G.N.O. (26)

        If I had to describe the way I was feeling now, nervous would be an understatement. Honestly. My heart was literally pounding right now and those obnoxious butterflies were swarming around my stomach. Maybe it was because I was still upset about not being able to say the L word to Vincent this morning, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that I hadn't had a girl's day in years.

        Girls back in Michigan tended to have grudges against me because I had stolen their boyfriend or they were afraid I was going to. Whose fault is it that their boyfriends didn't love them enough to stay faithful. Ha. And I didn't even have to put out to get them to fall at my feet.

        Speaking of Michigan, I should probably give Ryan a call soon...

        "There she is!" Christie shouted as I approached the table they were sitting at.

        Christie, Megan, Danielle, and Kendall simultaneously stood from their seats and walked towards me.

        "Thank God you're here," Kendall sighed. "I was getting sick of Christie asking where you were and getting excited every time the door opened."

        I chuckled and gave Christie and amused look. "Well, I'm here now, so where do you guys want to go first."

        "Obviously the best store in the mall." Megan stated.

        Nine West.

        It had always been one of my favorite stores. Even back home in Michigan. I was very proud of my shoe collection, which consisted of any shoe from pumps to sneakers. I'm pretty sure I'd even bought a pair of tap shoes, though I've never even taken a tap lesson.

        I have so many shoes I had to leave some back in Michigan. There were still shoes in my closet that were never taken out of the box. Maybe I have an addiction. I should probably get that checked out.

        We walked into Nine West and Kendall was immediately drawn to a pair of cheetah print pumps.

        "Aren't these amazing?" she squealed.

        Danielle took the shoe out of her hand and set it back on the shelf, "Yes and you just bought a pair two weeks ago that you have yet to open."

        Kendall looked confused for a second before realization dawned on her face. She looked at Danielle and sent her a meek smile.

        We spent the next hour and a half shoe shopping. I ended up getting a pair of all white gladiator sandals that had an intricate design of beading on it that draped all around the ankle. I also decided to get those cute cheetah print pumps that Kendall saw and I snagged a pair of all black boots that stopped halfway up my shin. The winter season was rolling around and though I already had a vast array of winter shoes, a new pair wouldn't hurt.

        We left Nine West and headed over to Banana Republic. We only spent so much time there because they just didn't have what we were looking for. After leaving Banana Republic, Christie made us go into Aeropostale. Now, I wasn't much of an Aero girl myself, but Christie obviously was. I mean, I had a few things from Aeropostale, but I was more of a Forever 21 girl.

        After Christie practically cleared the shelves, we headed to Abercrombie & Fitch. Now, let's get a few things clear. There were only two reasons we went to Abercrombie & Fitch.

        1) To scout cute boys.

        2) And to scout cute boys.

        It was a well-known fact that Abercrombie & Fitch had a tendency to hire guys that looked like they came out of a male model catalog. It didn't help that there work attire consisted of beachwear all year long. The tight wife beaters and swim trunks they wore did nothing to hide their amazingly sculpted bodies. But don't get me wrong, Vincent was still way hotter.

        Danielle gave Christie a mischievous smirk. "I dare you to give that cashier a strip tease."

        Christie's mouth practically hit the floor. "I wouldn't dare."

        "Oh come on. It's not like we're asking you to run naked down that mall." Kendall added.

        "I'm still not doing that!"

        "I'll give you twenty bucks." Danielle said, waving a crisp twenty dollar bill in front of Christie's face.

        Christie looked away from Danielle, remaining with her decision.

        "I'll do it." Megan spoke up, snatching the bill out of Danielle's hand.

        I crossed my hands over my chest. This was a sight to see. Little Miss Quiet was actually going to do this. There's no way. She doesn't have the-

        "Oh my God! She's actually doing it!" Kendall shrieked.

        I watched in complete shock as Megan hopped on the counter and started dancing to Chris Brown's Strip

Take it off, I wanna love ya

And everybody, wanna touch ya.

You movin' right; want to see what's up under.

Then back it up, Beep! Beep! Like a trucker.

Nice thighs, nice waist,

And you know I can't forget about your face.

But don't none of that matter.

I'm about to make your pockets fatter.

Girl I just want to see you strip,

Right now cause' it's late and...

Girl I just want to see you strip,

Girl take your time with it!'

Girl I just want to see you strip,

God damn you're sexy!

God damn you're sexy!

God damn you're sexy!

Girl I just want to see you...

        The cashier was in complete oblivion. The only thing he was focused on was the way Megan's hips would sway with the beat of the song that was playing from her phone. She lifted her shirt a little so the flat skin if her belly was showing just a tad. When she dropped it low I'm pretty sure I saw the guy drool a bit. She trailed her hands up her legs as she rose back to a standing position. She bit her lip seductively and winked at the cashier before hopping off the counter and trotting back towards us.

        We didn't even have time to say anything because the store manager came running towards with a furious look on her face. It was tomato red, and also very, very, hilarious. We ran out the store laughing our asses off.

        "Oh my gosh!" I panted between laughs. "I can't believe you just did that."

        "Neither can I." Megan responded, her breathing just as anchored as mine.

        "Did you see the look on his face? I'm positive I saw him drool." Danielle said when she got her laughter under control.

        "Yeah, he slipped his number in my back pocket as I was getting off the counter. I'm pretty sure his name was James."

        "I'm jealous that Megan is pulling models." Kendall joked. We spent the rest of our time in the mall just laughing and shopping.

        We stopped at a few more stores inside the mall before deciding to call our shopping trip to an end. At around six, we left the mall and headed back to Megan's house to crash for the night. When we got inside her house we sat our bags by the door and walked into the den.

        "Mom?" Megan called.

        No answer.

        She sighed and plopped on the couch beside Christie. "She's never home. Neither is my dad. I swear, sometimes I feel like I live alone."

        "I wish I lived alone. My mom keeps me on this super strict diet. Something about if I don't watch what I eat I'll grow out of my cheer uniform. She expects way too much of me. Be luck your parents just give you money and go." Danielle groaned.

        "It's not as nice as you think. I think the last time I saw one of my parents was three weeks ago and the last time I saw them together was... Well, I can't even tell you that."

        "My dad is convinced that Adam and I aren't going to stay together, so he is completely opposed to us going to college together." Kendall said.

        "I still haven't give Kai an answer. I mean, I know I like him, but I don't know. There's just something holding me back." Christie added, wanting to be a part of the conversation.

        It was silent for a while before I realized everyone was looking at me. Were they expecting me to say something too? I sighed and thought for a moment. "Vincent told me he loved me."

        Danielle sat up straight out of her slouched position and looked at me like I was crazy. "And how is that a bad thing?"

        I sighed and threw my arm over my eyes. "It's not, but I didn't say it back."

        "Why not?" Kendall demanded.

        "I don't know, I just couldn't bring myself to say it."

        "Do you love him?" Danielle asked.

        "Of course! How could I not after everything he's done for me; after everything we've been through."

        It was silent for a while before I let out a humor less laugh. "You know, my life was never this complicated until I moved here. Or at least it hadn't been for a while. I actually got sent here because my parents thought I was too bad, but I haven't done a single bad ass thing since I've got here."

        A Cheshire grin formed on Kendall's face. "Do you guys want to have some fun?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        "Oh my gosh! I can't believe we just did that!" Megan squealed.
        "Shush!" The rest of us hushed her.
        "Are you trying to get us caught?" Christie whisper-yelled.
        "It's not like anyone is here to hear us." She argued, rolling her eyes.
        I threw the last roll of toilet paper over the roof and watched as it unraveled and made a long white streak. Kendall came up with the idea to roll the school. I was honestly mildly surprised. Even I never thought of doing something like this. This was bad, and I have to admit, it felt good to break the rules.
        We all decided to dress up in black and put on black make up and everything to get the full effect. It was probably the most fun I've ever had since I've been here. Who new girl's night out could be so fun.
        "Guys," I started, as we sneak away from the campus, making sure no one was watching of following us, "Thanks. For all of this. I really needed it."
        "That's what friends are for, right?" Christie asked, throwing her arm over my shoulder.
        I smiled brightly and wiped the unshed tears from my eyes. If every day felt like this one, I think my life would be perfect.
