Y/n's POV

Me and my members were called in the office for a meeting earlier. I'm glad our CEO didn't scold me for my response yesterday and last day. He said its fine to interact with fans, just don't slip any malicious or hurtful words towards them. He also thought us the dos and don'ts in Social Media so we'll get away from serious issues that might hurt the fans.

"Is it okay if we date?"

Jia asked that question earlier. So bold of her to ask that question, maybe she's dating anyone at the moment? Seo Youngeun maybe? They hang out a lot.

"Dating is a serious topic. Imagine, you're dating someone then you're in a group. We all know couples have ups and downs so when you have schedule and you and your boyfriend... or girlfriend... fought, it will affect your mood in that particular schedule. It's still up to you but I recommend to focus first in your careers. There's another thing, dating someone who is not a celebrity or non- showbiz personality is more safer than dating a co-artist. Scandals are hard to deal with" Kyungsoo sunbaenim explained. I get that dating non- celebrity is more safe, one of his members dated a non- celebrity and was silent for years about it! Dispatch never even saw his wife's face.

"Jie-jie, what are you thinking?" I felt the couch dip beside me. It was Hikaru. We just got home and I was spacing out on the living room. I should be finishing that one song I'm creating but my lazy side took over me again. "Nothing... just thinking about some possible lyrics I could put into my song..."

"I can help you, but just rap parts" I was already in the second verse of the song... Hikaru showed up in the right time. "Good idea"

Just before we could stand up from the couch, the doorbell dinged unexpectedly. Hikaru ran to open it, me tailing her. "Hey, Hikaru- oh, there you are" it was Xiaoting. She's wearing a dress, looks like she's going somewhere? Date with Yurina i guess? Huh, that should be me.

"I told you earlier mama called for us" she fiddled her fingers, making herself look cute in front of me and my child. "You did?" Her smile eventually dropped. "You said you knew!" I knew?

"Go get dressed now! I'll be waiting at out house" she stomped away. I didn't actually knew a thing... I thought she's just making a way to talk to me again.

"You two good already?" Hikaru asked. I shook my head then head inside. "How is she so bubbly around you, jie-jie? She acts like she didn't cheat on you"

"Exactly! That's what I'm thinking as well" I rubbed her head. She is really my child. "Let's write next time... I'm sure we'll take a long time there. If the members asked for me, tell them I'm at my mom's" Hikaru understood then left the living room. Me on the otherside, went to my room and dressed opposite to Xiaoting. I don't like dresses that much. I will only wear one if it's required or when at the airport or something.

I put on a coat then left the house. At the gates, I saw the black van that belongs to our house so I went there, forgetting to fetch Xiaoting. As opened the doors, her mom was sitting inside already. I looked around and saw not even a glimpse of my mom.

"Good evening, Mama" I greeted her. She scooted to the left so I could sit next to her. "Where's Xiaoting?" I looked outside of the window then saw Xiaoting inside of their house. She was talking to Yurina and Suyeon on the couch with the other members sitting on the floor.

"I forgot to fetch her-" I was about to open the doors again when her mom held my wrist. "It's okay, I'll text her" she held out her phone, sending a quick text to Xiaoting. "By the way... who's that girl sitting beside her?" Her mom asked as she brought her phone back to her purse. "The one with the bangs?"

"Yes, who's she?"

"Her name is Kawaguchi Yurina, ma. Why?" Mrs. Shen shook her head while displaying a poker face. "I don't like her around my daughter, could you look for Xiaoting while I'm not around? Especially, take her away from that Kawaguchi" she told me.

That's right! Her mom doesn't like Yurina, I won. But Xiaoting does, I lose.

"Why?" I asked her out of curiosity. "Y/n... I know you're not a jealous type person but as a mother, I know other's intentions to my daughter... protect Xiaoting, okay?" Maybe she thought Yurina got bad intentions OR she sees the way Xiaoting and Yurina bond differently?

"Of course, ma. She's my fiancée, I will protect her from everything"

If her mother trusts me, I should never break that trust unlike what she did to mine.

Xiaoting's POV

"I've called the both of you today to say that me and Y/n's mom is going home tomorrow morning. The both of you will send us off that's why I gave you that dress" I was crossing my arms and legs as I was listening to my mom. Im still salty about Y/n not fetching me at our house earlier... "Why did you wore it already, Ting?" She asked me. Well, the note didn't say that I should not wear it first?

"I thought you gave it to me to wear it tonight, your note didn't say I should wear it tomorrow" I retorted. I heard my mom sighed then sip on her tea. "Fine... you can change to some clothes upstairs, wear that dress again tomorrow"

"Upstairs? We're going to stay here?" I heard Y/n asked. "Yes, you two will be sleeping here tonight. The flight tomorrow is very early so you two should stay" I saw Y/n scratched the back of her neck. "In one room?" She asked once again.

"Hmm... what's wrong with that? You two used to sleep together before, what's with the sudden uncomfortableness?" She really hates me around her huh. But its a win for me, I like being around her. "We're not uncomfortable" I grabbed her hand swiftly that she didn't see it coming. "See?" I intertwined our fingers so my mom wouldn't notice the gap in our bond. "Holding hands is easy. I remember the both of you would flirt around even your parents are in front. Did something happened?" Mom, mom, mom... really is observant. "Nothing happened... we've been apart for a year so it's hard to adjust of course"

"In that one whole year, I'm sure something happened while she's gone" she looked deeply into my eyes. I tried to look away but that will only make it obvious. Y/n, please save me

"Dont scare her, ma. Im sure there's nothing that I missed. She texted me everyday, right Baobei?" I sighed mentally as Y/n caught the question for me. She saved me for the hundredth time already. "R-Right" I was stuttering because she just called me Baobei again!

"Okay, okay" I heard my mom sighed then set her tea cup on the table. Y/n's mom isn't at home yet. Mom said she had some errands to do in the province with her relatives. She will be back later. "But I will always be watching the two of you. Where's your ring, Y/n?" She's strict again, probably not in a good mood.

"It's here" she took something out of her shirt and the ring were hanging on her necklace. I noticed that necklace was the one I bought her on our first anniversary. "Can I put it here?" My mom nodded then looked to me. "Where's yours, Xiaoting?" Why do I feel like she's treating Y/n more like her daughter than me. But nevermind, Mrs. Yang likes me more than Y/n.

"It's here" I untangled my hands off Y/n's then waved my hand in the air. My mom looked satisfied. I hope she will not notice me and Yurina being around together in our schedules. Our fans also affects our relationship. Its like doing a fan service but it's real off camera. But I don't really like her, I just... don't want her to get embarrassed in front of the other trainees.

"Shen Xiaoting, I like you"

Yurina confessed to me on ghe very first week, in front of the sea of trainees from J-group and some other trainees from other groups. They started chanting quietly because were at the cafeteria early in the morning. I lookef around first, looking for a C-group trainee around and as I see no one,

"I like you too"

"Aye~ just get married already" someone whisper-shouted in Japanese. I forced a smile so Yurina would not get embarrassed in front of her friends. Y/n was still on my mind. Cheating isn't a mistake, it's a choice. And I hope I can run out to this situation. I love Y/n and Yurina but just as a friend. I really hate i made this decision but since Y/n is gone, I can stick around with someone first. I could hold their hands like I do to Y/n so I won't feel alone.

I hope I could turn back time... only if I knew Y/n would debut here too, I should've waited. But Yurina is my best friend too and I don't want her to get dumped early in the show. It will affect her confidence so I got no choice.

"I will sleep here" I heard her not far from were I was sitting. Its already time to sleep but I was spacing out, thinking how will I get out of this regret hole. "Sleep beside me" I told Y/n as she took some of the pillows beside me. "I cant"

"Why not?"

"Because you're dating someone, you can't just sleep with somebody else in the same bed" i rolled my eyes then grabbed the fabric of her pajamas, pulling her to sit down beside me. "You're sleeping here" i locked my arms and legs around her so she can't get out. "Let go, Xiaoting"

"Only if you sleep here beside me"

"I told you, we-"

"You're still my fiancée. I told you, I don't like her... i just accepted her confession so she won't get humiliated in front of our co-trainees" I rested my chin on her shoulders. I was basically straddling her but on the side. "What about me? Have you thought about me that time? Did you forgot you're engaged already that time?"

"You're in my mind all day. I really missed you"

"Are you mental? You just accepted someone's confession while dating someone else" she pushed my head of her shoulders. "Break up with Yurina first before talking to me" she then pushed my legs aside so she could stand up. "Okay, fine" I unconsciously grabbed my phone on the bed side table then opened my messages. I tapped on Yurina's contact then messaged her right away.

"Okay, look here now" I showed my phone to her. She was looking at it from afar but I know she can read it clearly.

"You think you did something?" I felt my phone vibrated 3 times.

"You exchange I love yous with her too? Great" I heard Y/n mumbled before disappearing behind the backrest of the couch which is in front just of the bed.

"Sleep well now, wo ai ni" I heard her sarcastically say.

"I love you too" I replied but I heard no response from her anymore. I frowned then laid down on the cold, unused bed of the house. I dimmed the lamp beside me as well as my phones brightness.

I should think of another way how to break up with Yurina.
