"Thank you for accompanying me today, unnie" I gave the bags in my hands to Doah's manager. "You're welcome, I was bored at home too so I decided to go out shopping with you"

"Let's do it again next time I guess?"

"Surely" she gave me a shy smile before entering their home. I peeked inside since it's visible from the outside of the house. Jia was there, well, she's always there. And I can see Xiaoting sitting alone on one of the single couches. She was smiling while looking at her other members talking. She must've felt lonely since she's not fluent in Korean.

"Looking at Ms. Shen?" I gulped as I heard a chilling voice behind me. It was Mrs. Bong, the housemaid in our house. She was holding a plant pot on her hands, she must be arranging the front porch. "Hmm... she looks lonely, Mrs. Bong"

"Oh, call me ajumma, it's fine. And... yeah, Sojung is really not that talkative kind of person in her group. She's not that fluent in Korean as well so it's hard to catch up" she explained. "But you know, you can always talk to her since your Chinese too. And, she's your fiancée, right?"

"She is" I sighed. "Then go talk to her. Now I know why you slammed the door to her hand" I heard Mrs. Bong chuckled. "I didn't mean that, really. But she deserves it"

"Why?"

"Yurina and her are dating. She dated behind my back" I fidgeted my fingers, looking to the other direction towards the clift at the back of the house. "Yurina? I worked here even before they came to live here. They don't look like a couple to me... eventhough they held hands sometimes, they don't talk that much"

"They must be talking inside their minds, ajumma"

"No, that means she's just feeling lonely without holding another person's hands. Do you held hands oftenly before?" Not just many times, we always held hands before. If not hands, we would lock arms together. In public, since we don't know how to communicate well with other people, we would just stick together literally. Both of us were Introverted. "We do"

"She just missed you"

"Then why didn't she texted me? Or call me? Or ask for me?"

"I did"

"What-" I turn around and instead of meeting Mrs. Bong's face, I met Xiaoting's. Her arms were crossed but she was smiling. "I did messaged you" she held out her phone and showed the screen to me. "Who's that?" I pointed to her phone. She's showing me her wallpaper? I know it's me but let's pretend I don't.

"Oops, here" she opened her WeChat then showed me her messages to contact '🏠❤'. What does it mean? Girlfriend from home or something? Yurina's nickname must be '🇯🇵❤' means Girlfriend from Japan.

I gave her my phone and she scrolled up, noticing the same problem. "No long messages? Just I love yous?" She asked. Well, why will I text her long messages, she doesn't even seen anyone of my texts. "I did. Scroll deeper, I sent you long messages in the first month. But since you didn't replied, I sent you short ones instead"

"Wow, I spent my time typing long ass messages for you too for like... everyday!"

"How will I know if you're messaging a wrong number?" I rolled my eyes, continuing to dig deeper into her messages. I don't know why am I doing this but I want to read them all. "Y/n! Dinner!" I heard Mrs. Bong from the kitchen window called. I lift my head up to Xiaoting and saw her focused on scrolling through my messages. I closed her phone then slipped it into my pocket. "I'm going now" I told her and she just gave me a nod without glancing at me. I went past her, not bumping her shoulders this time. I think I've done enough hurting her physically. I don't want to see any scandals of me physically hurting others.

"You two good already?" Mrs. Bong asked. I shook my head then sat down on the dining table, the other girls aren't there yet so I took out her phone again. Her lockscreen was her group's photo. This was the same old phone she was using so I guess I still have my face ID on it. I scrolled up and it worked! Then her wallpaper showed up. It was me in my graduation dress, holding my diploma on one hand and the flowers Xiaoting sent to me. It was her mom who gave me the flowers because that time, she couldn't go back since she's promoting their debut album. I went to her WeChat once again, Ruiqi's name suddenly popping up.

I snorted then looked up to upper floor of the house. I met Ruiqi's gaze, her phone on her hands. She raised an eyebrow as she saw the ones in my hand.

"Is that really?" She pointed at the phone. "No, it's not" I chuckled then put it back in my pocket. "Are you two okay now?" She asked in Chinese since Dayeon was sitting in front of us. "No, not yet"

"Not yet? That means there's a chance?"

"I don't know"

Xiaoting's POV

Why is it all 'I love you' messages? Its not like I hate it, but she could've atleast asked me some questions like 'did you eat already?' 'how are you?' 'how's your day?' or something. My messages to her are even better.

"Sojung unnie, dinner is ready" I heard Dayeon called. "I'll eat later midnight, I have some things to do" she nodded then closed the doors of my bedroom.

After few more minutes, I finally reached August of 2021.

I went to the orphanage nearby and the kids were so cute there. I will go back next time because it's more fun playing with kids than stay at a boring dorm alone.
