Y/N'S POV

"Mom, I'm in the house already"

"Glad you got there safe, hun. Don't forget to eat dinner, okay?" My mom smiled at the camera before blowing a kiss. "I will, bye mom. Love you" I blew a kiss back before finally ending the call.

I lazily went up the stairs and plopped down on the bed in my bedroom. "Home Sweet Home" I stretched my arms and then my phone accidentally flew away. Even though I'm really tired, my phone is my everything.

"Omo" I rolled to the other side of the bed and picked it up. It wasn't damaged tho. The lock screen is still full but I guess the person on it is still away from me.

"Shen Xiaoting" I stared at the picture. Shen Xiaoting, she's been my fiancée for 4 years already. Although it was arranged, our feelings are mutual. Unexpected but I loved it.

"I hope you're doing fine" I caressed her cheeks through the picture. I don't get in touch with her lately since she went on that show. She must've bought a new phone or something but her mom assured me everything was fine with her and her career. I look up for her name once a week for news and she's doing a great job so I don't worry much. Her contract is just three years but I know how to wait.

"Once Xiaoting comes back, you two will get married immediately... your grandmother wants to see you get married before she passes" I recalled what my mother had told me. Being the only child in the family is so much pressure. They want you to do whatever they want you to do. What they want is what they should get.

My career was once stopped by my father but I still fought for it and later on, he permitted me. Going away from them is my only freedom. Now that I'm in Korea already, I can now do the things that I haven't done before like making friends.

My family was very strict, they pick who I should befriend. Mostly, I'm only friends with my cousins Xu Ziyin and Xu Kiki who are now both artists in China. My one and only non-related friend to me was Shen Xiaoting and some co-trainees in Top Class Entertainment. Turns out mine and Xiaoting's father are long-time friends. I basically grew up with Xiaoting in the second grade and fell in love with her in the 4th year of High School. She confessed when we were 18 on my birthday since I'm a month older than her and that is when we knew our feelings were mutual.

The relationship was kept a secret until a housemaid caught me kissing Xiaoting's forehead before she left our house. That housemaid told it to my mother which was soon discovered by my father. We were called by Xiaoting's parents and I thought that was the end already. They were setting us up for an engagement.

My father owns Baidu Company while Xiaoting's mother owns Weibo. Her father is a high-rank Military officer. My mom runs different businesses overseas including this village I stay at in Korea. I might be rich and to tell you, I got no freedom. So as Xiaoting. We spent most of our life indoors or traveling all by ourselves, just us two.

I opened my browser and searched for Xiaoting's name. A current issue was that they held a fan meeting in Gangnam today. That was a bit close to my house but I guess I'm not ready to see her yet. Surprises.

I closed my phone once again and put it under my pillow.

I sighed and sat up. It's boring. I usually have Xiaoting beside me but she's away now. Should I look for a friend?

I went outside on the balcony and saw this girl sipping coffee on their balcony. I followed her gaze and she was staring at the large moon ahead of us. Her hair was dark and wavy and she got squishy cheeks. Should I talk to her tomorrow? Yes.

As I was staring at her, she caught me but that didn't stop me. There's nothing to be embarrassed tho.

She gave me a small wave before going back inside their house. She must be rich that's why she's living here in our village...

I took a small chair and sat under the cold night air of Seoul. I wished to debut and it's going to happen soon. Especially thanks to Do Kyungsoo sunbaenim who cast me into his project. I was an SM trainee in China but I didn't know the subsidiary Youth Entertainment. I was emailed by them and explained the concept.

It was a boyish style or girl crush concept, nothing too girlie at all and that's the concept that I want to do so I immediately accepted the offer. I also learned that my future bandmates are well known internationally and locally because they went into this show that I don't know since I didn't read their profiles.

I looked from the city below and even though it doesn't shine much as the city lights in Shanghai, it still looks beautiful.

And I wonder... will I find Xiaoting around here?

Xiaoting's POV

"Let's go paragliding tomorrow with Mashiro" I heard Yurina say. "But isn't Mashiro afraid of heights?" I look out of the car's window. As I look upon the mountains, the village we live in shines the brightest. It's very visible from the corner of the city or on top of a building in Seoul.

"Then let's bring... Bora unnie, we went there before"

"Okay" I remember that day... they went paragliding while my team went farming. I was Shen Farming or Shen Working that day. That was a beautiful memory with my fellow C-girls and Hikaru who never made it. Dayeon did. I'm still in touch with the girls except for Jia, You Dayeon, Ruiqi, and Hikaru. Most of them debuted already so I thought those four are still training.

"Do you miss the other girls?" I asked her. It's been 3 months since we debuted but the painful memories of elimination days remain. "Of course, I miss them all, especially Xing Qiao. She's the only one in the Utopia team who didn't make it..." did she forget about Chaehyun? Oh well, never mind, I know they're still in touch.

Besides me, Yurina is close to Xing Qiao. We're the only C-trainees she went with the most and the others are acquaintances. You see, Yurina is a shy type of person.

"How about you?"

"Of course... I miss my family"

"You mean the C-group?" I felt her hold my right hand. "Hmm"

"What about your real family? When are you introducing me to them?" my eyes widened. I suddenly remembered Yang Y/n. I cheated but... I admit, I still love her. But... I'm not satisfied without having anyone sleeping on the same bed like mine, or telling me I love yous each night and day. I contacted Y/n but she ignored every call. The image of her cheating never came to my mind but I heard she already graduated in Business. She must've put her studies first.

"If she knew about you and Yurina, I don't know anymore... I might get affected here as well because she asked me a favor to keep a lookout for you. She's my cousin, of course, I'm siding with her. I'm quitting because I can't handle this responsibility of being your watcher anymore. I failed her but Xiaoting... make up your mind, think about Y/n. She studied all the time and kept waiting for you to come back and what have you done? You dated someone behind her back. She loves you so much but I guess you don't. Please keep yourself healthy and if Y/n finds out about this, do not ask help from me" I recalled what Ziyin unnie told me before she dropped out of the show. I'm scared of her now, I can see her Instagram account liking every of my updates. She's still watching me.

"I don't know... they're... conservative, you know. If I introduce you to them, they might get angry because you're not Chinese. You know our tradition. As a girl, you must marry a Chinese" I squeezed her hand. The thing is... my family should never know about my and Yurina's relationship. I am engaged and when I go back to China, I will marry Y/n. I don't know how did I end up messing up my life but there's always a resolution at the end... I guess?

"I understand, I will still wait for it" I nodded at Yurina before retreating my hands. "We're here" the car pulled up in a parking lot inside the Village. Yang-Song Villa, owned by Y/n's mother. Her mom permitted me to live here with my group for free and I heard Y/n used my apartment in Shanghai to study there. As I exited the car, I look up at our house's balcony and saw the lights of the house across ours were open. It's been closed since we got here so I'm surprised someone is using it now.

I saw a girl pulling a chair back inside but I didn't see her face. I look back at Yurina and she's already walking toward our house's front door. I followed her and as we got in, the other girls are already preparing our dinner.

"Welcome back," Dayeon said. "Did you two have a nice date?" Suyeon wriggled her eyebrows. "Ani... we just went to check our schedules" Yurina explained as she sat down at the dining table. "We got loads of schedule for this month starting this Monday... more fan meetings to come" Yurina sighed.

As everyone gathered around the dining table, everyone seems to be in a good mood. The maknaes were so loud and talking about different topics. I observe them all since I'm one of the oldest here.

"Doah unnie's not talking but she's smiling a lot tonight. What happened?" Youngeun asked. We all turn to her and she's also blushing. Did she get herself a boyfriend or girlfriend?

"I was sitting on the balcony earlier-"

"You saw a guy next door?" Yeseo cut her off. Next door? But I saw a girl, not a guy.

"Aniyo... it's the girl next door" Doah bit her lip while smiling. "Aye~ I knew you were fruity" Mashiro rested her chin on her palms. "You saw her? You never got her name or something?" Bora asked.

"Hmm, I'm shy, you know. And I don't think she recognized me, she looks Chinese tho, looks a bit like Xing Qiao unnie"

"Xing Qiao?" Yurina raised an eyebrow. "Maja-yo. So I think she's Chinese" I tried analyzing the situation, there's another Chinese who bought a house in this village, did they know a Chinese-Korean owns this place? Or is it one of Y/n's relatives? Oh my, I'm getting nervous right now.

"Try getting her name next time" Suyeon recommended. "Who knows, maybe she's your soul mate or something" she added. We all heard Doah sigh.

"Well, once our schedules are cleared, I will meet her and bring her here, promise"

I need to know this person quickly before Y/n finds out.
