CELESTE

hit spells everywhere like it was the last thing she was able to do. Leo was doing the same, his back just against Celeste's. The boy wasn't sure what terrified him more, the fact that there was an actual battle going on or the fact that if anything would happen to Celeste, he would most definitely end up dead in the hands of Lucius Malfoy.

With the corner of his eye, he could spot others fighting as fiercely as he and Celeste were. Students dressed in their school uniforms battled against adults who were wearing dark cloaks. Leo could hear Celeste breathing heavily as she hit another spell at someone. He knew she was strong but she has never been one to hurt anyone, he only hoped that this won't traumatize her for life.

Leo grabbed Celeste's hand when there were no more enemies around them and led her into the corridors. The Malfoy girl frowned as she run with Leo but didn't stop, she knew Leo wanted her somewhere safe. She knew that being in the front line wasn't the best idea, she was wanted by Voldemort. Without stopping, Leo found the Room of Requirements and stormed there with Celeste.

He placed his hands on Celeste's shoulders and stared into her deep blue eyes. "I can't have you fighting over there," he said. "You are wanted and the way they were fighting over there, it's not good."

Celeste smiled fondly at her boyfriend and leaned to kiss him. "You're cute when you worry. But you know that I need to do this. I need to help."

"I agree with the boy," came a very familiar voice and Celeste turned around. It was Tonks. The girl sprinted over to her cousin and wrapped her arms around her.

"What the bloody hell are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Andy and Teddy," Celeste asked when she pulled away from Tonks.

Tonks shook her head with a smile that was half sad and half something. "I couldn't stay there, not while Remus is here. Besides, I thought you might need some Tonks power with you."

Celeste grinned. "That's true. It's absolutely awful out there," she sighed, remembering the battle field she had just come from. She slowly turned her head to take a look at the Room of Requirements when she noticed an older woman standing few feet away from her.

"Pardon me, but I don't believe we have me," Celeste said and the woman started to walk towards her. She stopped just in front of Celeste.

"I'm Augusta Longbottom," Mrs Longbottom said. "Neville's grandmother."

"Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you Mrs Longbottom," Celeste said, slightly chuckling. How on Earth did she end up meeting Neville Longbottom's grandmother in the middle of a battle. Before she had another chance to talk to Mrs Longbottom or Tonks, Ginny ran to her.

"You're here!" She gushed happily and hugged Celeste who gladly returned the hug.Β

"I'm so glad, although now that I think about it, it's probably not good for you to be here. Or I don't know, argh I'm such a mess now. Sorry," Ginny mumbled and Celeste just smiled.

"I'm suppose to be here. Don't worry," Celeste said and felt Leo's hand on her shoulder once again. Celeste pulled away from Ginny and smirked at her.

Suddenly footsteps were heard and Harry, Hermione and Ron bursted into the Room. Celeste's eyes widened when she saw her friends whom she hasn't seen since the incident at the Malfoy Manor. Without a second thought, she ran to them and trapped Hermione into a gigantic hug. The Granger girl wrapped her arms around Celeste's torso and sighed.

"I'm so happy to see you all, alive," Celeste whispered.

"We're happy to see you too," Harry said and Celeste turned to him. The Chosen One smiled at her and gave her a quick side hug. "It seems like you've battled there already," he said and pointed at Celeste's upper arm that had a small cut.

"I bet we would want to see the other guy," Ron said.Β

"You kicked their arses, didn't you? I mean you're a Malfoy after all," he continued and Celeste's eyes darkened. Ron immediately took a step closer to her. "I mean in a good way. At least when it comes to you."

"Oh well thank you Ron," Celeste smiled at Ron's kind-ish words. She knew that the youngest Weasley boy was never too good when it came to his words. "Would you care to update us on what's happening?" She asked, her curiosity rising.

"Just visited the Chamber of Secrets," Ron shrugged although there was a certain beam of proudness in his face. "We got something to get rid of Horcruxes," he explained.

Celeste frowned and glanced at Leo who seemed equally confused. She merely smiled at her friend, knowing that this was not the time or place to start asking millions of questions. Harry had moved to speak with Mrs Longbottom and Tonks while Celeste kept talking with Hermione, Leo, Ginny and Ron. In no time, they heard footsteps and just like that, Tonks was gone.

The blond girl turned to Harry with certain worry in her eyes. "What did you say to her?" She asked carefully.

Harry rubbed the back of his neck. "S-she asked about Remus and I told her that he was out there battling and---"

"Shit," Celeste muttered. She understood why Harry had told that to Tonks but she would have preferred her cousin who was a new mother, staying safe but then again, it was Nymphadora Tonks who was even more stubborn than Celeste.Β

"All right then, I guess we should go too," Celeste said and took Leo's hand but the boy shot a worried look at her.

"Cele..."

"You can stay here if you want but I'm going," she said in a dead serious tone.

Leo sighed and pecked Celeste's cheek. "If you're going, so am I," he said.

Celeste graced him with her sweet smile and quickly turned back to her friends. "Be careful, all right? I don't want you to get hurt. Any of you," she said, took Leo's hand again and the couple left the Room, leaving the Golden Trio and Mrs Longbottom there to wonder.

"Never thought I would say this, but I like a Malfoy," Ron said and with that, Hermione chuckled.

Celeste and Leo ran back to the battle field where spells were thrown, people were laying on the ground and cries were heard. Biting her tongue, Celeste focused herself and started to fight again when another spell hit its way to her.

"I bet I will get rewarded if I deliver you to the Dark Lord," a voice came from behind and Celeste was now facing a strange looking man. He wasn't pleasant looking and had a rather big head comparing to the rest of his body. He had his dark cloak on and wand pointing at Celeste.

The Malfoy girl stared at the man, who had his wand pointed at her.

"Expelliarmus," the man screamed and Celeste's wand flew several feet from her.

He then hit a hex at her, and another one and another one before walking closer to her as she was laying on the ground. This man was maniac, he had disarmed a teenage girl, hurt her and now was about to kill her. Celeste glanced around, Leo was fighting against some other Death Eaters and there was no one else to help her. She closed her eyes and thanked Merlin for her life.

"Stupefy!"

Celeste opened her eyes and saw Leo standing in front of the man who tried to kill her. She let out a rapid breath, scrambled on her feet and melted into Leo's arms.

"Y-you just..." Celeste stuttered but Leo only pulled her closer to him.

"Shh shh," Leo calmed the shaken girl. He let her go and pressed a kiss on her temple. "I love you and I would rather die than see you get hurt."

"I love you too" Celeste sighed. "But don't die."

Hogwarts has never looked worse. Walls were destroyed, monumental statues were crumbled on the ground and students and teachers fought side to side to secure some safety. Celeste swallowed, never in million years would she have thought that she was to witness something like this. Something this tragic and suddenly, her own life which was filled with tragedies and deaths, didn't feel so bad after all.Β

She has Leo, her best friends and two aunts who were safely away from all this, her uncle who unfortunately was stubborn and running somewhere and fighting. Celeste also has her family and hopefully they were all right. She pushed her emotions aside again and began to focus on what was going on and then she saw something she begged was not true.

Tonks and Remus.

SHEΒ

felt absolutely disgusted. Without a second thought, she ran. She ran towards them, her wand left behind on the ground. She didn't care. She was done, at this very moment, she was so done with everything. She could hear Leo yelling after her, Leo who had stayed behind to collect her wand. The boyfriend ran after her but Celeste ran faster until she reached her dead cousin and good friend. She fell on her knees and loud sobs filled the air. She screamed. She cursed.

"No! No no!" She screamed and bend to hug her cousin's body. "Please no, Tonks. Please don't do this. Y-you can't...what about Teddy? What about your mum? What about me? Please, open your eyes, I am begging," but nothing happened, Tonks didn't move.Β

"You can't do this Tonks! You hear me! You can't do this. I-I can't loose you. You are needed, damn it!"

"Celeste," Mrs Weasley's voice came. The ginger woman kneeled down and wrapped her arms around Celeste.Β

She soothed the heartbroken girl but she just kept crying louder and louder. "Sweetheart, you're drawing attention. Attention you don't need. Someone will see you and..."

"Then they will," Celeste said loudly, scaring Molly. "Tonks' dead, Molly. She's gone, my cousin is gone. She's gone, she has a son. A little baby boy. What am I going to do? What am I going to tell him? God, what am I going to tell Andy?"

"She has already lost a husband, and now her daughter and son-in-law. So yes, everyone can hear me! Everyone can hear the blood-traitor Malfoy girl! I don't give a damn anymore. My c-co-cousin is dead. Remus is dead. Ted is dead, maman and papa are dead and they have been for years. My mum and dad are probably dead too. And my bother. With my track record, there won't be anyone left after this is over."

Molly swallowed a lump from her throat, her mind wondering back to her son. To her Fred. Celeste was going to be heartbroken, she had always liked him. She bit her tongue from saying anything, maybe she'll wait.

Celeste turned to look at Molly, and finally noticed her tear stained cheeks. "W-who?" She asked, her voice barely there. "Who else Molly?"

"F-Fred," Molly said, a sob escaping her lips.

"N-no," Celeste shook her head but the pain in Molly's eyes told her a different story. "Please Molly no...God, I am so so sorry," she whispered, and wrapped her arms around Molly.

Panting, Leo reached his girlfriend who was crying her heart out in Molly Weasley's arms. He gently placed his hand on Celeste's shoulder and the girl turned to look at him, her face broken. She shook her head over and over again before jumping into Leo's arms.

"F-Fred's gone too," she shocked the words out and Leo turned to look at Molly and gave her an apologizing look.

"I am so sorry Mrs Weasley," Leo said while patting Celeste's back.

Mrs Weasley gave a heartbroken smile to Leo and the boy felt his heart aching as he watched the broken mother. People are dying, his girlfriend could die.

He wrapped his arms tighter around Celeste but then he heard someone yelling the most Unforgivable Curse and he pulled Celeste on the ground. They barely missed it. He quickly stood up again, grabbing Celeste's arm and Mrs Weasley's. He was not about to make her children motherless.

Leo guided them inside where the fighting wasn't as bad at the moment. Mrs Weasley thanked Leo and went to search for her family. Celeste watched as the mother of her good friend's left and turned to Leo. The boy has seen Celeste broken before, many times but now, she was absolutely shattered. There was nothing he could have said to make her feel better. Nothing.

"They are dead too, aren't they?" Celeste managed to ask, burying her face to her palms. "Mummy and daddy are dead too. Draco as well."

"No no," Leo shook his head and took Celeste's hands to his. He placed multiple kisses on them. "They aren't dead love."

"You don't know that," Celeste whispered, her gaze focused on the floor that was filled with dirt and blood.

"Perhaps, but you don't know that they are dead either. So there's a chance."

Celeste sniffed loudly, brining her eyes up to meet Leo's. "People die around me," she said, her voice shaking out of fear. "And it's my fault. I-I don't know why, but it's all my fault," she sobbed, her breathing getting heavier and heavier.

Leo took a hold of Celeste's wrist, tightly but yet carefully. "No. None of these deaths are your fault. You are powerful but you're not God. You are not to be blamed for any of this, and you know it. You just have to cut yourself some slack. You can't save everyone, no matter how hard you try and want," he told her.

"He's right you know," Draco's voice came from behind and Celeste turned around faster than she ever has.

Celeste let out a loud sob, she was sure that her brother had died. She fell on the floor crying.

"Y-you are.. Merlin I was so scared that you had..." she tried to choke the words out but couldn't. She felt Draco helping her up and hugged her tightly.

"I told you, I haven't had the chance to be a brother yet so why would I give up?" He chuckled dryly, causing Celeste cry even more.

"Tonks and Remus are dead. So is Fred," Celeste whispered.

Draco's eyes widened and he glanced at Leo who shook his head sadly.Β

"Oh, I-I'm sorry," Draco said. He knew that Celeste was a friend of Fred and she must have been close with Tonks, especially because she lived with her.

Celeste pulled away from her brother, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "W-where are--?"

"I don't know," Draco swallowed. He knew that Celeste was talking about their parents. "But I'm sure they're fine. Don't worry."

The younger twin nodded, biting her lip. She worried, and she worried a lot. She feared that she might never see her parents again. She feared that she was going to be an orphan again. She feared that she would never receive that sweet kiss to the top of her head which her father always gives her or that warm and loving hug her mother masters.Β

Celeste reached for Draco's hand and held on tightly. She then took Leo's hand as well and placed a kiss on it. She had them, she was not going to loose either one of them.

"NO!" A loud screamed echoed, making Celeste, Draco and Leo sprint over to the voice which belonged to the one and only Professor Minerva McGonagall.
