"That shot is good"

"Jia could be our group's personal photographer-"

"Yah, I'm a member too"

"Where have you all been?" Me and my group stopped on our tracks. We were greeted by our manager slash CEO, Kyungsoo sunbaenim. "Oh, Annyeonghaseyo sunbaenim" we greeted him first.

"We went to our own studio, sunbaenim. Y/n unnie showed us a vacant room underground" Kyungsoo raised his brows. He was not familiarized by the house eventhough Sehun lives on the neighborhood. "Ne! There's an underground vacant rooms. We're making it as our own personal studios" Ruiqi told him. All of us got our own studio underground. We've only designed one room which is our dance room. We ordered some huge mirrors earlier so its not yet ready.

"Well, I'm happy the group is making progress" he smiled at us. "Lets sit" he went to the couch as we followed him. He treats us like his own daughters. He's serious as well so we feel comfortable around him. "What is the group up to lately? I want to hear some updates" he put his hands together as he sat cross legged.

"Jia is up for photography and vlogging, Ruiqi unnie designing her personal room, Dayeon unnie is doodling her room while Hikaru is writing rap verses" I told him. Theres no leader in the group at all. He said the line up is not yet finished so we need to wait for others. "What about you?" He turn to me. "She's producing songs, sunbae" I nudged Ruiqi. "Can I hear it?" I sighed before standing up, getting my laptop on the near table.

I opened it for them and as it lit up, the background was a photo of me and Xiaoting but our backs only showing. No one saw it before but as I turn to Ruiqi, she only wriggled her brows at me. I wonder how she knew...

"Nugu? Do you have a younger sister, unnie?" Hikaru asked. "Ani... I'm an only child, that's a friend of mine" I gulped. I can't changed the background photo because I admit, I still love her. But the thing is, did she ever loved me?

"It looks like Xiaoting unnie... that person's hair color is familiar" Jia said. "Shen Xiaoting? That's from PLANET GIRLS right?" Our CEO asked. "Ne, they also live beside us, sunbae" Dayeon pointed at the house outside. "Ah. I didn't know about that, but I've seen them at SM earlier?"

"SM?"

"I heard CJE&M and SM Entertainment are merging, or just acquiring some stocks... It's not clear yet but if that happens, the group will be handled by SM" I don't know if that's a good or bad news. But for me, I don't care. Our building and SM's are different so I will not see Shen Xiaoting there.

"Dont worry too much, this group won't get affected. I handle this company so if they want me to delay some projects, I will never do it" Kyungsoo fixed his glasses. "Let's see, Y/n" I opened you recording files and played one of my composed song. "Sorry if it's bad, It's my first time making a song"

The first music I made was called 'Only'. It has less instrumentals and a slow song that would fit our concept. It's easy to make as well but since I just learned about the producing software yesterday, it took me some time. I only made a minute song tho, I haven't completed it yet.

"It's good, it's good. That's a nice start. I knew I would get something from you. You will do a good job in the future" Sunbaenim held a thumbs up. I rarely get compliments and whenever I get one, I tear up. "Here goes our crybaby unnie again!" I felt Jia pat my back. "Unnie cries fast" Hikaru chuckled. "Hmm, ready yourself in the future. You will get a lot of compliments" he added.

"Yang Y/n, you will be famous" Ruiqi caressed my shoulders. In my whole life, I never had that much of supporters. I hide from the public due to my status and when I debut, I want them to know me as a nugu idol who will climb up without the help of my parent's status. I never opened any personal accounts except my past weibo that only has a hundred followers. I did dance covers with my previous Top-Class trainees but I don't shine a lot before because I lack so much compare to Xiaoting. The other members showed what they've been doing lately as well and Hikaru showed us a rap verse she composed in all Korean. After our mini talent show, we went back on being silent.

"Let's talk about the news reactions" I heard sunbaenim spoke once again. "A lot of them are excited for the debut but there's a question a lot of fans asked... who's the main vocal? They all know that the members are Aces but they want to know who in the group could hit a high note perfectly"

All of us looked at Dayeon and Ruiqi. All in the group are great rappers and dancers. In vocals, it's average. Dayeon unnie would fit in, as well as Su Ruiqi. I watched their performances in that show and I was amazed they can do 3 things at a time.

"I want to encourage you all to release a vocal cover, one by one. You can choose any concept but make sure to sing. In that way, the netizens could react who's the main vocal material. They haven't seen Yang Y/n perform yet so they'll be waiting for it" The talk goes on and on for the group's future plan.

We got a month to prepare ourselves and the next month, we will prepare for our debut. I've trained for a year already and I'm sure I'm ready. We also decided on opening a lot of Social Media accounts under the name of of youtherday, a short version of Youth of Yesterday but our CEO also call it as Youth Everyday (Errday).

"Hikaru's doing That's Okay, Jia for Rose, Ruiqi for Bambi and Y/n's doing Beautiful Goodbye. I'm assigned to do You by Xiumin sunbaenim"  Dayeon announced. I also told them to do a one-shot music video and edit some effects instead or arrange background props on our own. They all agreed with it and Dayeon unnie could finally showcase her arts as backgrounds in our music videos. "That will be all for today, see you guys whenever!" The group took D.O. outside and we noticed it's already afternoon. We invited him for dinner but he refused saying he got a date.

As he drove away, 2 huge vans entered the gates. We were in awe as we saw Planet Girls members exit the vehicle. All of them looks exhausted especially Xiaoting but she still looked pretty- no Y/n, she cheated on you. I reminded myself.

But first love hits different. Xiaoting was my very first crush in my life, except those celebrities of course. She's the only person who made my heart flutter and my knees turn into jellies. But she also made my heart froze and break. I will make sure I will take my revenge soon.

"Yoon Jia!" We all heard Youngeun shout. Eventhough she looks tired, she ran towards Jia and embraced her. I smiled at the pair remembering the old time me and Xiaoting got.

"Yang!" I turn around and saw Xiaoting running towards me, holding the straps of her bag. We studied on the same school but the buildings are apart. I was on the Piano Art Institute while she's on the main building of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. During High School, we meet often but as we got in college, I sometimes move back and forth from Sichuan to Shanghai because I'm studying business there then Piano here. We meet 4 times a week and it's always after school. I only come home every weekends.

As she reached me, she launched herself at me, hugging me tight making me feel suffocated. Its fine tho, I love her scent, she smells like strawberries. "I missed you" I hear her squeal beside my ear. "Me too" I patted the back of her back. College put us away from each other but as soon as she entered Chuang and went to Shenzhen, I stopped my studies in Shanghai and supported her with her journey. And after she got eliminated, I spent the remaining months with her until she flew to Korea. Except the last week because schools started that week so I flew to Shanghai early.

"How have you been? Are you eating healthy?" I asked her. I know she's a type of person who eat junk food a lot especially when she made friends with other trainees at Top-Class. I'm glad she made friends, she's very introverted and would rather spend her time with me at home than go out. "I am, don't worry. How about you? How's your class?" She asked, breaking the hug. "I aced it" both of us chuckled. Every time we talk, we always look into each other's eyes. It makes me flustered but it also makes me forget about my disappointments for today. "I know you did, you always do" she tapped both of my cheeks. "Let's eat outside? My treat?" She invited. It's always her treat tho. I always cook for her when we're at home so its the way she pay me back. "I cant say no to you" she grabbed my hand and drag me out of the school grounds.

Although many students have seen us very touchy with each other, they never thought that we were dating. Some of Xiaoting's friends knew and they supported her. I met some of her friends and mostly, they are pretty. Very pretty.

Back to the scenario, me and my group watched Jia as she hugged Youngeun. It makes me feel like a proud mom, watching my daughter with her love interest. But wait, does Jia like Youngeun?

"They're always like that" I heard Hikaru beside me. "They looked like an engaged couple" Dayeon commented. Really, they do look like me and Xiaoting before. The smile on my face dropped as I heard the word "engaged" and my eyes went to Xiaoting who's holding Yurina's hand. I felt mines were cold and of course, im jealous. I bit my inner lip and held my right hand, I was about to fiddle my ring but noticed it wasn't there.

My heart instantly went crazy. Where did I put it?

I held my hands in front of my face and inspected my fingers. It wasn't there. "Unnie? What are you looking at?" Hikaru asked. "I-I think i lost something" Ruiqi went to my side, covering her mouth. "Where's your ring?" She asked in Chinese. Me and her never talked about mine's relationship with Xiaoting so I'm still confused where she got the information.

Behind my hands, Xiaoting was looking at it from a far as well but she wasn't shocked at all. I hid both of my hands in my hoodie and pretend I don't care. I don't want her to think I still love her eventhough I still do. But what she did proves that she doesn't deserve my love.

All of the sudden, my phone starts beeping. I grab it from my pocket and answered a call from my mom.

"Hello hun, we're in the Incheon Airport right now"

Wait-

"Hello... mom, are you going here?"

"Of course! Tell Xiaoting her mother is coming there too!"

Who's mother?!
