"You know," Christie started. "You've been here for more than a month now and have yet to invite us to your house."

        A group of us were sitting around the circular cafeteria table and everyone nodded in agreement with Christie's statement.

        Vincent sat beside me and tossed his arm around my shoulder. "Yeah Rose, when will you invite us to your house?"

        "When pigs fly." I scoffed.

        "Oh come on Rose." Tyler complained. "We all have to over together at least once. Think of it as a rite of passage. If you don't invite us over then you will never be truly accepted by us."

        I didn't really care about being accepted by them, but if it would get them off my dick about coming over...

        "Fine, we can all hang by the pool today."

        The group of teenagers in front of me let out a cascade of whoops and hollers. What am I getting myself into?

        I pulled on my Batman bikini and put in my Batman belly ring. This was probably one of my favorite bikinis because I got it from Spencer's, which is this cool store back home that sells all this character stuff.

        It was all black with the Batman insignia plastered all over it. I pulled some Jean short shorts over the bottom of my bikini and decided that the bikini top would be fine. Just as I pulled my hair out of a ponytail and let it fall around my shoulders the doorbell rang.

        "Coming!" I yelled, though I doubt that whoever it was could hear me.

        I ran and opened the door and I was actually shocked at who was standing there. "Kai."

(I hope you didn't think I forgot about my beautiful Kai... *Hehe*)

        "Hey." He said with a smile.

        "Um, what are you doing here?" I questioned. How stupid am I? He's obviously here because I invited everyone here. I guess I kind of forgot about Kai.

        "I'm pretty sure you invited me, but if you want me to leave..."

        "No! I mean you're fine, come in. Nobody else is here yet."

        I let Kai in and closed the door. I went and sat on the couch and motioned for Kai to take a seat. He happily obliged, but I noticed that he sat a little too close to me. This is why I've been avoiding him. I was supposed to be with Vincent and I can't play around with Kai. I promised Christie I wouldn't.

        "Have you been avoiding me?" He asked jumping straight to the point.

        "Of course not!" I lied. God I am a terrible liar. Why had I decided to send Ryan to the store to get some stuff for today?

        "Then why haven't you said an entire sentence to me since we went on that date? If you see me coming down the hall you turn in the opposite direction and you always sit as far away from me as possible. If you don't want anything to do with me just tell me, but don't let me continue to feel like this." He sounded so desperate and I just wanted to cave for only a moment, but I can't. I still have to make Vincent fall for me and I can't do anything to jeopardize that.

        "Kai, it's not that I don't want anything to do with you, it's just that... I have a boyfriend." Yeah, Vincent was a good excuse.

        "And I have a Physics test next week." He shrugged.

        "What? How is that related at all?" I wondered.

        Kai moved closer to me so that he was only inches away from me. "I thought we were both saying things we could cheat on."

        Whoa, where had this confidence came from? Where was the shy, nervous boy that I met who was afraid to ask me on a date? Before I had a chance to make witty a remark, Kai planted his lips on mine.

        It was soft at first. Just a gentle touch, but when he pulled away and looked at me for a reaction, he went back in with a fiery vengeance. He bit my lip and I moaned into the kiss. He took this as his chance to slip his tongue in my mouth and battle my own for dominance.

        I was becoming breathless and the voice in the back of my head was telling me how wrong this was. I had a hard time believing that something that felt so right could be so wrong. I needed to stop this. Now!

        "Kai." I mumbled against his lips. "Kai stop."

        He pulled away to look at me. "What's wrong?"

        "Kai I'm dating Vincent! Everything about this is wrong. I'm sorry but we have to stop."

        He looked a little upset and I knew I needed to fix it. "Even if I don't want to." I added.

        A smile appeared on his face and just as I stood up, the doorbell rang. I walked over to it and I saw Vincent and Tyler holding a cooler.

        "We brought beer!" Tyler said in a sing-song voice as him and Vincent lugged the cooler through the living room and out the back door.

        Christie, Megan, Danielle, and Kendall followed behind them. They were all wearing a solid color bikini top and denim short shorts to match.

        "Since when did I say this was a party?" I complained as Ryan walked through the door with a stereo and some grocery bags in his hands.

        "It's not a party just a small get together." Tyler stated as he walked through the door with a mountain of CDs. When did he walk out the door to get those?

        I sighed and walked outside. Christie, Megan, Kendall, and Danielle had already made themselves at home. They were sitting on the sun chairs reading magazines. Vincent was starting the grill... I wonder if he can even cook.

        He noticed me staring at him because that cocky smirk appeared on his face. Bastard.

        "Like what you see?" He teased.

        I rolled my eyes but didn't respond. For once Vincent's cocky assumptions had been correct. Somewhere in between entering my front door and now, Vincent found the time to take off his shirt. His abs looked delicious as the beads of sweat began to form on them.

        I need to look away. I turned my head and saw Ryan and Kai setting up the music, while Tyler was pouring ice into the cooler. Maybe this wasn't going to be as bad as I thought.

        I sat by the edge of the pool and dipped my feet in. The coolness of the water felt great.

        "Having fun?" Vincent asked as he sat beside me.

        "The time of my life." I joked.

        Vincent chuckled and I could feel the nervous flutters in the pit of my stomach. Why does he always make me feel like this?

        "You know, if we're supposed to be a couple, we should at least go on a date."

        I tried to hide my excitement, and I did a good job of it, but I still had a big smile on my face. Hey, at least I didn't get up and do a happy dance like I wanted to. Wait, a happy dance? No calm down, you wanted to do a happy dance because this makes you one step closer to winning right?

        "Vincent LeClaire, I started "Is this your way of discreetly asking me on a date?"

        He blushed and looked away. Hah! I made him blush. "I just wanted to make us look more realistic. Your friends are going to notice if we never go on any dates."

        I wanted to tease him some more, but I didn't want him to get upset. "Yeah you're right. Saturday?"

        He nodded. "Lunch?"

        "Sure, where to? Never mind, just surprise me."

        "Good I'm great at surprises." He chuckled. I leaned towards him and laid my head on his shoulder.

        "Well, well, well, where was my invite to this little get together?" An obnoxious voice sounded from behind me.

So when I say I'm angry I mean I'm angry. For starters I didn't get to do white Wednesday and I'm not going to homecoming And I got one single comment on the last chapter :/

 I get a 3 day weekend so that means another upload before monday *Jumps in air in excitement*
