THE MALFOY MANOR

was huge AND for Celeste it felt like a castle. She had woken up the next day earlier than anyone else and decided to take another look at the manor all by herself. She had a house tour the first day she came but she was so nerveous that she didn't really pay any attention. She wandered around the corridors of the manor when she heard cries coming from a room which door was slightly ajar. Even though she hasn't known her mother for that long she knew it was her, she has heard her crying too much already.

"Hey," Celeste said and opened the door carefully and was stunned to walk into a little girl's room, her old room. The room was full out white and baby pink with some silver details. There was beautiful dollhouse in the corner of the room and a huge bed that was clearly too big for the four year old child she once was.

Narcissa turned her head the second she heard Celeste's voice coming from the door. She quickly got up from the floor and wiped her tears away.ย

"You're up," she said trying to hide the fact that she's been clearly crying the whole night.

Celeste nodded and walked over to her mother and took her hand. "Please, I need you to stop crying," she sighed and gave her mother a sad smile.

"I know, I just never thought...." Narcissa whispered but couldn't finish.

"That you'll see me again?" Celeste continued softly, not wanting to upset her mother more.

Narcissa nodded biting her lip but couldn't say a word. For the past two days, her life has felt whole again. Not entire whole because her husband who she loved dearly was away but at least both of her children where with her. It was something she had dreamed for years but was too afraid to wish that it would actually become true.ย

Celeste smiled warmly and her smile made Narcissa's heart swell. Celeste was definitely very different from the rest of the Malfoys, purely because she wasn't raised by them but she didn't love her any less.ย

"For what it's worth, I missed you," Celeste said. "Ever since I started to remember things, I missed you but I really need you to stop crying. It can't possibly be healthy to cry this much."

"My sweet girl," Narcissa sighed and placed her hand on Celeste's cheek. "Don't worry about me, and I promise to try and stop crying."

"Thank you," Celeste grinned before she started to walk around the room. "This was my room?"

Narcissa swallowed. "Y-yes," she said weakly. "I know that I said I'll get it fixed but this weekend has been quite overwhelming. But I'll do it before your next visit."

Celeste nodded absent-mindedly which alerted Narcissa. She quickly walked over to Celeste. "You are coming back, aren't you? I know you have your uncle but I'm sure we can arrange something. Right?"

The daughter looked at her mother for a minute, without saying anything. She really hasn't thought about it. She knew that if she wasn't comfortable with her family, she would leave but now she wanted to know them and have a life with them. But she also has a life with her uncle Will and Olivia, and with her best friends Beth and Nathan.

"Y-yes," Celeste stuttered, she had no heart to tell her mother that she wasn't sure. It would absolutely break her, and bedsides the semester wasn't ending anytime soon.

Narcissa noticed her daughter anticipation. "I mean, you just said that you liked being here."

"Yes but I was a little child back then," Celeste grinned, trying to lighten up the mood.

"Oh..." Narcissa sighed and look down at her feet.ย

"It's just that, I haven't really figured out anything yet. I only found out few days ago," Celeste explained. "And it's not just my life that this affects. There are still my uncle, Olivia and friends."

ย And by friends Celeste meant Nathan and Beth but also Hermione, Ron and Harry. How was Celeste going to bring up the fact that she was a Malfoy. She knew that the Malfoys hated them and that the Golden Trio hated the Malfoys. Celeste had silently thanked her lucky stars that Bellatrix hadn't brought up their first which happened when Celeste was with the Golden Trio.

"Of course," Narcissa said and forced a smile on her face. "We should get something to eat," she stated rather quickly and walked to the door. "I hope you still like blueberry pancakes," she said and turned to look at Celeste who still hasn't moved from her spot.

Celeste opened her mouth and quickly said. "Definitely."

Even though she had no memory of liking blueberry pancakes, but she didn't have the heart to tell that to her mother.

AFTER SPENDING THE WEEKEND

with the Malfoys, it was time to go back to Hogwarts. Celeste had just finished her first class of the day when she saw Draco lurking in the corners. Celeste observed her twin brother and something inside her told her that everything wasn't alright. She had to admit it, Draco had acted rather strangely through the whole weekend and so did her mother and aunt. Like they were walking on eggshells the entire weekend. Always making sure that no one was in the room where they were going or that no one was anywhere near them.ย

She knew about her family's entanglement with Voldemort, Celeste had front row seats when she met Bellatrix and Lucius at the Department of Mysteries but she knew that they were still hiding things from her. They haven't really been upfront with their position with Voldemort. It just happened to be something Celeste knew through Harry.

"Draco!" Celeste called after her brother but Draco just turned on his heel and walked further from Celeste.

"Draco!" She called again but he didn't stop. She decided to run after her brother who still didn't stop even though he must had heard Celeste. She ran faster and faster until she finally reached him, in front of the Room of Requirements.ย

"Draco, seriously!" Celeste sighed at her brother who still ignored her.

Celeste was not about to take it so she carefully nudged her brother to his ribs. "Halo!"

"What?" Draco snapped rather loudly, making Celeste jump. He noticed his sister's reaction and lowered his chin. "Sorry," he mumbled.

"What's going on?" Celeste frowned. "You have been completely off the edge ever since this weekend, and so were everyone else in the Manor."

Draco sighed looking around. He thought about what to tell his sister, she must know something already. He heard from their aunt Bellatrix that Celeste was present when their father failed his mission in the Department of Mysteries, and he knew that Celeste is or was a part of Dumbledore's army.ย

"Nothing's going on," he finally managed to say.

Celeste shook her head. "It has something to do with the fact that you are marked as a Death Eater?" She asked and threw Draco completely off the guard.

"W-what, how---?" He stuttered with wide eyes.

"I'm friends with Harry, remember?" She arched her brow and crossed her arms on her chest, looking just like their mother whenever she wants information.ย

"It's nothing Celeste, don't worry," Draco said but kept eyeing the door near them.

"Then you shouldn't be eyeing that door," she stated. "What's in there?"

"Nothing," Draco said more firmly this time, he didn't want to endanger his newly found twin sister. He would never forgive himself if something happens to Celeste, he didn't want her to be any part of his doings. Or rather what he's been made to do.

Celeste narrowed her eyes and took a step closer to Draco. "I know you're lying."

"Listen it doesn't matter. What matters is that you won't do anything."

"Anything about what?" Celeste asked, pushing Draco to tell her the truth. "You know I'm not a baby."

Draco sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "I know but you just aren't really used to this."

"To an overly protective brother?" Celeste grinned playfully. "Please, I have Nate," she reminded Draco.

"We just don't want you to get hurt!" Draco finally gave in, startling Celeste in the progress. Draco noticed the worry in Celeste's eyes, he sighed. "I'm sorry. But it's just that you were taken and we have no idea who did it."

Celeste frowned. "And you think it might had been a Death Eater?"

"I don't know. No one does but it's not a bad idea to be too carefully," Draco explained. "It would absolutely break mother and father if they were ever to loose you again. I won't let that happen."

"Draco..." Celeste sighed and gave him an assuring smile. "I'll be just fine. Don't worry."

Draco shook his head vividly. "You don't know that. You don't know what this is like. Merlin, mother was so worried when you came over to the manor. If something would had happened."

"What do you mean? Draco, you can't keep me in the dark."

"All I'm saying that I need you to be very careful. I need you to lay low and preferably don't shout that you're a Malfoy all over the school. We're not everyone's favorites. Please."

Celeste tilted her head back and let out a loud sigh. "Alright. If it makes you feel better, then fine," and with that Celeste turned on her heel and walked away, leaving Draco to do whatever he had to.
