Part 8

It's been a few months since the wedding, but they couldn't go on a honeymoon since the stay at home order for omegas. Dabi was working in the kitchen when he decided to surprise Keigo with a fancy dinner. "Kei should be home in a few hours. Should be plenty of time. I wonder if Tomo will help me." Dabi called his neighbor and the two left for the store. "So when are you due?" "A week. I'm nervous. Is that normal?" Tomo laughed. "Yeah. Totally normal. You know, Kiki and I were younger than you when we had our first." The alpha's words calmed Dabi down a bit. Tomo was one of the few alphas allowed in the beta community. His wife, Kiki, was a beta and their two children were both betas. "Alright we're here." Tomo opened the door and the two went to shopping.  While in the store, a few of the other alphas looked to Dabi with what he could feel was anger. Dabi shook it off as he continued shopping. As he and Tomo got back to the car a cup filled hot coffee was thrown at Dabi. Dabi flinched as he felt the much taller alpha stand in the way, catching most of the hot drink. "Omega whore!" He heard the other customer yell. "Dabi. Get in the car." Tomo yelled obscenities at the other then got in the driver's seat. "I'm sorry." "You have nothing to be sorry for. This is exactly why there's a stay at home order. Let's get you home and safe. Both of you."

When they got back, there was a large black vehicle in the driveway. Several alphas stood at the door and Dabi recognized every one of them. "Keigo's home too." Tomo got out first and tried to attack. "Where the hell is my wife?" One of the masked individuals walked towards him. "The omega who lives here. Where is he?" "My wife." "Is safe. Now where is the omega." Dabi got out of the car. "I'm right here. Sorry." "Dabi." The two hugged. "Kei's been worried sick about you." "I know. I'm sorry. I wanted to surprise him." "Baby bird!" The beta hugged his husband. "Thanks for watching over him, Tomo. Kiki! Tomo's back!" A short woman with two children ran to the alpha. "Kei. You and Dabi need to come back to the city. I couldn't stop him."

On the drive back they got more information. Kai Chisaki, aka Overhaul, payed political authority to disband all beta communities with two or more omegas living in the area. "First thing we're doing is getting Dabs to the-" "No can do. Hospitals aren't safe for omegas anymore. Besides, the doctor who normally sees him has been fired." Dabi's faced turned to worry. "But. He was the only-" "I know. That's why he's now the League's official doctor." Shinso tried to reassure the pair. "Everything's going to be ok. Chisaki is just able to control parts of the government that I can't." They pulled up to their new home. "I'll send Spinner to get you two in a week. Just call if he goes into labor before then." Dabi groaned. "No need. Fuck. Baby's coming." "Baby's coming? Like right now?" Shinso called the doctor while Keigo was panicking slightly. "Can't you hold it in?" "No, Keigo. I can't. The baby decides when it wants to come and there's nothing I can really do to stop it. AAAAHAAAA!!!!" Dabi screamed as he felt contractions. "Shit."

Keigo sat in the "waiting room" of the lair. "So. Does this mean you're joining?" Toga looked at the blond. "Yeah. I guess so. Any of you have kids?" Kaminari nodded as he held onto Nezumi tightly. "Denki won't talk. An alpha-" she leaned a bit closer to Keigo. "Raped him while he was working. Toshi had him scheduled for surgery. He can't have any more kids." Toga sat back up. "Toshi was so pissed off he nearly killed the guy." "And he should have. The asshole walked just because of who his father is." Shigaraki leaned against the wall. Dabi's screams were heard through out the lair. "Fuck it. Put him under. He's fighting back. Dabs you have to breath and just let it happen. Don't fight your own kid." "We have a problem. Umbilical cord came out first. We have three minutes." Keigo jumped up and ran to the room. "Three minutes for what?" "To get this baby out or they both die."

Three minutes felt like hours to Keigo, but soon enough the doctor came out. "He's sleeping. Operation was a success. A very healthy baby girl. But." "But? But what?" "He needs to be marked. You're not an alpha, but if you have a bonded mate, nothing will be said. But Dabi needs to be marked." Shinso piped up. "Can't I take the kid? Until they are? Dabi's not ready to be bonded." "I know. But no. The parents have to be bonded." Keigo sighed as he looked to his sleeping husband. "He can hate me, but he'll thank me later." Keigo but down on the back of Dabi's neck, making sure his teeth marks could be seen. "There. No ones taking her from us." The doctor nodded. "I'll make sure my assistant gets your daughter to you as soon as she's cleaned up."

A few minutes later a nurse walked into the room. Dabi was still sleeping and Keigo was hunched over him. "Mr. Takami?" "Yes?" "Your baby girl." Keigo was handed a baby and looked at her with a smile. "Welcome to the world, snowbird." The baby sneezed and began to cry. "Kei. Go." Dabi groaned as he opened his eyes. "Hey. Baby bird. Look at her. she's beautiful." Dabi smiled as he drifted back to sleep. Shinso walked in. "How is everything?" "So far so good." "Let me see her." Keigo handed the baby girl to her uncle. "Hey." She began to cry again. "No. It's ok." Shinso began to rock the baby. "Daddy?" "Come on in, baby girl. Want to meet your cousin?" Nezumi nodded as she walked into the room. "Where she come from?" Shinso laughed. "From Dabi." "But why?" Shinso changed the subject. "How's papa doing?" "He still no talk." Shinso handed Keigo back his daughter as he picked up his own, holding her tightly. "Is he asleep?" Nezumi nodded and turned to Dabi. "Dabi sleep too?" Keigo nodded. The young girl pointed at the baby. "What her name?" Keigo chuckled. "I'll have to wait for Dabi to wake up so he can help me decide." Shinso left the couple and their child. "My snowbird." "She smells like an alpha. Thank god."
