sighed, she was doing Beth's hair while Nathan wrote a new composed piece to his notebook. She has missed this. All three of them, spending time together like in the olden days.ย

"Are you sure your parents won't be upset that you're staying here a little longer? I mean it is quite dangerous," Celeste broke the silence in the room, making Beth and Nate turn towards her. "The last time, they basically dragged you back to America..."

Nathan sighed and placed his notebook side. "Mine weren't too happy but they adore you and understood my loyalty to you," he explained.

"Mine as well. Also Will and Olivia promised to keep us safe," Beth continued, moving herself closer to Celeste and placing her head on her shoulder.

"If only a promise would keep you safe," Celeste sighed pouting. "Things are getting worse every day."

"Yes but things aren't that great in America either," Nathan reminded Celeste whom he had sent letters for the past months. The war wasn't only affecting England, it was affecting everyone and everywhere.ย

Celeste nodded, she understood this but anywhere was better than in England now. "There's nothing I can say to make you leave and get to safety?"

Beth shook her head chuckling. "You're stuck with us. I'd thought you already knew this."

"I knew that," Celeste said and cracked a smile. "But honestly, I've missed you so much. Everything has changed but having you here is really making everything better."

"We do have that affect on you," Nathan smirked, making both of the girls laugh.ย

"And I'm soย extremely glad about it," Celeste grinned widely but her happy face turned into a frown. "But you're leaving, right? You won't be staying here too long."

Nathan pressed his lips into a thin line before speaking. "I will fight with my parents when it comes to my return. I don't want to leave you here."

Celeste jumped up from the bed. "But you have to leave in few days, please. I don't want to see either one of you getting hurt," she expressed her concerns. "Or I'll personally drag you back there."

Beth tried to hold her laughter, the matter was serious but the image of Celeste dragging her and Nathan to America was quite hilarious. Out of all the three, Celeste was not the strongest one, physically. Mentally, she was the strongest person Beth has ever known. She was sure Celeste was the strongest person in the entire world.ย

Who would still be so sane after everything? Being kidnapped, adopted parents died, finding the truth about her true family, meeting them and then ignoring them. Then finally accepting everything, and then loosing them to the war. Celeste was the strongest. And yet, Beth started to laugh by the thought of her friend with flower sticks as arms dragging them to America.

"W-what?" Celeste asked when Beth started to laugh.

"I think the image of you dragging us to America is quite funny," Nathan said before bursting into a laughter as well. "And it really is!"

"Hah," Celeste huffed but couldn't hide her. "I am being serious, you guys. I don't want you to stay if it means you are in harms away."

Nathan grimaced. "But so are you."

"Thank you brother, for reminding me but it wouldn't even matter where I am, I will be in danger anyway," explained Celeste, earning a concerned look from Beth. "I will be fine Beth."

"You don't know that. I also don't know that anything bad will happen to us if we stay," said Beth.

Celeste sighed. "Yes but I want you two to stay safe. I can't make uncle Will and Liv leave because hell will freeze over before that happens. So at least I can make sure you're safe."

"So you are dragging us to America?" Smirked Nathan, making the two girls laugh.

While the three best friends laughed, Andromeda and Olivia talked in the kitchen, both sipping their teas while their husbands were building a crib for Tonks' unborn baby.ย

The two aunts had hit off immediately. They were very much alike, they looked alike as well. Both of them were warm, funny and loved to tease Celeste. They both also loved her deeply, even Andromeda who hasn't known Celeste for too long.ย

A FEW DAYS

went by and it was time for Beth and Nathan to leave once again. So in honor of everything, the Tonks' and their American guests decided to have a last dinner together. Celeste was naturally very sad about saying goodbye to her friends and tante yet again, but she needed them to be safe. She couldn't assure safety for her parents, so this was the best she could at the moment.ย

Beth and Nathan helped Olivia and Andromeda to set table while Celeste was laying in her bed. She had been reading a book for hours, trying to distract herself from the fact that she hasn't heard anything from Hermione and the others. It was quite scary, not to hear anything from them. After all, they were still children, the same age as Celeste. Then she realized, she hasn't heard anything from her parents either. She understood that it was for her own safety but she just wanted to know something, hear something.ย

Suddenly she heard a knock on the door. She closed her book and placed it on the nightstand in her new room at the Tonks residence.ย

"Yes," she said and pulled herself to sit. A wide smile appeared on her face when she noticed Leo walking in.ย

"Hey you," she chuckled.

"You okay?" Asked Leo.

Celeste nodded. "Yeah, I just haven't read in awhile."

"Bookworm," grinned Leo.

He walked over to Celeste and kissed her before sitting down on the bed. "Your aunts said dinner will be ready in ten minutes," Leo informed her and kissed her gently but instead placing the kiss on her lips, he moved to her neck.

Celeste grinned even wider and found her hands traveling from Leo's hair to his back.

"Oh," Celeste grinned against Leo's lips before kissing him once again.ย

She wrapped her arms around Leo's neck and pushed him to lay on the bed but then the door opening with a big slam and Tonks was standing by the doorway. Celeste shrieked, and jumped up, separating herself from Leo.

Tonks smirked. "The dinner is ready," she said, biting her cheek from laughing.ย

Celeste was red like a tomato. She just stared at the floor before speaking.ย

"Umm...I-I thought it wasn't ready yet," she stuttered and glanced at Leo who was no standing next to her.

"Yeah but dad and Will thought I could come and get you a bit early. I think it was a good idea," Tonks said and tilted her head slightly. "You two weren't planning on doing anything, were you?"

"No!" Celeste said so quickly and little bit too loudly because Ted and Will ran to her room with a confused look written all over his face.

"What happened? Are you all right?" Will asked from Celeste who nodded.

"Yes uncle Will, everything is all right. I think I just saw a spider," Celeste said, feeling so awkward right now. "So the dinner's ready?" She asked, trying her hardest to change the subject.

Ted nodded. "Yes, come now," he smiles and walked out of the room, Tonks following him.ย

William however stayed, his arms crossed over his chest.ย

"You coming?" He asked, arching his brow. "Or is this mysterious spider still bothering you?"

Celeste rolled her eyes, grabbed Leo's hand and walked downstairs, William following the couple.

When they arrived at the kitchen, the dining table was filled with amazing foods but what made it even more special, these were Celeste's favorite foods. With a squeal, she ran to her aunts and gave them a big hug and kissed their cheeks. Then she turned to look at her best friends, the two people who've always been there for her. They were the ones who helped and encouraged her to find her family and were there every step of the way. She swallowed her tears and hugged them tightly.ย

"This is amazing," Celeste said when she let go of her friends.

"Well you made it clear that you're staying here, so we thought we could bring some of my family's foods which you so love, here," Olivia said, making Celeste turn towards her. "Plus, I still think English food is dreadful."

Celeste chuckled and sat down by the table. She watched as everyone talked eagerly, laughing and joking around. She carefully placed her fingers on her necklace which she has had forever. It was the necklace from her parents, and she thought about them and her brother.ย

Maybe when all this is over, they'll be here, sitting by the table and laughing. They wouldn't have to worry about the safety of their children. Celeste knew how almost everyone saw her parents; awful, evil beings. But they weren't, they were her parents and she was going to be reunited with them. She wasn't going to send another twelve years apart from them.
