JUST A WEEK AFTERΒ

finding out about her past, March 1st came along and it was time to celebrate Ron Weasley's seventeenth birthday. Celeste was still very sure that she wanted a relationship with her family but she knew that she needed to tell her friends that she was a Malfoy. The thought of telling them has haunted her for a week now. Hermione has been suspicious, she has noticed Celeste talking to Draco more than usual. More than the Golden Trio would want her to. They weren't controlling, they just have known Draco for years and they knew that the Malfoys were rotten to core. Or at least thats what they think.

Celeste, Nathan and Beth entered the library where Ron, Harry and Hermione were already waiting.Β

"Hey!" Celeste greeted them happily, trying to hide her nervousness.Β

"Happy birthday Ron!" Beth smiled and sat down with her present. "This is from all of us," she said and gave the present to Ron.

Ron opened the present from Beth, it was the newest and best broom money could bought. The birthday boy's eyes grew wider than they ever have.Β

"Bloody hell," he gasped before turning to the American Trio. "Thank you so much. You shouldn't have..."

"Don't mention it," Nathan smirked and took a chocolate frog from the table.

After celebrating Ron, the two trios sat comfortably in the common room. For some reason it seemed like no one else spent time there, only the two trios. The laughed, talked, joked and shared embarrassing stories about their childhood. It was, to laugh and think about something else than Voldemort's return, or for Celeste, her family.Β

"Celeste," Hermione called for the blonde haired girl who was lost in her own thoughts once again. Celeste quickly turned her afce towards Hermione who was frowning.Β

"Yes?" She asked from her friend and tried her best to fake a smile.

Hermione observed her friend closely, she knew that something was bothering her. She has for awhile. "There's something bothering you," the young witch stated.

All color from Celeste's face drained. She glanced at Beth and Nathan who gave her an assuring nod. They all knew that Celeste has to tell at some point, so why not now but then again she didn't want to ruin Ron's birthday.Β

"We can talk about it later," Celeste said. "It's Ron's birthday."

"No please tell us now. I like to celebrate my birthday but honestly, I'd like to add some action to it," Ron exclaimed eagerly. He was sure that whatever Celeste needed to tell, was good.

"Alright then, here it comes..." Celeste took a deep breath in. "I'm a Malfoy."Β

Beth and Nathan smiled at her friend supportively, while the Golden trio looked like someone had punched them in their stomach. They blinked their eyes several times, trying to figure out if they were only dreaming, or having a nightmare. But the countless times they blinked, but nothing changed, proved Β them that they were truly awake.

"Bloody hell," Ron whispered in shock.

"What do you mean, a Malfoy?" Harry asked, hoping that he had heard wrong.

Celeste bit her lip and exchanged looks between Nathan and Beth. She had know idea what to say, if she was even able to speak. She truly liked her friends and didn't want to loose them. Then again, why would she loose them? Why would they not want to be friends with her anymore, just over the fact that she was the twin sister of the mots hated wizard family in the school? That would just be mean and cruel.

Before Celeste had a chance to finally answer to Harry, Hermione stepped up. "She means that before she was adopted by the Starlings, she was a Malfoy. Draco's sister, twin sister I presume?"

"Y-yes, twin," Celeste said quietly and stared at Hermione who gave her an accepting smile, making Celeste relive the breath she didn't know she was still holding.

"How?" Harry asked again, he truly was stunned by the news.

"Ever since I arrived to Hogwarts, I started to have these memory-dream sort of things. I found out that when I was four, I was taken from the Malfoys, my biological family," Celeste explained carefully. "And before you say anything, yes Draco knows now and so do the rest of the Malfoys."

Ron's face still looked like he has seen a ghost, or worse. A Malfoy. "But you're so nice," he blurted out, making Celeste chuckle.

"The Malfoys really aren't that bad---"

"---that bad? Are you joking?" Harry asked in fury. "Didn't Bellatrix Lestrange kill Sirius, huh?"

"Bella isn't a Malfoy. She's a Black," Celeste stated.Β

"But aren't you a Black? From your mother's side?" Harry frowned.

Celeste sighed. "Yes, and you know that I don't approve killing and I'm just as mad at Bellatrix as you are, over killing Sirius. But that's not the point now. I met my mother, and she's the most loving and caring person I've met in a long time. She loves Draco and me more than life itself. I haven't met my father obviously but according to mother, he was thrilled to find out that I was even alive."

"Just think about it for a minute. They saw it, when I was kidnapped. They saw it and tried to save me but couldn't. They thought that their daughter must had died, I'm sure that changes a person. My memories of them, where filled with warmth, laughter and love. They aren't rotten to the core," she finished and on that note, she got up from her seat and walked out of the common room.

Harry and Ron were both astonished by Celeste's speech and more of the fact that she stormed out. The two boys looked at each other, both looking like fish due their confused looks and then they turned to Hermione, who was not pleased with them.

"Honestly you two!" She shrieked and got up. "Our friend finally remembered her past, which was a happy one and now she wanted to share it with her friends but you to completely ruined it! She must had been so nervous to tell us. I'm extremely disappointed in you," Hermione scolded the boys and left the room with Beth and Nathan, who were angry and disappointed in them as well.

CELESTE ENTERED

her aunt's office but it seemed like Olivia wasn't there. Celeste sighed but instead of leaving the office, she went to her aunt's desk and sat down. To say the least, Celeste was upset with Harry and Ron. She knew that it must had been a shock to them, to find out that their so anti-Malfoy friend was actually a Malfoy but still they could had at least try to be more supportive.

Suddenly the door opened and Hermione, Beth and Nathan entered the room.

Celeste sighed and sank into her chair. "Hi.." she whispered.

Hermione hated to see anyone this upset, especially her friend. As she stood by the door, Beth and Nathan brushed past her and walked over to Celeste. Beth gave her friend a comforting hug while Nathan kept muttering about how ridiculous Ron and Harry are.

"I'm sorry," Hermione said, making Celeste turn towards her. "I'm sorry about Ron and Harry. I'm very disappointed in them, and trust me, I showed that to them," she continued and walked closer to Celeste and her two brunette friends.Β

"I'm really happy that you remember where you're from," finished Hermione.

Celeste gave Hermione a weak smile. "Thank you."

"So, Mrs Malfoy is actually nice," Hermione said and sat on Olivia's desk. "Tell me about her."

Celeste frowned at her friend. "You don't have to pretend to be interested."

"I truly am!" Hermione sighed and took Celeste's hand. "I really want to know."

"Okay," Celeste said with a smile spreading across her face. "She's very emotional, which I know, is hard to believe but she really is. She worries about me and Draco basically all the time and she's so caring and gives the best hugs for sure. Draco is very protective, they all are."

"So he's an overly protective brother?" Hermione grinned at the thought that Draco Malfoy's actually caring.

"Yes, most definitely yes," Celeste chuckled.

Before Celeste could continue the door opened and Draco walked in. He frowned when he saw the mudbl--muggle, Hermione Granger with his sister. He shoot a questionable look at Nathan when he noticed that Celeste was clearly upset about something. Nathan understood the look and walked to Draco.

"She told them," Nathan whispered at Draco, who sighed.

"They didn't like it, did they?" Draco asked, sounding almost sorry.

"You know that I'm here, right?" Celeste grinned at her brother, and her non-biological brother.Β

Draco rolled his eyes playfully. "Yes. Are you okay?" He asked and walked to Celeste, Hermione and Beth.

"Yes, I'm okay," Celeste said but Draco just narrowed his eyes. "What?" She asked.

"You do the same thing as mother when you lie. You raise your eyebrows," Draco chuckled, making Celeste nudge him. "So, they didn't take it well?" Draco continued and glanced at Hermione.

Hermione frowned. "I took it well. But Harry and Ron..."

Draco sighed and placed his hand on Celeste's shoulder. "They think that they are too mighty. Don't think about them."

"He's right," Hermione said, surprising everyone in the room. "They are my best friends but they are very prejudices, especially when it comes to well, your family."

"Merlin, we're agreeing on something. Celeste, you definitely have an impact on people," Draco laughed, making everyone else in the room laugh as well.

"You don't need them to approve your blood," Beth said to her friend who smiled at her.

Draco nodded as an thank you to Beth before he turned back to his sister. "Oh, mother would like to have you over for the weekend again. And Beth and Nathan are welcomed as well."

Celeste grinned. "Okay, that's sounds good. Right?" She asked and turned to her friends.

"Yes," Beth and Nathan said union.

"Sorry Granger, you aren't invited," Draco smirked but unlike every other time he has spoken to her or smirked the Malfoy smirk, this time it was more friendly.

Hermione chuckled. "I'm not surprised."
