Dabi tried to forget the other day. He decided to focus on his daughter. She'd been crying for a few minutes but it felt like forever for Dabi, who hadn't really gotten a decent nights sleep for a while. "Hold on. Daddy's coming with food." He prepared a bottle but stopped when everything went quiet. "Kei? Are you home?" He walked into the living room. "Get out. Get the fuck out!" "I have a mission. You know nothing will stop me." Stain held the baby. "She's cute. A shame she has to die." "No. No!" Dabi ran to Stain and tried to knock the knife out of his hand. "Stop. She's done nothing." Dabi managed to get Hinokuma away from Stain, and run to the master bedroom. He locked the door and laid Hinokuma in her crib. Dabi sat against the door as he called his husband. "Fuck. Voicemail. "Kei! I need you home! Now!" He left his message and called Shinso. "Hello? Kinda busy." "Toshi. Help." Dabi screamed as Stain forced his way into the room. "Dabs? What's going on?" "Stain. Leave! Get out! AAAAHHAAA!!!" All Shinso heard was Dabi screaming and someone grunting in the background. The line went dead as Stain hung up the call. "Like he can help you." Stain thrusted into Dabi." "Stop. Please. Just leave us. I won't tell anyone. Please." Dabi tried to suppress a moan. He didn't want this, but it felt so good and it'd been awhile. But he only wanted Keigo. "Stain. Please." "This wouldn't be happening if you just let me mark you and claim you as mine. The kid wouldn't be a target, if she were mine. Remember that this is your fault." Stain stopped moving and released inside Dabi. Dabi couldn't stop the tears. Stain pulled out and picked up Hinokuma again, who began crying. "Ppplease. Leave her alone." Dabi's body felt heavy. Everything hurt and he couldn't move. Hinokuma let out a painful scream as Stain's knife penetrated her right eye. "ENOUGH! Stain. Drop it." Shinso let himself in. "My orders come from higher up than you." Shinso cocked his pistol and aimed. "I. Said. Drop it." Stain growled as he put the baby down and dropped his knife. "Spinner! Get him to the doc! Himi! Get the baby!" Dabi flinched at Spinner's touch. "I know. Just hold on. She's going to be ok." Toga did her best to stop the bleeding as she ran back to the lair with Spinner following with Dabi. This left Shinso and Stain alone in the house. "Outside. Now." The two stepped into the backyard. "You have to the count of ten to explain yourself. One. Two. Nine. Ten." Shinso emptied the pistol's magazine right in Stain's head and chest. "Compress, set up a meeting with All for One. He and I have some business to discuss." "Yes sir."

Dabi curled up on the bed. He didn't want to see anyone. "Dabi, I'm not going to do anything but hand you your daughter. She's ok." The doctor laid Hinokuma on the bed with Dabi. He held onto her with shaky hands. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Shinso walked into the lair. "How is he?" "He's fine for now." Shinso told the other league members to leave. "I want the same procedure done to Dabi as you did to Denki." "Are you sure? You'd need his permission along with his mate." "Just do it. He'll thank me. You know damn well Stain made sure he'd end up pregnant and do you really think Dabi is going to be somewhat calm about that?" The doctor shook his head. "You have a point. As soon as Keigo gets here, I'll get started." Shinso thanked the doctor and left to get his husband.

Keigo got to the lair as fast as he could. "Where are they? What the hell happened?" The doctor brought Keigo to the room where Dabi finally fell asleep. "Baby bird." "Uh huh. You need to get out." Keigo was pushed out by Kaminari. "What the fuck?" "Just let him. Let me explain what happened." Once Shinso was finished, Keigo hung his head in his hands. "No. This is somehow my fault. I wasn't home. I should've been home." "No. This has nothing to do with you. What I need you to do is reassure Dabi that it isn't his fault either. I know my brother. He'll twist it like he always does. 'If I did then-' stuff like that. But right now, I have a meeting." Keigo pulled Shinso's arm. "What are the chances of this happening again?" "Minuscule. They guy who did it is dead, and I'm about to confront the guy who allowed it to happen."

Meanwhile Dabi cried into Kaminari's shoulder. "I know. Trust me. But you did nothing wrong." "If I had just bonded with him." "No. Don't even think that. Stain was a horrible person to begin with. You deserve so much better. Keigo's a good guy. He really is. You deserve a good one." Kaminari held Hinokuma. "She's so cute." His words were supposed to distract Dabi, and put focus on others who were positively impacted by him. "You really think this beautiful girl would've existed if you bonded with Stain?" "No. She wouldn't. Can I ask a favor?" Kaminari nodded. "Can you and Hito watch her for a few days, just while I try to sleep?" "Absolutely. I'll make sure Keigo knows so he can focus on you." Dabi thanked the blond just before the doctor entered. "Mr. Shinso, if you would please. I have a surgery to perform ordered from your husband." "Everything's going to be ok." Dabi nodded as he was put under. Keigo stood outside the room. "Hino too?" He took the baby from Kaminari. "I'm so sorry snowbird."

Shinso sat at his desk while he waited for All for One. "You wanted to see me? Usually it's the other way around." "Sit." Shinso gestured to the other chair. "Yes or no. Did you send Stain to kill Hinokuma Takami?" "Where is this coming from?" Shinso glared at his father. "Yes. Or. No." All for One stayed silent. "That gives me my answer. Second question. Yes or no. Did you know what Stain was going to do Dabi?" More silence. "Good to know. You know what happens next, don't you?" "You think you can do anything? I run the League. You're just allowed to be the face." "Then you should really tell the rest of the League that. Because they answer to me. Not you." Shinso got up from his chair. "The way I see it, you have two options. Die here, right now. Or. Leave. And stay away from us. I'll get a restraining order if I have to." "I will choose neither. This is my League. And you are nothing but a child." Shinso turned to the alpha. "There once was a time I could proudly call you 'father'. Dabi too. Until you showed him that you didn't care. I think he would have preferred being beaten that whatever the hell you did. And for me, you nearly killed my niece, and provided the means of my brother's rape." "I'll have Stain hunt you down for this." Shinso chuckled. "Oh. I already dealt with Stain. You're no longer welcome here, my home, or Dabi's. Get the fuck out of my sight. Now." All for One saw the anger in Shinso's eyes. And he knew better than to try to test it. He turned around to leave. "On second thought." Shinso then shot him in the leg. "Let's subject you to the same torturous existence you raised Dabi in. Lock him up. Feel free to torture him. Himiko, I have a new toy for you to break. Have fun." "Now. I work on rebuilding. Hopefully Denki was able to help Dabi. I can't imagine what they're going through."
