PERFECT- Thwirty Twix

"Cause I am a champion, and you're going to hear me roar!" I sang softly while looking for a suitable prom dress.

"Are you sure you're well enough to go to prom? I mean it's only been a month since you recovered." Christie argued, stopping in front of me with a worried look on her face.

The rest of the girls mimicked her face and I sighed. "Guys, I'm okay. The doctor says as long as I don't go crazy I'll be perfectly fine, so stop being so worried about me."

"We're sorry, but when you were in that coma you had us really worried. We just can't bear to see anything happen to you again." Danielle explained.

"I know and I'm sorry. I just want people to stop worrying about me. My parents come and check on me literally every night. My dad shouldn't even still be here."

Megan put a hand on my shoulder and smiled. "Ah, the sweet love of parents."

"Can we just find our dresses?" Kendall laughed.

"I'm not even sure why I'm looking, Vincent hasn't even asked me yet."

No one said anything they just continued looking at dresses.

"Hello, crisis here!"

"Huh? Oh I'm sure he'll ask you soon enough." Christie said with a wave of the hand. The rest of the girls just nodded and agreed.

I rolled my eyes. They were so much help. I let my thoughts of Vincent leave my mind so I could continue with my search. As I was walking past the aisles a few dresses caught my eye, but none of them were worth it. I wanted a dress that just screamed glamour. I wanted to walk I the doors and be the prettiest girl in the room. Some simple black dress wasn't going to cut it.

"Ugh," I groaned. "We need to go to another store."

"This is the fourth store today!" Dani complained.

"I know but I just can't find anything that really stands out. I want to look fabulous."

"Rose, just keep looking, you'll find something eventually." Kendall chimed in.

With a large huff of breath I sat down on one of the benches for people to try on shoes. My eyes needed a rest from all the color of the dresses.

I closed my eyes and thought about my dream dress. I always imagined my prom dress would be like a royal blue with an intricate design on the side. I wanted it to be strapless and flowy in the back.

"So much for that dream." I sighed and pushed myself off the bench, but as I lifted myself up, I hit my head against something hard.

"What the-" I was cut short when I saw exactly what I hit my head on. It was the elbow of a mannequin that was wearing the most beautiful dress I've ever seen in my life. It was a coral dress that had a silver top that wrapped around the neck. The rest was a nicely draped all around the bottom (sorry guys I have terrible description skills). It was indescribably beautiful.

"This is the one." I whispered just loud enough for the girls to hear and start crowding around me.

"Wow." Megan gasped.

"I want it." Kendall said, reaching for it, but I smacked her hands away before she could grab it.

"Keep your grubby paws off of my dress." I scolded

"How much is it?" Christie asked.

I looked at the tag and sighed. "749.99"

The girls all gave me sad looks, but I felt that it was unnecessary. Tom and my dad agreed to half and half on the dress giving me a maximum spending limit of $900.00 total. I didn't need jewelery so I just had to get shoes that woud go perfect with my dress. Prom was just a few weeks away and I could already tell that it would be a magical night.

Now Vincent just needed to ask me. Just as the thought left my mind my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey beauitful." Vincent breathed in that raspy voice of his.

Instantly my face lit up and everyone knew who I was talking to. "What's up?"

"Nothing really  was just wondering how your shopping trip is going."

"Great actually. I found my dress."

"That's good make sure to send me a picture of you in it."

"Why, So you can undress me with your eyes?"  I teased.

"You know it. But anyway, do you want to go out tonight?"

"Sure, where to?"

"Out to dinner."

"Should I dress up?"

"Yes."

"Okay, then what time are you coming to get me?"

"Eight."

After I finished making the arrangements with Vincent I grabbed my dress and booted it out the store only saying, "I have a date bitches!"

~~~~~~~~
It didn't take me long to find an outfit for my date with Vincent. I'd been waiting for an occasion where I could where something fancy so I already had the perfect outfit. It was a tight, long sleeve black dress that stopped mid-thigh. I added a pair of sparkly gold pumps as well as some gold jewelry. I'd had so much time that I decided to ombre my hair. So now it was going from dark brown to blond in pretty curls.
I really wanted to stun Vincent. We hadn't been on a date for a while considering i was in a coma for a long time and I've been recovering ever since. I wanted to make sure this date was perfect. I had no idea how I planned to do that considering I had no idea where we were going. That didn't matter though. As long as I was with Vincent everything would be fine.
Ding-Dong!
I looked at myself in the mirror one last time making sure I looked okay. Vincent was here and it was the moment of truth. I left my room and opened the front door and smiled at the gorgeous man in front of me.
"Hey," He started with a smile. "You look amazing. I really like your hair."
"Thank you. I'm not over dressed am I?"
"No, you're just as dressed up as I am."
I smiled and pushed myself up on my tippy-toes and kissed him. There were those fireworks again, and those reproducing butterflies in the pit of my stomach. I loved it. I never wanted to stop kissing him. That thought made me push my body closer to him and kiss him harder. I could feel him smiling as we pulled apart.
"Making up for lost time." I blushed at his questioning look.
He just laughed, intertwined our fingers and led me to the car. Then, he got in the drivers side and we were off.
"So I guess it would be pointless to ask where we're going?"
"Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner."
"You suck." I pouted.
"Get over it. And put this on," He handed me a black scarf. "No peeking, we're almost there."
I reluctantly put on the scarf and waited for the endless car ride to end. It wasn't long before Vincent was helping me out of the car. I tried to use my other senses to help me figure out where we were. I could hear the sounds of distant voices and the smell of sea water was wafting through my nose. I knew we weren't on the beach because i wasn't slipping in the sand under my heels.
"Are you ready?" Vincent whispered in my ear.
I just nodded. In one swift movement the scarf was off of me and my eyes fluttered open. "Vincent," I sighed happily. "You didn't."
"But I did. You said it sounded like fun so I had to make it happen for you."
"This cruise ship only comes in and opens their restaurant once in a blue moon. How did you manage to get reservations."
"I pulled a few strings."
I turned to him and planted another kiss on his lips. "I don't know how i got someone as amazingas you."
Vincent kissed me back and then we went and got on the cruise ship. I was so excited, I'd never been on a cruise before, and tonight I was actually going to eat on one.
Vincent and I waited in line for a little while but when we got to the front the hostess led us to our table. The entire scene was very fancy. The entire restaurant was draped in wite, with splashes of red velvet on the curtains and carpet. I felt like I was in a restaurant for celebrities. The little VIP section, or so it seemed, Vincent arranged just made me feel all the more out of place.
But despite the awkward feeling, i was happy. I was really greatful because i'm sure Vincent went through a lot to get these reservations.
"Do you like it?" He asked, pulling out my seat.
"I love it, but you didn't have to do all of this."
"Yeah, I know but i wanted to make up for lost time. This is the first date we had since the imcident."
I laughed a little. That seemed so long ago, but in honesty it was a very recent event. I'm still sore. "Let's not even bring that up tonight. I want this to be about you and me."
And it was. Vincent and I spent the remainder of dinner chatting and trying the food that the restaraunt had to offer. After dinner, Vincent and I decided to go walking around the ship.
As we walked, I leaned my head against his chest and said, "You know i love you right?"
Vincent kissed me and my toes curled. Everytime I kissed Vincent I had a different expierence; something like never before. It was just a moment of pure bliss. A moment that sadly ended because Vincent decided he wanted to show me something. He led me to the front of the ship and we watched the moon dance on horizon. It was beautiful.
"I this what you wanted to show me?" I murmered.
"No," He started reaching into his back pocket. "This is."
In his hand, there was a long, rectangular, velvet box. I could already imagine what could be inside, a necklace or something probably. He opened the box and there was a beautiful silver charm bracelet on the inside. It had a one single charm on it.
"Read the box," He instructed, handing it to me.
Oh Rosalie, will you go to prom with me?(Cheesy I know. What can i say I'm a sucker for the cliche thing.)
Tears started forming in my eyes and I couldn't even move. I looked at the bracelet and noticed that the heart shaped charm had "Prom?" carved into it.
"Well?"
"Yes." I nodded throwing my arms around him and engulfing him in another passionate kiss. Tears were coming down my face and I was thankful for choosing waterproof makeup.
"How did I get so lucky." I asked when we finally broke the kiss.
"I ask myself the same questions everyday."
I held out my wrist and Vincent put the bracelet on my wrist. It was at that same moment that fireworks started bursting in the air. There was only one way to describe that moment. Perfect.
There you go my beautiful luvies!!! A brand spanking new chapter. I've been so busy with school, and i was grounded for the last 3 months so it's not really my fault... Okay it is, but at least i did this...
Just tell me how much you hate me in the comments below lol
