"Sure... you didn't obey me last night, look at you now... you can't even stand up all by yourself "

"I can! Watch me" Y/n take off the covers that she was holding since this morning and the first thing her whole body met was coldness. "C-Cold, my clothes are cozy but it's cold" she shakingly layered the sheets again. "I can stand up, okay? But I cant take off this cover. It's cold"

"It's warm actually, spring is coming. How come it's cold? Are you sure you're okay now? I think the fever is just starting" Xiaoting went next to her, checking her temperature by placing her hand above her forehead. "Be thankful i made you drink that medicine or else your fever will be worser than this... take some sleep now" she pushed the older down. "I will go home once you fall asleep"

Y/n expected Xiaoting to jump out of bed but instead, she went inside the covers and hugged her fiancée. "Sleep now" Xiaoting laid her head on Y/n's shoulders. "Why are you laying beside me? You might get my fever"

"I rather take it from you so you can perform onstage. Besides, our comeback is postponed 'til the next 2 months"

Her company is getting suspicious. They kept on suspending their album and their contract is just 2 and a half years! They're coming to their first year and they only had their debut album which was also delayed before.

"But you need to stay healthy. Oh, and i thought you wanted some space? Why are you hugging me right now, Shen Xiaoting?"

"I explained it to you yesterday, didn't I? I did that to make you focused on your work"

"Yeah yeah, but still... stay away from me. We're on a break"

"Why? So you could follow your 'babies'?" Xiaoting rolled her eyes, rolling to the other of the bed. "What do you mean?"

"Your idols, Xiaoma (Ma Yuling) told you they followed you in weibo, right? Are you going to follow them back?" Xiaoting was using hand languages while speaking so Y/n know she's shy about why she's saying. "Of course, they are celebrities too in China. Who am I to not follow them back? You're jealous again, aren't you? Why are you jealous about Ma Yuling's teammates? My ultimate baby isn't there-"

"There's an ultimate baby?!" Xiaoting sat up all of the sudden, looking down at you with her frustrated face. "All of us has one, my ultimate baby means ultimate bias. Why are you overreacting? Its not like I dont allow you to stan your favorite groups, right?"

"You don't but I don't call them my babies? And you... you're so gay you could ditch me when you and those babies meet up"

"For Song Xinran and Fei Qinyuan, I will ditch you seriously. You can ditch me too, isn't Yurina your ultimate bias?" Y/n raised an eyebrow, remembering that time when Xiaoting was interviewed. The host asked her who's her most favorite idol and she said it was Planet Girls, specifically Yurina as her bias. "Be thankful we're in Korea because you know, Su Ruiqi is a friend of Yuan Yiqi and Yuan Yiqi is a friend of Fei Qinyuan, Sury said she can set up a date for me if me and you officially break up-"

"We're not breaking up, no, never in a million years" Xiaoting reached for her lover's hand but it was under the covers so she grabbed her face instead. "I thought your ideal type is 'Shen Xiaoting', why are you thinking of other girls right now? I never saw you simp over CHN48 members before too"

"Of course you never saw me because you're in Korea. Did you know that I went to Guangzhou to have fieldtrip and met Liang Twins in the streets, and to tell you, they were the first one to approach me because they said their member found me very pretty while sitting on that Cafe with my college colleagues. They asked for my number and I gave it to them. They gave me theirs and that member's but I refused because I thought about you. You know, Zhang Run is very very pretty but i chose you over her. And what did you do? Dated a girl behind my back" Xiaoting pouted as she laid beside the older once again. Y/n pushed her back up once again, telling Xiaoting to get her phone.

"Why? Let's just sleep"

"Get my phone... im going to watch The Show" she sighed as sat up again, lazily taking Y/n's phone on the bedside table. "Here... dont you dare open weibo"

"I will open it later. Stop being jealous, okay? Im not like you... a cheater tsk tsk"

Y/n's POV

"Hey~ you awake already? Jie-jie went home already" Ruiqi patted the space beside the her on the couch. I went to sit there and she was watching a Chinese news in the television. "Where are the others?" I asked. The house sounds quiet.

"Ziyin, Manami, Kotone and Ruan went to their classes. Dayeon unnie is on her studio, Hikaru asleep already, and Jia... you know where she is" ah, typical Yoon Jia, always at the Planet Girl's House. "How are you feeling?" Ruiqi placed her hand on my forehead. "You good already?"

"I am, I'm ready to go tomorrow"

"Sunbaenim said you should rest first... then the other day, you can come... and oh, your mother called to me earlier. She said she can't contact both you and Xiaoting" Ruiqi winked. "What are you two doing?"

"Sleeping... what did mom said?"

"She said that the guards are going to follow your schedules. Your father got promoted so i think there are rivals?"

Promoted? That does mean...

"Yeah... and? What do you mean promoted?"

"Girl, your father is now the CEO of the whole Sina Corporation and director of Baidu... haven't you seen our promotion banner everywhere in every apps associated with Sina? And... everywhere! Your weibo followers also jumped fast" ah, i didnt know about that. And Sina? He took over Sina now? What about Xiaoting's mom? Still a Weibo CEO? (ff: Weibo is under Sina Corporation)

Usually, my father would stay away from me and mom so we won't get affected that much of his enemies. He would go home every weekends but sometimes not. Same goes to Xiaoting's father. Her father is always at the army since he's one of the high ranks there.

"I dont know if its a good or bad thing but I guess... free promotions for our group, yay" i clapped my hands sarcastically. I'm actually worried because my father received thousands of threats already for those companies he rejected an offer to. I remember him telling me not to follow his footsteps but I still chose to study business management to catch the work from him. After my idol career, i still have to study software engineering because the company is mostly about I.T. so... I guess that time is still far. My father had given me 15 years to enjoy my idol life and when I turn 40, his office will be transferred to my care.

"Hey, you two... breakfast is ready" I heard Ziyin called for us. "Are you alright now, Y/n?" She asked. "Hmm, I will join the promotions tomorrow..." i sat on the kitchen table with my fellow Chinese girls.

"Jie-jie... have you seen the news about my father already?" I asked her. Ziyin nodded her head, face looking worried like mines. "Papa too, he got promoted so I'm worried for the both of them. But he told me not to. Especially, dont stress yourself too much, okay?" Ziyin, just like me, changed her name because of our fathers' occupations. Her last name was actually 'Luo' but she took her mother's surname, just like me, that made her 'Xu/俆', mine is 'Xu/许' just like Kiki's. Her mother changed their family name from 许 to 俆 to hide their daughter's identity. Business world is very complicated.

"Go take some rest, I'll manage the girls again. The maknaes will also be attending their Vocal class later this afternoon so you'll be alone here. Do not let any other people enter the house, okay? Especially Doah..." Ziyin whispered the last words but i clearly heard it. I didn't mind to ask why because yesterday, Doah was acting stubborn. Thankfully, Manami was older than her so she can speak up.

"Ah and Xiaoting said that she'll return home next week. Her group are having a vacation. They can all go home at the moment. Too bad we got some schedules so you can't go home with her..."

"We're having a 'space' between us, jie-jie. I just want to focus on my work... right now... but also, tell her to be safe as she takes her flight home, okay? Will you do that for me?" I made a goo-goo eyes so she would accept my request. She will accept it no matter what tho, I'm her favorite cousin.

"Of course, anything for my favorite cousin"

Xiaoting's POV

"Oh hey, welcome home" I was cutting some ingredients with Bora on the kitchen when Yurina entered the house. She's been going out a alot lately. Not just her tho, all of our members actually. Most of the time, it's just me, Bora and Youngeun in the house.

"Hi, what are you cooking?" She went up to us and before I knew it, she went behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist. It's a bit uncomfortable especially we're the same height, my elbows would bump into her arms.

"Snacks and some ingredients for dinner... where are the others?" I asked. All the other kids went out as a group while Yurina went out all by herself. Doah also went out all by herself too, she said she's going to her mom's house today.

"I dont know but if I'm not mistaken, I saw Suyeon and Yaning eating at a restaurant earlier. Their with someone which is I think their manager or some sort. The others, I never saw them." Yurina explained. Didnt she went to say hi to them? How come those two have managers with them? Yaning's manager is probably back in China while Suyeon, our manager is in the office.

"How about you? Who are you with earlier?"

"Mashiro... im with Mashiro" I just nodded my head then focused back on what am I doing earlier. "I'm going back to Japan tomorrow, want to come with me?"

"I'm not sure, I haven't booked a ticket and I'm also going home next week"

"I'm going to take my family's private jet, you can come" wow, they have one? We only have a helicopter in China. "Her mom will get angry, Yurina. Havent you witnessed how strict her mom was? When she came here? She's like... the strictest person we've met" Bora reasoned. Im glad she spoke up, I dont know what to tell Yurina anymore. They met my mom already? Never knew about that.

"Okay, fine. But next time, you'll come with me, okay?" I dont want to.

"Sure"

Y/n's POV

I was sitting in the couch, my eyes looking outside. I just came out of my studio after practicing an instrument and now, I'm bored again.

"Should I call Xiaoting?" I asked myself. "Just for today, tho. I dont have a work to focus with" I fished for my phone inside my pocket then opened WeChat. "But we're having a space... no?" I was being hesitant but I really need her to entertain me right now. All my life, I never got this bored bored. Sure Xiaoting wasn't around me for like half a year last year but she's in my heart. But now, knowing that she broke my trust, I feel insecure. I dont trust her all by herself anymore. Without her beside me makes me feel I lack at something.

"What are you doing?" I jumped at the sudden voice of a familiar person. I turn beside me and saw Xiaoting, she has an apron on. "Are you real?" I lifted my hand to touch her face, making sure I wasn't hallucinating because I miss her.

"I am... why? Were you thinking about me that's why you're spacing out?" I sighed before telling her to sit down beside me. She excitedly jumped in the couch then held my hands. "Did you miss me?" She teasingly asked. "No... i was just bored then you pop up, how?"

"Mrs. Bong called for me, she said you're going insane"

"She did?" I looked around and never saw a glimpse of Mrs. Bong. I want to thank her because she's right, I'm going insane.

"Are you all right now? Fever gone?" She felt my forehead then smiled brightly. She's a literal sunshine, I believe.

"You're all right now... going to promote tomorrow, right?" I nodded my head. "I'm going home next week..." she pouted as her smile fades. "Really? Where? Shanghai or Chengdu?" We got an apartment in Shanghai because her agency was there.

"Shanghai first, I think. I will visit TopClass first"

"Oh, since you're going to Shanghai, can you go meet Ma Yu Ling? She said she got a present for me but I need to get it face to face"

"Why me? She will never give it to me because I'm not you..."

"It will take me 2 months before I can go home-"

"Be patient, okay? It's just 2 months, you waited for me for like, a year! You can do it" Xiaoting held both of my cheeks then tapped it lightly. It was her 'encouraging' gesture, she would tap my cheeks to wake up my inner energy. "What if that gift is a movie ticket... a movie date with a random SNH girl-"

"I will check once I go back, okay? But i will never tell it to you unless I dont like it" she rolled her eyes then retreated her hands off my face. "You cant date"

"But you can? What's with the unfairness" I sarcastically chuckled as I wrapped my arms around her shoulders. "I was forced to. You dont know the feeling of being forced so you don't understand how I feel dating behind my fiancée. I already told you that you're the only one in my heart, right?"

"I dont trust you"

"It's okay. But I will keep on reminding you that you're the only one I love" I heard her sigh lightly before resting her head ln my neck. Her arms snaked around my waist, pulling herself closer to me. I felt her peck my neck then my cheeks before whispering her 'I love you' to me.

"Let's hang out today"

"Where?"

"Let's go to Incheon. In the beach. Let's stay there 'til the afternoon. Just the two of us" she whsipered. Can I? I keep on forgetting we're in Korea, we're a bit of free here.

"We can bring some guards so mama won't get angry... Let's go?"

"Sure... let me change first. You go showet, you smell like bell pepper" I stood up, walking towards my room. I can feel her presence behind me again. "Why are you still here? Go home and shower"

"Can't I shower here? And then borrow your clothes afterwards? I can change back in the afternoon" I sighed then opened the doors of my bedroom for her. I pushed her on the bathroom then closed the doors. "Why are you in a rush?"

"Im going to change here outside, go shower"

"Why not shower with me-"

"You pervert, can you go clean yourself now? And don't come out unless I told you to, okay?"

"Coppish"

Faint knocks on the door caught my attention. Probably Mrs. Bong because shes the only one here who approaches me alot. "Who is it?" I asked. "It's Mrs. Bong, Y/n-ssi"

I went to open the door and she was holding baskets of fruits. I looked behind her and saw a glimpse of someone behind her. "Ms. Kim gave this to you" she handed me the basket.

"Kim?"

"Hi... jie-jie"

Doah popped out behind her.
